“Paige was beyond great! Milo is an anxious dog, and I’m an anxious dog owner, and Paige and her family made sure to make both of us feel comfortable! She took him on lots of walks and Milo seemed to really form a bond with Paige. Looking forward to using Paige again!”

“We felt confident while we were on our trip that our Augie was well cared for. Joie and Jason have a nice, calm environment, great for senior dogs like Augie. They sent pictures that assured us our boy was happy.”

“My dog had the absolute best time with Kristy and Nathan! He came home very happy and tired from lots of play time and some walks. They were very responsive to messages and kept me updated throughout his stay. I would definitely let them watch my dog again.”

“Lindsey & Daniel were great!! I get so anxious and nervous leaving my fur baby, but I had absolutely no worry leaving Wyatt with them! They are so loving and caring and took great care of my doggo. They sent me lots of updates and photos. He was so happy staying with them. He received lots of playtime and cuddles. Will definitely be using them again going forward! I highly recommend Lindsey & Daniel!”

“They took such great care of our dog and sent so many adorable updates every day. Their communication was great and we could tell our girl was happy, comfortable, and so well taken care of!”

“Finding someone you truly trust with your pet is challenging, but Brian and Laura treat my dog like a member of their family. They adhere to her daily schedule of walks, medication and play time so she is following the same routine as if she was home, and their daily updates and pictures give me peace of mind that my pup is safe and happy in their care. I will definitely book with them again.”

“Erik was amazing! Took good care of Prince and even updated us frequently on anything and everything! Prince seemed to have a great time too. Will contact Erik again in the future! Thanks again!”
“Jordan took care of our fur babies while we were out of the country. She shared daily pictures and provided updates that helped mom and dad feel good knowing they were in fantastic hands. Our fur babies love her and that tells me she loved on them and cared for them like they were her own. She was wonderful to them! Thank YOU, Jordan!!”

“We had such a great experience with Niki & Josh! They were incredibly flexible with both drop-off and pick-up, which made everything so easy for us. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos, it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Most importantly, our dog came home clearly very well taken care of. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again!”

“Brooke and Nathan were great! They were super accommodating for a last-minute request! They made me feel comfortable from our first meeting. I highly recommend!”

“This is my second time my pup has stayed with Mary and when I got her out of the car she ran straight up to her door waiting to see Mary and she doesn't exactly love me leaving her anywhere but she definitely loves her time with Mary. She is a high needs dog, 13 yr old, tripod, who gets speciality food that has to be prepared each meal (not just peeing kibble in her bowl), gets different supplements for each meal, and she nails it every time. I am so grateful we found her. Just don't book her too much so we can't book her! ;)”

“Emily was awesome! She sent a ton of Buddy update pics while we were gone and he definitely looked like a happy camper chilling in her backyard. I would 100% recommend Emily for your little pupper if you are ever needing a sitter.”

“Nelson was great with Bucket! Bucket loved being home with someone and having the patio to hangout on. Nelson was very flexible with flight delays and working with me on pickup and drop off times. Definitely would recommend!”

“Max had the time of his life - again! Margaret and Mike are the very best care takers anyone could ask for. Let’s not forget Ella, she puts up with my crazy dog in her face all the time and never get angry. So happy I found M&M.”

“Ryan and Punam are responsive, friendly, and communicative. Their warm, calming energy is perfect for our anxious pup- he was at home with them right away and we’re so grateful!!! We will definitely be booking with these wonderful people in the future ☺️”

“Oahn was lovely! Very friendly, had a nice house that i'm sure my dog enjoyed, and her children were SO excited to see my pup! I'd be happy to have her babysit my dog again.”

Stephanie took incredible care of our dog, Winston. She sent multiple photos and updates every day, so we felt totally at ease. Winston had a great time, stayed active, and was well supervised while playing with other dogs. We came back to a happy, relaxed pup, and will definitely book with her again!

Heather was wonderful with my five month old puppy! She sent me photos almost every day and was gracious about his normal stage of development (not completely housebroken). He was relaxed and happy after his stay and acted exactly the same as he did when I dropped him off. Goofy, fun and sweet. Grateful for her care and will definitely ask her to watch my new best fur-friend again.

Jacquelyn is the ultimate dog sitter - she gave Echo so much attention, care and love. She sent multiple photos and wonderful comments daily. We appreciated the updates knowing our doggo was happy and well cared for - enjoying her many walks, timely feedings, hugs and scratches that Jackie bestowed on her. I could tell that Jackie was organized, observant and a passionate devoted dog lover and sitter. She did a great job caring for Echo while we were out of town. She earned our trust and we will use her again and again to watch our Girl. Thank you Jackie

Ariana and her family were simply amazing, loving and so good with our pups! Our boy loves to play ball and they didn’t disappoint him, they played with him all the time! We received updates and pictures to stay informed, they were spoiled and well-loved by Ariana and her family! I would highly recommend anyone choose this family to love on your pets!

Jessica was wonderful. We did a meet and greet before hand. Jessica was super accommodating, giving us confidence that Shay was in good hands for the weekend. She provided updates and photos. I recommend Jessica to everyone looking for a reliable, kind person to watch your dog.

Cami and her daughter were awesome. We were very impressed with how Cami responded the very first time we contacted her. She understood our concerns and was quick to respond to all messages. During Pebbles' stay she sent plenty of photos and updates. Overall, we were extremely happy with Cami and her lovely daughter.

As always, Roxie loved her stay with Heatherlyn. She had many walks, car rides and trips to starbucks for a pup cup! I loved the multiple videos and pictures that Heatherlyn sends to us so I know what Roxie and friends are up to. We could not ask for a better dog sitter!
Aiden was great! He was available same day for a meet and greet, and Leia liked him immediately. He watched her a couple days later for over a week. I received daily updates including pictures. He even went so far as to buy her a toy because I forgot to pack hers! I highly recommend Aiden.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
