When I moved away for college, The house felt so empty without a furry companion, so I began fostering. I quickly became a failed foster, as I fell in love with my little pittie mix way too easy. We’ve traveled across the US together and I eventually rescued a sister for her because (like most pibbles), she needs all the attention and friendship she can find. I have over 5 years experience with pitties/ large discriminatory breeds, and although I have a heart for all breeds, those steal my heart. I work full time m-f with a flexible job, so I can adjust, depending on the day. However, the majority of my availability is in the mornings, evenings or weekends! I have (2) dogs at home and am used to having arms full of leashes. We walk in busier areas, but I tend to keep shorter leashes and stray from other dogs, for caution unless I have a single leash with control and know the dogs body language. “I’m always a little nervous leaving my dogs with anyone, especially since I have a 9 month old puppy and a 3 year old Miniature Pinscher. But Katya was amazing. She took such great care of them and kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which really helped ease my mind while we were away for 4 days. Both dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious they got plenty of attention and were treated like part of the family, not just watched. I live in an apartment, but we have a dog park area where I take my pups for potty breaks. It is a gated community, so not a public dog park.

“Nicole has been a blessing for us and our dog. We feel so lucky to find someone who will take care of your fur baby as her own. She first offered a meet & greet and then we scheduled a short daycare, and then a overnight stay for him to start getting adjusted to his new boarding time with Nicole since we will be going on vacation for a week. My dog has some anxiety when he is away from home so that was very helpful to first have the meet & greet. Nicole is very welcoming and my dog felt very comfortable with Nicole and her beautiful home. She has a nice fenced yard and a park across the street for walks. My dog also takes medication and is a very picky eater and she had no problem accommodating all his needs. I was very hesitant to use Rover since I heard of some negative reviews but I'm glad I gave it a try and found Nicole.”
