About: Pets have always been in my life. Experience with puppies to seniors, and shy and outgoing personalities. Can administer medication, playtime, walks, and offer companionship. I have a semi flexible work schedule, with evenings being completely free. Please let me know if there is a specific feeding schedule or if visit times are flexible. Respect and safety is my top priority. I am comfortable securing doors and crates and will treat your home and pets better than my own.
“Cara was great with our dogs. She made sure everything went as we wanted, and sent plenty of pictures to show how happy the pups were. I would recommend Cara to anyone, and look forward to using her in the future!”
“Shannah is amazing! We have never met but I completely trust her coming into my home and walking my babies. I know they are being cared for well when I’m at work thanks to Shannah!”

About: I’ve cared for animals for most of my life and currently have a German Shepherd I’ve raised since she was a puppy. She’s almost 7 now, and through her medical emergencies and recovery I’ve gained experience being patient, attentive, and caring with pets during stressful situations. I also have two cats that I’ve had since they were kittens and have owned cats since I was a child. I regularly help take care of my brother’s dogs when they’re out of town, including feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and love going on dog walks and giving pets attention and companionship. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide dependable care and attention for your pets. I enjoy incorporating dog walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins into my daily routine. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and pet care throughout the week and enjoy making sure pets feel comfortable, active, and cared for while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone caring for your pets, and I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and attention. I have a backyard for dogs to enjoy outdoor time and make sure pets are always supervised and comfortable. My cats have their own scratch posts, cozy spaces, and lots of attention, and I believe pets deserve a safe and loving environment. I always try to follow each pet owner’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and making sure pets feel secure and relaxed while in my care.

About: What sets me apart is my strong background working in people-focused, high-responsibility environments. As both a teacher and a collegiate volleyball official, I’m dependable, attentive, patient, and comfortable managing a variety of situations calmly and confidently. I understand the importance of routines, communication, and creating a safe and positive environment—whether that’s for students, athletes, or pets. I genuinely love animals and enjoy being active, so I’m happy to provide long walks, playtime, and lots of attention and companionship. Since I’m currently on summer break from teaching, I also have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and care they deserve. While I do not have formal professional pet care experience yet, I have experience caring for and walking my own dog, as well as spending time with and helping care for family and friend's dogs. I’m very comfortable around animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. My background as a teacher and collegiate volleyball official has also made me extremely responsible, dependable, communicative, and attentive to routines and safety. I can take dogs on long walks, provide plenty of love and attention, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you are away. I understand the importance of maintaining routines, following instructions carefully, and keeping open communication with pet owners. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease.
About: From growing up in a “zoo” of dogs, cats, reptiles and more, to now caring after a sweet angel of my own. Animals have always been a central part of my life and now I’m looking for the opportunity to extend that care to other pets as well! I’m currently saving up for a trip abroad so I have ample free time to meet any pet needs. Flexible hours make me a great fit for those with busy schedules of their own. My “Blue” dog and I spend as much time as we can get exploring the trail behind our neighborhood, and recently I’ve been exploring more natural diet options. Taking the time to prepare meals for the both of us, in addition to lazing about the house, has led to an amazing companionship. Walks are a must with this ball of energy, so working with Rover will be a sensible add-on.
About: I grew up in a dog loving family and have had the joy of raising two dogs of my own from young pups to gentle seniors. While I don’t currently have a dog, I’ve spent years boarding pets for friends and family — and their pups are always excited to come back. My home is calm, cozy, and full of attention, and I treat every dog like they’re part of the family. I can’t wait to meet your sweet pup! I am free and flexible during the week and weekends and can customize for any experience your dog may need. I love to be outside and would enjoy taking walks with your pet! I have a large yard with a 6-foot fence all around. The neighborhood has plenty of options for walks and trails. My home also has a doggie door as optional access to the yard.
“Coleen is an amazing person and a great friend to my 14 year old pup, Woody. So lucky to have found her. She’s very reliable and her rates are very reasonable. I will definitely use her again in the future. She left me a sweet card and treats for Woody today. So thoughtful!!!”
About: I've been taking care of dogs and puppies since I was little! I had a 105 lb Old English Sheepdog, so I'm very comfortable with big and small dogs! I can go on long, intense walks with hyper puppers or slow, sniff every plant walks! I am currently a college student with a very free schedule! I frequently beg my friends and family to let me take care of their fuzzy friends, and I am available all the time! I do extensive research to make sure every pet has the best care! I follow directions about where pets are allowed to be within the home to make sure everything stays the same as you left it! There will be a lot of outside play time (if it's not too hot) as well as pets and snuggles. I will keep their routine going and make sure they stay happy and healthy!
“You will not find a more caring, reliable, supportive, and all around fantastic person to care for your pets! Jenni is an absolute delight who routinely goes above and beyond to help me and my dogs out. She genuinely cares and her kindness and warmth radiate from her notes and messages. We are so lucky to have found her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Southglenn
Sydney has been so helpful! We had to urgently switch our daycare for our pup and she is so good about taking our dog out for a long walk and even hangs out with her for a bit to get her acclimated back in the house afterwards. Would highly recommend her for your pet care needs!

Kelli was one of our first experiences with Rover, and we were pretty nervous about having someone we didn’t know take care of our sweet baby, Bruce. From the start, Kelli was amazing! She set up a meet and greet, and we could immediately tell she was a great fit. We also had a phone call beforehand to go over the details, and she was fantastic—by the end of it, all my nerves were completely gone. Bruce absolutely loves Kelli, and she did an incredible job keeping him active and tiring him out—which is no easy task! I would 100% recommend Kelli to my friends.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
