I’m a lifelong dog lover. Caring for your animals and ensuring their happiness and health is my prerogative. I’ve potty trained puppies, administered meds and treatments, soothed anxious dogs, and have senior dog care experience. It’s important to me to have great communication and of course making sure to send pictures of your pups while you’re away. I’m an avid hiker and always looking for a new dog to join me. My dog Mikko is a pyrenees mix and she is friends with everyone. She’s happy in her crate if you’d like her to be separated when we can’t keep an eye on everyone.

Madeleine is one of the kindest, most trustworthy, and responsible people I know. She genuinely loves animals and treats every pet as if they were her own. She has watched our dog, Palmer, many times, and we always have complete peace of mind knowing he is in her care. She is attentive, caring, and makes sure he gets plenty of love, attention, exercise, and everything he needs while we’re away. I would highly recommend Madeleine to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and trustworthy to watch their pets. Any pet would be lucky to have her!

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time and have lots of time and resources to care for my own dog as well as others. My dog, Mikko, is very active and requires walks and playtime, so it’s already part of my routine.

My townhouse complex is across the street from a park where I walk my dog every day. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but we do have an outside area right outside where we walk our dog on potty breaks. My place is very dog friendly. Mikko and other dogs are allowed on all furniture. Your dog is sure to be safe in my home. I don’t take the responsibility of pet care lightly. Pets are family and I would treat your dog with the same level of care, empathy, and compassion.

A typical day
I have lots of what I call “treat books” that look like food menus and I’ll stuff them with treats for a fun and challenging activity. Mikko adores the park across the street from me, so we go at least once a day for a walk and to play fetch. Every weekend I take Mikko on a hike.

- I want to make sure your dog feels safe. It would be great to know ahead of time anything that could make your dog anxious and how to best comfort them. I have experience with pets that have separation anxiety, storm anxiety, and sensitivity around other dogs. The most important thing to me is keeping all dogs safe and feeling secure. I’d also love to know about medications that need to be administered or allergies to ensure I keep your pet happy and healthy.
