About: I have boarded small dogs (10-15 lb) for weeks at a time. I'm very attentive to keeping a schedule but also flexible if things go awry. Currently working remotely and part time so have a lot of availability throughout the week. I don't prefer weekends but am willing to take care of your pets on weekends. I live in an apartment complex in walking distance to multiple parks. Taking your pets out on walks will be no issue. As for boarding, I will clean up after myself and leave the place better than I found it.

I'm originally from Colorado, and just recently moved back to Denver after living abroad in London for the past few years. I have a dog and cat myself, who still remain a major part of my family. I’m currently on sabbatical from work, and although rest is a big priority right now, I also am looking to fill some of my spare time and meet some new four-legged friends. I used to volunteer at a local shelter in the Emergency and Rehabilitation department, which is where I gained a lot of my experience with senior animals, medication application, and refined care-taking skills for animals that require a little extra TLC. I also helped out with a lot of their "happier" events, like the Furry Scurry, where hundreds of dogs and their owners gather at a local park for a communal walk to help support pets in need. I always like to set up meet and greets prior to official bookings, so any individual quirks or needs for your fur-babies can be discussed then. I have a psychiatric service dog that I like to bring with me to house sittings if it works out for everyone. However, I do have the ability to leave her home if this arrangement doesn’t work with your fur babies. Please let me know if you have any more questions! I'm currently self-employed and work from home, so I have a ton of flexibility in my schedule. I'm open to day sitting as well as house sitting. Whatever is best for both you and your pets. Since I am self-employed, I am very flexible in how I can care for your fur babies. For overnights, I prefer to house sit (as do the pets usually) but for the right pets we can discuss boarding. I have my own dog who can stay behind at home, or if the dynamic works she can join me and provide some additional four-legged company.

We have a large fenced yard along with parks that back up to our house - which means lots of walks and park play for your fur babies. About: I have walked and pet sat multiple different dogs of different breeds and ages including large dogs, puppies and extremely hyper dogs. I have also pet sit cats on multiple occasions along with owning my own cats and dogs. I’m currently working full time but I am off no later than 1-2pm everyday since that is my availability. I am often off earlier than that but it depends day to day. I have my schedule two weeks in advance so I am able to plan in advance for walks and check-ins if needed. For pets in my own home I keep a cleanly space by cleaning their bowls, litter box and enclosure everyday along with giving them lots of love. As for clients homes I would do the same. I would treat their animals as if they were my own with the same expectation of cleanliness and care. I would keep a clients space clean, kennel dogs if needed, walk dogs, feed/water animals etc.

About: Hello my name is Thomas (TJ). I have been caring for both my own pets and those of others for two decades now. I utilize my experience working in professional kennels and training centers to better help care for the needs of your furry friends. My love of animals began when I was five, when I received my first pet, a German Shepherd rescue named Bullet. I've since had several cats, four dogs(currently have a brilliant GSD named Saint), seven ferrets, a coupe of rabbits and a sugar glider named Pete. Outside of my time with my own pets I worked as a dog walker and Cat Sitter in New York City for a year, meeting and caring for all manner of breed from each species. I recently left an office job that I stayed at the last three years While I enjoyed the nice wages and benefits, I prefer to feed my soul with my work and taking care of animals does this for me in spades. I can work with your schedule, simply let me know the times that work best for you. In my own home I have a fenced in yard with a 5.5ft metal grate fence that is padlocked to prevent unwanted opening. I also use a radio collar fence for my own dogs which keeps them safely confined in a humane manner. When caring for pets I take into account disposition, age, health and any special needs. I never allow interaction of your pets with anyone else or their pets unless instructed that this is okay and even then with the most careful of supervision. I believe strongly in letting the pet "tell" me what they want, in the manner they communicate best. It is up to us to read their clear communication with a pet focused brain, rather than in a human capacity. When on walks or in care situations, my phone remains mostly out of hand except for picture taking. I give the pets all the focus I can so they get the best experience possible.
