They sent picture updates that kept us feeling connected and reassured. Our pup recently had surgery for torn CCL’s and they monitored her activity making sure there was no jumping or rough play while still keeping her happy with love and attention. I was surprised by how excited our pup was to arrive, which is rare since she typically doesn’t like being left anywhere. Seeing her tail wag going into a new place and her happy, relaxed demeanor at pickup said it all. She clearly felt comfortable and cared for. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful sitter and will definitely be booking with them again!”

She got to play all day, and came home absolutely pooped. Walked right in, laid down and knocked out!! We are so beyond thankful to have found people that will genuinely care for our dog, rather than putting her in a big daycare where they don’t show too much interest in the pups. They set up a meet and greet first to learn about your dog and their needs. They also let them play while you are talking with them and watch to make sure they are a good fit. If you are even remotely considering using David and Dawn as your pet sitters, don’t think twice - just book them!”

About: Hi, I’m Jordan! I’ve cared for dogs big and small since I was a teen helping neighbors with their pets. These days, our family includes one dog, one cat, and a few chickens. We’ve also raised Schipperkes, a lively small breed, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Your dog will be part of our daily routine — joining us for walks on nearby trails, playtime in the yard, and plenty of attention. I know how much peace of mind it brings to know your pet is in good hands, and I treat every guest like one of our own. My spouse and I both work from home, so we have someone home nearly 24/7 to provide care for your pet. We take daily walks on our local trails with our dog and family, and have couch hangout time in the evening. Your pup will be part of the family while they join us here! Our home has a large, fully fenced yard with plenty of grass to run and play. Inside, we can easily gate off areas of our split-level house if pets need space away from kids or our cat. About: I work in education and have summers (and holiday stretches) off. My dog recently passed away. He was a large / elderly / mobility-assisted / diapered / blind / medicated dog I had adopted almost 8 years ago. I had adopted a hospice dog in 2023 as well - she was a large breed with multiple cancers, so I am also familiar with that type of end of life care. I love dogs. I have used Rover often and now I would love the chance to use our empty home this summer to pet sit for others! I have an open summer! I work in education and have summers off. I do not have a schedule that I must adhere to. This is a flexible time for me. There are no other pets in our home. I know this is important for some to feel content with their pet being cared for, so this might fill a need that is harder to find!

Miley takes time to warm up with other dogs but I was so happy to hear she was playing with the other doggie guests right away. About: I basically grew up in a zoo (the fun kind), and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I graduated from an animal training program in my 20s, spent three years as a vet tech (I love exotics too), and now work as an RN, so your pets are in very attentive, capable hands. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, crate time, medication, and training cues. With my background in animal training and experience as a vet tech, I'm confident handling different temperaments, reinforcing positive behaviors, and monitoring for signs of stress or illness. On walks, I focus on structured, safe outings that are both enriching and fun. I use secure leashing, stay aware of surroundings, and tailor the pace to your dog's energy level and needs. (I'm also a runner if they enjoy that).

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 and treated them as my own child! I’m experienced with medications and injuries as my own two babies have battled bronchitis and hip surgery. Family and friends rely on me for dietary and overall health of their furkids! My fur kid is my world! *Boarding and Daycare services include a daily walk (weather permitting) (This is a child free home). I’m currently working part-time and am usually home (working remotely) 2 days a week and half days the other 3. My schedule is very flexible. I walk my dogs almost daily and they have a large fenced backyard to play and roam. There is a park next to my home with many trails and parks within a 5 mile radius.
