“Lily had a great time at Tasha's. Her and her family took great care of Lily. Spent time out in the backyard and them at night sitting together ad my dog is a couch potato. Very happy.”

“Karen and Gary are amazing! They are dog loving, kind hearted, and so thoughtful. My dog loves to stay with them so much she didn't even hesitate to say goodbye when I dropped her off. I will definitely book with them again!”

“Amy is wonderful and radiates such open, positive and friendly energy! Bentley was very comfortable during his week-long stay. We could tell this because his behavior with her matched his behavior at home. Amy sent such sweet photos and updates regularly, and we appreciated how eager she was to understand Bentley’s schedule and needs, as well as his quirks. We will absolutely look for an opening on Amy’s calendar the next time we need care. Thank you so much!”

“Kari was wonderful! We highly recommend! Our dog, Mabel, was a very happy dog all week and Kari was very communicative with us. She sent daily photos and updates. We could tell Mabel was treated like a member of Kari’s family! We will definitely use her again!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Heather made the whole process amazing! She watched my 2 dogs and one takes a while to warm up and she made him feel so comfortable that he snuggled with her all weekend! They got along great with her super friendly German Shepard. Overall, it was an amazing experience!”

“Peter and Michelle are amazing! My dog stayed with them 10 for days and we got photos and updates everyday. I truly felt that he was loved and cared for every second that we were gone. Honestly, I think my pup was sad to come home. 10/10 recommend! Thank you guys again!!”

“Luiza was great. Our dog Paige is very easy going and mellow though very much a homebody. She has a difficult time relaxing in new environments. Luiza made it as easy as possible for Paige. Very accommodating, easy to work with, and has a great dog who was also very good with Paige. I would absolutely recommend Luiza.”

“Our dog had a great time with Lauren’s family. They took great care of him and he was immediately treated as a member of their family. We’d definitely use Lauren again!”

“Oanh was fantastic! She was very flexible with my flights, allowing my dogs to stay an extra night, and communicated with me through my entire stay. Her family treated my dogs like their own, and I’m sure my dogs LOVED their children! The pictures and video edits of my dogs were AWESOME! Super cool to see someone love helping others! I will 1000% be scheduling with Oanh and her family again!”

“The backyard is huge and your dog will come home happy and exhausted. I’ve never had a pet sitter who took such loving care of my dog. Danielle communicates effectively and sends lots of pictures. She is a great choice for the next time you need someone to care for your pet.”

“We can't say enough good things about Max's stay with Heather! We were gone for two weeks overseas and Heather gave us peace of mind knowing Max was doing well in her care. With updates and pictures, we could see Max thriving especially with her cat, which he hadn't really been around before. They were actually quite funny together. We will use Heather again.”
“Renea and her family were the best sitters I could ever ask for. Not only did they take good care of Punkin, they went above and beyond what I had for expectations of a Rover dog sitter. Renea sent warm pictures and videos and texts of her experience with Punkin. You could tell that there was true kindness expressed toward my dog. She gave me confidence that Punkin was well taken care of and Renea eliminated any anxiety that I had for leaving my dog in her care. Their dog Cooper was also a great asset to Punkin as they became close friends during her 9 day stay. I so much will look forward to using Renae on my next trip out of town. Renea is the best!”

“My experience with them was amazing and couldn’t have asked for any other than them , they took very good care of Astro and he was loved , taken care of like their own and made me feel at ease when I was away on vacation, they updated everyday about his activities and loved it , I would definitely recommend them to everyone, I felt so happy that I picked them for Astro , he loved them and missed them when he got back home too !!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Highlands Ranch
Thank you David and Laura for always taking such great care of our Goldendoodle Lambeau. We appreciate the great pictures of play time with the other dogs and him galloping around your yard. After a week with you our energetic pup is exhausted, we can’t thank you enough for the great care you give him.

Tami was super sweet and caring! She sent us lots of pictures and updates, and our pup looked so happy and comfortable. Our dog usually has separation anxiety and doesn’t eat on the first day, so we were pleasantly surprised that she ate right away. It was clear she was in great hands. Would definitely book her again!

Amy is wonderful and radiates such open, positive and friendly energy! Thank you so much!

Heather and her whole family (including their dog Ben) were amazing with my pup!!! He had such a great experience and didn't want to leave. I so appreciate their kindness and professionalism, can't express it adequately in words. I will definitely be using their service again!

Ryan is incredibly caring and contacted us when our dog Booker was not eating (which he tends to do even with us.) I was impressed with his willingness to be flexible and adjust to make our dog more comfortable. I was hugely appreciative of his communication as we worked to help our dog feel more comfortable in our absence. Treats helped! And Ryan and his son played Hide and Seek with Booker and finally got a little more comfortable. We were also happy to see that another sitter we use on Rover takes her own dog to Ryan. We will definitely use Ryan again and appreciate his gentle care.

Eduardo was great with Snow, especially for helping us out with a last-minute boarding request. He was responsive, accommodating, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Really appreciate him being available on short notice and taking good care of Snow. Would definitely recommend Eduardo!
Danielle and Jackson boarded my kitty for a few days and they were the best! They took such great care of her and made her feel at home, which is not an easy task because my kitty is very nervous. They are awesome communicators, sent lots of photos and videos and updates! Highly recommend them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
