“Very reliable! Even though Rover gave me the wrong service area, Steve still made the commitment to show up for Winston. I am so thankful and would highly recommend his services.”
About: I've been taking care of dogs and puppies since I was little! I had a 105 lb Old English Sheepdog, so I'm very comfortable with big and small dogs! I can go on long, intense walks with hyper puppers or slow, sniff every plant walks! I am currently a college student with a very free schedule! I frequently beg my friends and family to let me take care of their fuzzy friends, and I am available all the time! I do extensive research to make sure every pet has the best care! I follow directions about where pets are allowed to be within the home to make sure everything stays the same as you left it! There will be a lot of outside play time (if it's not too hot) as well as pets and snuggles. I will keep their routine going and make sure they stay happy and healthy!
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have cared for some of my friends and families animals. I really enjoy spending time with dogs and cats and would love to care for other animals as well. Im willing to care for pets of all ages. Looking forward to meeting you & your pets I have recently graduated so my schedule is quite open. Im flexible and can accommodate lots of needs. Im able to do more frequent visits or stay with the animals as long as needed. At this time i can only stay or visit in clients homes only. I currently live at home with my father and step mother. We have an adorable Karen terrier named Archy. He’s a fun and spunky little guy. Looking to come to you.
“Jenny was incredibly helpful stepping in last minute to walk Maya. She did a fantastic job — Maya came back happy and well-exercised. I really appreciated the pictures and detailed report she sent afterward, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend Jenny for anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog walker!”

About: Pets have always been in my life. Experience with puppies to seniors, and shy and outgoing personalities. Can administer medication, playtime, walks, and offer companionship. I have a semi flexible work schedule, with evenings being completely free. Please let me know if there is a specific feeding schedule or if visit times are flexible. Respect and safety is my top priority. I am comfortable securing doors and crates and will treat your home and pets better than my own.
About: I grew up in a dog loving family and have had the joy of raising two dogs of my own from young pups to gentle seniors. While I don’t currently have a dog, I’ve spent years boarding pets for friends and family — and their pups are always excited to come back. My home is calm, cozy, and full of attention, and I treat every dog like they’re part of the family. I can’t wait to meet your sweet pup! I am free and flexible during the week and weekends and can customize for any experience your dog may need. I love to be outside and would enjoy taking walks with your pet! I have a large yard with a 6-foot fence all around. The neighborhood has plenty of options for walks and trails. My home also has a doggie door as optional access to the yard.
“Shannah is amazing! We have never met but I completely trust her coming into my home and walking my babies. I know they are being cared for well when I’m at work thanks to Shannah!”

“Polina was excellent with walking my husky this week! Our pup has a personality and is very strong, but she fell right in line with Polina. Polina is great with dogs, clearly an animal lover! We will book with her again for sure!”

“Jenny has been a great and reliable walker for Sampson for about a year now. She's great to work with and tries to match Sampson's excitement level to burn some energy...he feels like running, she jogs with him! Sampson loves her!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Highlands Ranch
Katelyn has been walking our dog Amina for about two months now and has been fantastic. She is consistent, honest, amazing with Amina, patient and prepared! I'm so glad we decided to invest in her services to help us make sure Amina gets enough daily exercise!

Sydney has been so helpful! We had to urgently switch our daycare for our pup and she is so good about taking our dog out for a long walk and even hangs out with her for a bit to get her acclimated back in the house afterwards. Would highly recommend her for your pet care needs!

Kelli was one of our first experiences with Rover, and we were pretty nervous about having someone we didn’t know take care of our sweet baby, Bruce. From the start, Kelli was amazing! She set up a meet and greet, and we could immediately tell she was a great fit. We also had a phone call beforehand to go over the details, and she was fantastic—by the end of it, all my nerves were completely gone. Bruce absolutely loves Kelli, and she did an incredible job keeping him active and tiring him out—which is no easy task! I would 100% recommend Kelli to my friends.

Jamie was great with the dogs. He was faithful in walking them and he was diligent in protecting them. He made the special effort of working with the one dog who can become anxious and aggressive if she senses any aggressiveness in another dog. I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone who wants their dogs to be well cared for.

- 93% of walkers can help with special care needs

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
