About: looking to be a working in the veterinary field and thought walking and getting to hang out with different types of dogs would help to gain experience with pet care and learn. I'm currently working which does take up most of my availability, however that hasn't stop me from volunteering at the nearest animal shelter every other week. I care for pets at clients home by make sure pets are well feed and hydrated. Taking any specific detail very seriously as to not over step any boundaries. Most importantly is to keep your pet company and comfortable as long as possible.

About: Hi everyone! My name is Alyssa, and I’ve been a dog person my whole life. I grew up with two dogs from the time I was 12, and for the last six years I’ve been the proud dog mom of the light of my life and best friend, Dexter! He was originally my husband’s first dog, but I quickly (and happily) took over as his mom, and now Dexter is truly our best friend. My husband and I have always both been complete dog lovers, and it’s actually one of the first things we bonded over! He’s spent years watching friends’ and family members’ pups of all sizes and breeds, so together we’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs and their different personalities. We both work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means plenty of attention, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. Since we can’t add a second dog to our family just yet, we genuinely enjoy welcoming other pups into our lives. We treat every dog like they’re part of our family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained while they’re with us. I will make sure that your dog will get the same devoted care and affection that Dexter gets from us every single day! We currently both work from home with flexible schedules, so we can easily adapt to whatever you and your pup may need throughout the day. Whether it’s extra walks, play breaks, or check-ins, we’re able to be flexible and attentive! We are also typically free on weekends, and I would love to be able to spend more time outdoors on walks adventures, or playtime with your dogs! Our own pup, Dexter, has severe anxiety and was unfortunately hurt at a dog park in the past, so my fiancé and I have become extremely attentive to the individual needs of every dog we care for. We’ve learned how important it is to watch for subtle changes in behavior, understand their comfort levels, and create an environment where they feel safe and supported. Because of this, I’m become very good at adapting to what a dog needs in the moment, whether that’s extra reassurance, quiet space, a burst of playtime, or a cozy cuddle session. While I love giving affection and attention, I also make sure to fully respect when a dog needs space or wants to be left alone. This experience has made me especially patient, observant, and responsive, ensuring each pup feels understood and cared for exactly the way they need.

About: I moved from AZ one year ago and got experience fostering dogs, volunteering at animal shelters, no-kill sanctuaries and have cared for friend's pets overnight. I am a full-time student, but my schedule fluctuates. Typically available every night after 5pm and free most weekends. Very flexible with timing, I want to make it work! I enjoy parks, walks and going for runs but also inside play and cuddles. Supporting all energy needs and personalities are important to me! I am open to getting a crate if needed.
