Gaby works from home, loves walks (sometimes runs) in the Highlands Ranch trails and nearby mountains. Between picking up the kids at 3 pm and taking them to activities, in the afternoons, we are in and out, but we spend mornings and evenings at home and we are used to walking the dogs in the morning, mid day and then at night. During weekends, we love taking the dogs with us to nature wherever we go, if they’re game. If they’re not, we all can chill at home. We are flexible but dogs are part of our lives.

Information Gabriela T. would like to know about your pet

It’s very helpful if you bring a measuring cup or container so I know the individual portion of food you usually give your dog. Let me know their sleeping routine (in their crate, your bed, their bed, treat before bed, etc) so I can maintain it. If you have medication, please write down instructions so I know when and what to administer them. Thanks!

A typical day

On a typical day, the dogs get a quick pee outing after our morning coffee. Then, they chill for about an hour, so parents can take kids to school, and then we go for a long hour walk around the neighborhood trails or parks. After their breakfast, they get their bellies rubbed and usually chill while we work. At about 4 pm, the kids come home and play and we all walk the dog again a couple of times before and/or after dinner. Usually, a play session with balls, toys or treats gets everyone hungry! Right before bed, the dog goes for a short pee walk to avoid accidents and have a peaceful sleep.

A family for your dog!

Pet care experience

We are a family of dog lovers. We’ve had dogs all our lives and have raised them from puppies to their senior years. Our home includes Ryker, our sweet and social three-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who loves having new dog friends over. We live in a three-level townhouse with a dog bed in every level, a sunny balcony and a fenced patio where dogs can relax, sunbathe and play safely. Siena is 10 and she walks dogs for our neighbors and volunteers at the Denver animal shelter. Luca is 13 and will play with dogs like he’s one of them. He especially loves big playful dogs with floppy cheeks. Mom (Gaby) and Dad (Scott) have experience with Rhodesian Ridgebacks, boxers and chihuahuas. We’ve taken gentle discipline dog training and are comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels and communication styles. We love sharing our home with visiting dogs and giving them plenty of affection, structure and play. Ryker is friendly and well socialized, and he enjoys having guests. We’d love the chance to care for your dog! If this is your first time with Rover, make sure you use the code GABRIT97576 to save $20 (https://www.rover.com/sit/gabrit97576)

Gabriela took care of Zola superbly. She was very communicative and treated Zola like family over the holidays. I really appreciated Gabriela's willingness to do play dates before the visit to ensure Zola was comfortable with the family and their dog. Would definitely love to have Zola be taken care of by Gabriela and her family again!
