A typical day
I leave it up to the owners typically to decide what they would like to do, but I will play with the pets and make sure they get enriched from the visit. My favorite part about this job is hanging with with animals and appealing to each one for their unique interests

Pet care experience
This is my 3rd year caring for pets on Rover, as well as being a regular volunteer with animal shelters across Denver! Most of my experience has been with reactive, anxious, and shy pets. I can walk dogs of all breeds and sizes, and care for cats of all activity levels- from hiding under the bed shy to velcro pets! I have my own dog who I am absolutely obsessed with, and I can’t wait to help take care of your pets too.

Mckenzie was great with our dogs! She was very kind, reliable, and so sweet with our pups. We felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands, and they were very happy and well cared for.
Absolutely wonderful. McKenzie did such a wonderful job. She always replied super fast. She was so easy to deal with and adjusted to changes. Our cats loved. So great to trust they were will cared for.
