Pet care experience

Experienced, calm and caring

I grew up in a dog loving family and have had the joy of raising two dogs of my own from young pups to gentle seniors. While I don’t currently have a dog, I’ve spent years boarding pets for friends and family — and their pups are always excited to come back. My home is calm, cozy, and full of attention, and I treat every dog like they’re part of the family. I can’t wait to meet your sweet pup!

Pam took wonderful care of our dog! She provided him with daily walks and play, loving company, and even made him homemade treats! She’s reliable and a great communicator. We would absolutely use Pam again and highly recommend her!

Pam took such wonderful care of our golden retriever, Hutch. Making him frozen frosty paws to keep him cool in the heat and homemade treats! Went out of her way to get more food for him when I miscalculated and didn’t pack enough. Daily walks and lots of play time in the backyard. Communication was great, 1-2 photos and video messages a day. Would highly recommend and will be using again!

Dog Walking • Jul 10, 2026

Pam came over to spend some time with Loki Wednesday morning. Pam and my husband, Jim, walked Loki up to the park and Pam had the opportunity to walk Loki on her own. Jim said Loki was very responsive to Pam and Pam was confident and comfortable with Loki. Loki is a rescue we adopted about 7 months ago. He is very shy and slow to warm up to new people. Yesterday was the 3rd time Loki has met Pam and Jim and I could not be happier with how he is taking to Pam. Pam is very gentle and reassuring with Loki. We are so appreciative of the time and attention Pam is willing to give Loki before she cares for him for an extended period.

We felt SO at ease with Pam watching our two pups in our home while we were away! She provided consistent updates, and went out of her way to accommodate their unique needs and personalities. 10/10 recommend.

Drop-In Visits • Jun 19, 2026

I think we were all very pleased with how the 2nd meeting went. At the first meeting Loki was interested and curious but slow in assessing Pam. At our second meeting, Pam and Loki played with one of Loki's favorite toys in the backyard while my husband and I stayed out of the way on the patio. It helped break the ice between them and then when we visited on the patio afterward Loki gravitated more to Pam and even let her pet him and he gave her some love. All very encouraging. We all agreed it would be helpful to schedule a few more similar sessions. It's a slow process but, this time was very encouraging. We really appreciate Pam's patience and gentleness with Loki.

Pamela was fantastic with our dog, Teddy. She updated us frequently with pictures and videos during our trip and was so kind and caring. We couldn't recommend her enough!
