She took plenty of pictures of them playing and gave me status updates that everything was ok. On the last day, there was an issue with my furnace and she let me know right away and offered to come back and make sure everything was ok, which put my mind at ease. That was something she didn't have to do, but went the extra step to make the experience a little less stressful for me. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kid. Neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to take care of their furry friends. Bathing, feeding, walking, hiking, as well as many other things and lots of belly rubs and cuddles!….. When working with pups I make sure to plan my schedule around walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins to make sure every pup gets the attention and care they need. I’m used to balancing multiple dogs with different routines, so I’m very organized with timing and communication. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday visits, or evening snuggles, I make sure each dog feels loved, safe, and well cared for. When I house sit or do drop-in visits, I follow each pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and happy. I handle feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions, while also keeping the home clean and cozy so everything feels just right when owners return.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
