Pet care experience
WFH Engineer | 1 Pup at a Time 🐶💛
‼️Currently only able to do Drop-Ins & Walks 2PM or later M-F. This does not apply to weekend availability for Drop-Ins & Walks or other services ‼️Please review and ensure your dog meets all Boarding Requirements below prior to sending a Boarding Request 🐾 Experience 🐾 I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years and have many years of hands-on experience as a devoted dog mom myself before my pup passed. I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, and I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments—from playful, high-energy pups to dogs who need a calmer pace and extra reassurance. I treat every dog like my own—making sure they get the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and rest, while always prioritizing their safety and comfort. I also recently lost my dog, Mia, who was truly my best friend. Caring for her, especially through kidney disease, gave me extensive experience with senior and medical care, including administering daily medications and subcutaneous fluids for over six months. That time reinforced how important patience, consistency, and close attention are, and I’m very comfortable following detailed care instructions and routines. After losing my Mia, I genuinely miss the company and would love the opportunity to care for your pet like my own❤️❤️ 🐾 Boarding Requirements🐾 For the safety, comfort, and happiness of all dogs in my care, please review and ensure your dog meets all Boarding Requirements below prior to sending a Boarding Request: ✅ Crate trained for times when I step out of the house ✅ House-trained ✅ Friendly with people and other dogs (no aggression, bite history, or severe reactivity) ✅ Up to date on vaccinations ✅ Must be on current flea/tick prevention ✅ No major medical issues ✅ Spayed/neutered ✅ Can be left alone for up to 6 hours (I am home full-time during the week, but typically spend one day of the weekend hiking or skiing) ✅ I live on the third floor of my apartment building with no elevator, so dogs must be able to go up & down the stairs themselves ✅ Meet & greet required for all new clients ✅ Drop-off and pick-up hours between 7am–7pm unless arranged in advance

Ratings and reviews
Emilee is the best sitter I’ve used on Rover and I’ve been using the app for 10 years. So thorough and such great communication and updates. I can tell my dog is so relaxed with her!

Dante had such a great stay with Emilee. Emilee is very communicative and sends updates on Dante so I can see what they’ve been up to which I appreciate a lot!

Emilee was amazing with Myla. She can be quite skittish and protest by not eating but not with Emilee! Her personalized attention to Myla’s quirky needs really put us at ease. The consistent communication and pics were a huge bonus.

Emilee was so good with my senior dog, and my cat who demanded her attention 😃 (she was booked to walk the dog). I will definitely ask her to take care of my two critters again.

Emilee was very helpful with a last-minute need for someone to take care of our dog for the day. Miles came back to us tired and happy.

Emilee was fantastic! She was so flexible with my changing plans and provided extremely consistent and frequent updates during my trip! You can tell she genuinely cares for her fur clients. Will definitely be back!!

Schedule
🐾Schedule🐾 I work from home full-time as an Aerospace Engineer, which allows me to be home throughout the day and very present with the dogs in my care. This means frequent potty breaks, regular walks, playtime, and lots of companionship rather than long periods alone. It also means I’m available during the week for routine drop in visits!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
🐾Safety, trust & environment🐾 As an Aerospace Engineer, I’m extremely detail-oriented and reliable, which naturally carries over into how I care for pets. I closely follow routines, feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any special care notes. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. I'm certified in Dog CPR & First Aid and very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy. If anything ever seems off, I'll contact you right away. Having trusted others with my own dog’s care, especially during treatment for kidney disease, I understand how meaningful that trust is. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. To support this, I only host one dog at a time, creating a calm, low-stress environment with highly personalized care and no risk of conflicts with unfamiliar dogs in the home.
A typical day
🐾Typical Day🐾 Because I WFH during the week, I’m able to give dogs in my care plenty of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day. Pups can relax near me, soak up the sun on my balcony, and enjoy pets and play breaks between meetings. I am also able to take them on walks during my lunch break and again after work. Weeknights after work are typically low-key. I’m usually cooking dinner, relaxing, or watching Netflix, so there’s plenty of time for cuddles, playtime, and extra love! On weekends, I have even more flexibility for quality time, longer walks, and extra play time. I typically spend one day hiking or skiing, but otherwise I'm home enjoying a cozy, relaxed weekend with your pup and making sure they get lots of attention, affection, and one-on-one care.
