I promise to cherish your pet like I cherish mine! I'm very flexible when it comes to pet sitting. About: I have pet sit for a variety of dogs over the years! I have also spent the last three years working at a dog day care so I have lots of experience working with dogs, reading body language, acting quick in situations, and more. I am also currently studying Animal Science at college. While at school I am in two clubs. One involves me working with and pet sitting service dogs in training. The other club is an animal volunteer club where I spend 2-3 days a week volunteering at cat and dog shelters. I currently am working full time at a dog day care I work 5 days a week for about 6-8 hours! I spend multiple hours everyday surrounded by tons of different breeds of dogs! At my work and home I spend a lot time to give the dogs a healthy, safe, and fun environment. I like to make sure the dogs are well enriched throughout the day and spend engaging time with them. I always make sure they are feed on time and always have freshwater. I also give all dogs I am around tons of attentions so they know how loved they are!
About: I’ve never experienced life without a dog, I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. At 5 years old I insisted on marrying our family boxer named Rulon, I have the picture to prove it! 😝 I believe that loving and respecting pets is of utmost importance. I have experience with purebred and shelter/rescue dogs. I have also taken a basic dog training class I currently host events and bartend at the Denver Aquarium which grants me a very flexible work schedule. When working I’m typically gone for 4-6 hours a day I have a big backyard with a doggy door, tall fences and a park across the street. I treat dogs as family, they are invited to sit on the couch and sleep in bed with me. I’m also comfortable kenneling if need be.
