“Grant is great with my dog Lilah. She runs right down for her walk with him and is always a happy girl upon coming home. His communication with us prior to every walk is awesome and so appreciated. We have been using him for a few weeks and will continue to use him when I am out of town. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring walker/ sitter.”

“Frank took excellent care of our spunky puppy Lucy. Lucy can be a handful sometimes, but Frank took her on nice long walks to give her great exercise while we were away. We knew Lucy was in excellent hands with Frank :)”
“Kelly has been absolutely amazing with my dog! She’s dependable, caring, and always makes sure he gets a good walk and plenty of attention. It’s clear she truly loves what she does—she goes above and beyond every time. My pup is always excited to see her, and I feel totally at ease knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker!”

“Vickie was amazing! She was dependable and on time. Lupo loved her (as did Guido). It was very comforting to know that she was doing such a wonderful job! Highly recommend.”

“Lexie has just been amazing. We contacted Lexie a few weeks ago to walk our pups. She came over to meet the dogs and you could tell right away that she loved animals. I really appreciated the detailed notes Lexie would leave on the boys Rover card. I’m sure my dogs loved seeing her every day. I would highly recommend her.”

“Jenny always takes such good care of our dog. She sends the best reports afterwards and I alway look forward to seeing the fun pictures of her and our dog on a walk together.”

About: I grew up in a dog loving family and have had the joy of raising two dogs of my own from young pups to gentle seniors. While I don’t currently have a dog, I’ve spent years boarding pets for friends and family — and their pups are always excited to come back. My home is calm, cozy, and full of attention, and I treat every dog like they’re part of the family. I can’t wait to meet your sweet pup! I am free and flexible during the week and weekends and can customize for any experience your dog may need. I love to be outside and would enjoy taking walks with your pet! I have a large yard with a 6-foot fence all around. The neighborhood has plenty of options for walks and trails. My home also has a doggie door as optional access to the yard.
“Jenny was incredibly helpful stepping in last minute to walk Maya. She did a fantastic job — Maya came back happy and well-exercised. I really appreciated the pictures and detailed report she sent afterward, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend Jenny for anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog walker!”

“Needed a last-minute dog walker and she was so good with our dog, Wally! Will be booking again for sure. The pics of our dog (plus bonus cat pics) are now saved to my phone lol”

“Emily is so great with our dog, who loves going on walks with her! She is always on time and very easy to communicate with. Have already hired Emily for more walks, highly recommend.”

About: What sets me apart is my strong background working in people-focused, high-responsibility environments. As both a teacher and a collegiate volleyball official, I’m dependable, attentive, patient, and comfortable managing a variety of situations calmly and confidently. I understand the importance of routines, communication, and creating a safe and positive environment—whether that’s for students, athletes, or pets. I genuinely love animals and enjoy being active, so I’m happy to provide long walks, playtime, and lots of attention and companionship. Since I’m currently on summer break from teaching, I also have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and care they deserve. While I do not have formal professional pet care experience yet, I have experience caring for and walking my own dog, as well as spending time with and helping care for family and friend's dogs. I’m very comfortable around animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. My background as a teacher and collegiate volleyball official has also made me extremely responsible, dependable, communicative, and attentive to routines and safety. I am currently a teacher on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m available for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and giving your pups the attention and companionship they need throughout the day. Since my schedule is open during the summer, I’m able to be dependable, responsive, and flexible to meet both you and your pet’s needs. I am happy to come to your home to care for your pet in a comfortable and familiar environment. I can take dogs on long walks, provide plenty of love and attention, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you are away. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease.

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets as well as family and friends my entire life whether it was for vacation, because my parents were working, etc. I am happy to take care of any babies as I love animals and just want to spread the love! I’m currently working 3 days out of the week over at Walmart because I’m taking real estate licensing courses. I would love to take care of some pets in my free time rather than watching tv or doing arts and crafts. I’m currently in an apartment and don’t have a yard, however I know how to properly walk a dog on leash as Ive taken dog training classes with my family dogs. I would not go by any main roads on a walk just for precaution and safety reasons, though a nice long walk in the neighborhood would be great! I enjoy making sure pets have enough water, food, and energy-burning time.
“So grateful Jennie was able to walk both of my dogs all week while my husband was out of town. They came back so happy to have had some exercise. Will definitely hire her in the future. Thank you!”

“Justin was great with our dogs. Especially my Ginny. She’s shy and warmed up to him. She was sitting by the door this morning waiting for him to come. 10/10 will use him again!!!”

“Maddie is the best. She was very punctual and communicated well with my Copper’s walks. This is my first time using Rover and I am glad that Maddie left me with a great experience. Thanks Maddie!”

“We are so happy that David was able to walk our pup on a day we would be gone most of the day. We came home to a very happy and tired our boy. We look forward to working more with David in the future.”

About: I am a long time pet owner who currently owns two cats named Reggie and Ash. I would have a pup if I had the back yard for one, so hopefully soon! I grew up around dogs and have had them for most of my life. I would love to walk your dog, do drop in visits, or even take them to the park! I am very active and love walking, hiking, and running. I also have a fondness for cats! I am happy to drop in and spend some time while you are out of town or gone during the day, even if that means getting ignored by an aloof kitty cat! I am flexible and happy to work with whatever needs your fur baby may have. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible! I currently work remote so I have breaks in my day to walk dogs, do drop ins, or spend some time with animals that need extra love during the day! I currently do not offer services for pets in my household. I have two cats and they get pretty stressed when I bring animals in the home. It’s best I stop into your home!
“Amanda was great at communicating her timing, as well as letting me know how my dog was doing. It seemed like he really enjoyed his walk! I also really appreciated all of the photos she shared.”

Wolhurst dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alex was great with Cookie today. She wasn’t intimidated by Cookie’s size and strength and got her to settle down quickly. As they made their way home from their 30-minute walk, Cookie walked quietly by Alex’s side. Our girl is one “tough Cookie,” but Alex’s skill with dogs is evident.

Jenny was truly the best with our dog Astrid. We were thankful she took the time to come meet Astrid before their first walk and had plenty of treats (that won Astrid really quickly)! Jenny was amazing with communications and reached out when she had questions. She took some of the best pictures of Astrid and I always looked forward to seeing Astrid's post walk card of where they went and what she go up to. Thank you sooooo much Jenny! We appreciate you more than you know.

Kaylee is absolutely wonderful! Getting her as our dog walker has quite literally changed our whole world as far as our dogs behavior is concerned. Solo no longer pees in the house when we are gone at work, he is much more pleasant to walk and doesn’t pull nearly as much, and he is just a happier dog! We jokingly refer to her as his “girlfriend”, and he just seems to be so excited to see her for his walks. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you!

Kelli was one of our first experiences with Rover, and we were pretty nervous about having someone we didn’t know take care of our sweet baby, Bruce. From the start, Kelli was amazing! She set up a meet and greet, and we could immediately tell she was a great fit. We also had a phone call beforehand to go over the details, and she was fantastic—by the end of it, all my nerves were completely gone. Bruce absolutely loves Kelli, and she did an incredible job keeping him active and tiring him out—which is no easy task! I would 100% recommend Kelli to my friends.

Erin has walked my dog River a few times now while I am at work. She’s always very timely, gives quick and positive reviews of their walk, and is overall very responsive. I trust her walking my dog, who can sometimes be reactive on a leash. It is comforting to know that she has good control of my dog and understands certain triggers to avoid. I am super pleased with Erin so far and look forward to many more walks with our sweet dog!
