“Janet was an amazing pet sitter for our high energy dog. Her house/yard are very cozy. Yard has enough room for dogs to play. She was very responsive and kept us updated. I would highly recommend using Janet!”

“Serena is amazing! My Cavapoo Chance loves staying with her. I am really pleased with the care he received. Serena was great with scheduling — very flexible when I needed to adjust times — and I could tell Chance was well looked after. Would definitely book again.”

“Mike was a fantastic sitter. He made sure to send updates every morning and night, with pictures. He has a great little family and they are super accommodating. My flight got cancelled due to a huge storm and ended up landing at 4am the next day. He allowed Moose to stay an extra night with no problems whatsoever and really made me feel comfortable about where my dog was while I was dealing with a super long night of travel. I would absolutely recommend”

“Emily and Andrew are amazing! My pup felt right at home with them. He loved playing in the yard and they sent lots of photos and videos. I don’t think he wanted to leave!”

“Jordan treated Greta like a princess! From hikes to lots of quality time, Jordan gave our dog the best weekend I could’ve ever asked for! 100% would recommend!”

“Barbara provided a loving home for our pup while we were away. She was responsive, communicative, and took excellent care of our girl. This freed us up to enjoy our time away knowing she was in such good care. We will be booking Barbara every time we need care in the future! Thank you again Barbara!”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Jeffrey to care for my dog, Charlie, and I couldn’t be more impressed. As a new sitter on Rover, Jeffrey exceeded all expectations, providing first-class care for my elderly dog, who requires a bit of extra attention as she’s aged. Jeffrey was extremely flexible and accommodating, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. He clearly has a genuine love for animals and made Charlie feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they met. It’s clear that Jeffrey pays close attention to the specific needs of each pet, ensuring they get the best possible care. I’ve been using Rover for years, and I can confidently say that Jeffrey is one of the best sitters I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible and caring sitter. I will definitely be using Jeffrey’s services again in the future!”

“Jennifer is an amazing pet sitter! I was so nervous dropping my puppy off to someone for the first time and she went photos and updates regularly and my pup clearly loved her as he was happy to go right back the next time I needed a dog sitter.”

“Kris and family took such good care of my little Bella. Allowing her to sleep on the bed if she wanted. I can tell she had a lovely time as she did not do her usual crazy “happy to see my mom dance” when we’ve been apart.”

“Tyler was super great to our one year old golden retriever. He kept him active and made him feel at home. Our dog had a great time and we would recommend him to anyone who wants a happy pup. Would definitely use his services again.”

“Teri was great! She was quick to respond every time I reached out. I requested that she send me a daily update and she did, without fail. My little girl got lots of cuddles and seemed to enjoy her time with Teri. I definitely feel comfortable having her watch my fur babies in the future.”

“Frank was great to work with and super flexible...all the 5 star ratings are well deserved. Got a tired and happy dog back when I returned to town. Thanks for everything!”

“Katie was the best ever at sending photo and video updates! Skye has never been so loved with snack-time, snuggles and smiles! This family made our puppy feel like one of the pack and I couldn’t be more grateful!”

“Amazing family amazing people just amazing I had to go in the mountains for work & couldn’t take my lil princess with me & they came through so fast and so easy. Always will be my go to when I’m in town .”

“Our pup had the best time with Heather and her pets! This was our first time boarding our 7 month old puppy and Heather was great at keeping us updated and making us feel super comfortable with leaving our puppy. Her puppy and ours became best friends, and had so much fun! We would definitely recommend and use Heather’s services again.”

“We can tell Pumpkin had such a great time staying with Renea and her family. They provided updates with pictures and videos throughout the stay. We really enjoyed our experience with them, and very grateful that they took such good care of Pumpkin!!”

“We recently left our dog, Toby, in the care of wonderful sitters Polly and Jeremy, we found through the Rover app for 22 nights. We couldn’t be happier with the experience! The sitters were extremely nice and maintained regular contact with us regarding Toby’s care, providing updates and photos that reassured us he was in great hands. Toby seemed to be happier than ever with the family, almost as if he was with us. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet sitters. Thank you for taking such great care of our furry friend!”

“Victoria & family were amazing! They cared for Palmer last minute over the holidays and our large puppy had a great time! We will always rebook with them in the future if available!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Highlands Ranch
Pam was great! She has a calm presence, and provides a comfortable, loving, safe environment for my senior Chihuahua. She took time to follow my directions, as my little one has meds and does best on a potty and feeding schedule, and even took her own notes. I'm at ease knowing Pam will be watching my dog for an upcoming trip.

Danielle and Jackson boarded my kitty for a few days and they were the best! They took such great care of her and made her feel at home, which is not an easy task because my kitty is very nervous. They are awesome communicators, sent lots of photos and videos and updates! Highly recommend them!

Victoria did a wonderful job taking care of our dog while we were out of town. Her, and her dog, Goose did a great job of keeping our boy entertained and safe. They have a large, beautiful backyard to get tons of playtime and exercise. Communication was excellent, with daily photos, videos and updates. Highly recommend!

David and Laura were very attentive, communicative and caring with my 2 yr old terrier. They are very comfortable with all dogs/ large and small and make the dog feel very at home in the home and yard which is perfectly set up for dog sitting! Highly highly recommend!

Deshaunne is wonderful! This my dog’s second time staying with her. Riley had a full on butt-wag when I dropped her off. The tail don’t lie. We’ve had awesome Rover sitters before but Deshaunne is the best. She takes your pup on a ton of walks and sends pictures throughout the stay. Anytime I’m heading out of town, I’m checking her availability to watch Riley first. Thank you!

Could not be more grateful to Heather and her family. Our giant pups had a wonderful staycation at their home. The girls were well taken care of, spent quality time outside walking and playing in the backyard, we received frequent updates and photos, and bonus, made a new pup friend! Look no further for a stellar sitter. We will not hesitate to rebook with Heather in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
