I have been a stay at home mom for 9 years. Both of my kids are in school now so my schedule is now more freed up but still allowing me to be there for them.

I pay attention to detail and if I notice a pet isn’t acting like there usual self then I start to ask myself questions. Are they hurt, tired, sad, not feeling well, or something else? Then I would call the owner to ask if this is normal because for my pet when it’s not, we go to the vet. I ask a lot of questions because I want to be thorough and make sure I’m giving your fur kiddo everything they need. I offer plenty of pets, hugs, playtime, and love.

I would like to know if there’s anything medically concerning. Also if the dog has any triggers such as loud noises or places or anything of that sort. Also important is what is their favorite thing to do? That way I also know what to include to entertain and have fun with them.
A typical day
I enjoy playing with dogs! Whatever their favorite toy is, ball, rope, frisbee, I will play with them and give them praise. Treats too if allowed. I will walk them around the neighborhood or even take them to a park to get them moving and get that energy out. Or if it’s preferred to stay home and play in the backyard I am always okay to do that too.

Pet care experience
I’ve had pets since I was 5 years old. Rabbits, birds, dogs and cats. Now it’s just dog and cats. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets. We currently have 2 cats and 1 dog. All 3 of them we’ve had since babies to now seniors. I love animals! I promise to care for your fur babies as if they were my own because I do believe your fur babies are a part of your family.
