About: I would love to foster a senior dog soon, but since traveling the last year; the next best thing is helping you with your special babes! I have a flexible schedule so I’m available to work with yours. Weekdays or weekends are both options. Last minute help is available also. About: Having grown up with both dogs and cats, I have always held a place in my heart for our fur-friends! Spent a number of years volunteering at animal shelters as a web photographer and dog walker before becoming employed as a media spokesperson and marketing coordinator for the shelter. Was trained in the Turken Training for Adoption method by Brian Kilcommons, and can handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, as well as cats, birds, horses, donkeys, rabbits, and even pet rats! Having lost my heart-dog in 2023, I've been taking my time before adding a new fur-baby to the family. Instead I'm offering my time as a pet-sitter and dog-walker! I mostly work from home, but I do spend a few hours a week working at an athletic club (free membership!) and I sing in a band that gigs about twice a week. So while I spend more time home than away, I do have a varied yet flexible schedule. My long-time significant other, Mike, can usually be relied upon if my schedule ever gets too wonky! Any pets that I care for will be handled according to their owner's needs: whether it's in my home or the owner's, I require a full run-down of what's permitted (crating needs/furniture allowances/permissible food), and I also require all pets to be up-to-date on vaccinations, medications and flea preventions. When in my care, they will be kept on leash when outside the home (unless they are in a fenced backyard). I will not take them to dog parks, rather we will go to open spaces and dog-friendly patios, where they will remain on leash. Unless otherwise noted, they would have full access to the house and furniture as there are no other pets currently in my home.

Pam came over to spend some time with Loki Wednesday morning. Pam and my husband, Jim, walked Loki up to the park and Pam had the opportunity to walk Loki on her own. Jim said Loki was very responsive to Pam and Pam was confident and comfortable with Loki. Loki is a rescue we adopted about 7 months ago. He is very shy and slow to warm up to new people. Yesterday was the 3rd time Loki has met Pam and Jim and I could not be happier with how he is taking to Pam. Pam is very gentle and reassuring with Loki. We are so appreciative of the time and attention Pam is willing to give Loki before she cares for him for an extended period.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
