I grew up in a home with two vet specialists and have had all types of animals in my life since I was a baby. When I was 13 I started ‘working’ at my parents veterinary hospital, during college I was also a foster mom for animals until they found their forever home, and spent some time working at dogtopia.

Daira has been around pets her whole life. She grew up with cats and dogs and horses and rabbits, helping to care for all of them. She also volunteered part time during the summers and holidays working at a veterinary hospital where she honed her skills in proper and gentle handling as well as general care. Daira is a smart and caring person with a life time of experience in caring for and handling pets. I would recommend her without reservation for pet sitting and dog walking.

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I take my 65-pound dog on 2–3 walks daily and have ample time for potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and companionship.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, so I am able to let dogs out if they don’t need a long walk. My neighborhood also has trails connected to it, so if your dog enjoys long walks, I can easily accommodate. I currently have one indoor cat and one dog.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning potty break and breakfast, followed by a long walk. Since I work from home, pets get plenty of attention throughout the day, including outdoor breaks, play time, and lots of affection. Depending on each pet's personality and energy level, we'll enjoy walks around the neighborhood, games of fetch or tug, and relaxing cuddle time. I'll also stick to your pet's normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and at home while you're away.
