I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always loved them! Growing up with family dogs gave me a lot of experience caring for them at all ages. Our corgi is now 14 so he is In his senior years and I love him so much. I’m great with both energetic puppies and older good boys who need a little extra care and patience. I also pay a great deal of attention to detail and am dedicated to following even the most specific instructions. Your dog’s routine stays consistent and you stay stress-free. What sets me apart is that I work part time, which means your dog will rarely be left alone and will get plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m also experienced with nervous or skittish dogs and take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and safe. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, or just extra cuddles, I’ll treat your dog like my own and ensure they’re happy and well cared for while you’re away.

Laura was wonderful with our two cats. They can be quite shy and cautious around new people, so we were a little concerned about how they would adjust. Laura was incredibly patient, gentle, and caring with them. She took the time to understand their personalities and routines and gave them a calm, comfortable environment. We really appreciated how responsible and attentive she was throughout their stay. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our cats were in good hands. We really appreciate the daily updates and photos, and would absolutely recommend Laura to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter. Laura took great care of our cat, Barsik, for three weeks while we were away. She sent us photos, and Barsik always looked relaxed, happy, and comfortable, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. I can do mornings or evenings. Open to sitting through out the day or evening walks! I have a very open flexible schedule at the moment!

I have a one bedroom apartment that is super pet friendly. Just outside the apartment is George Wallace park and area has a great collection of other walking trails nearby! I live in the DTC area which is a super safe, accessible and walkable area.
A typical day
A typical day with me as your dog sitter is full of love, care, and fun! The day starts with a morning walk through the neighborhood or on nearby trails to help your pup burn some energy and get some fresh air. If they’re an active dog, we might play fetch or tug-of-war in my apartments outdoor area, which has plenty of room for running and playing. For dogs who prefer a slower pace, we’ll enjoy leisurely strolls or some relaxing time outside in the grass. Throughout the day, I make sure to follow your dog’s regular routine, whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, administering medications, or scheduling potty breaks. Midday activities could include a trip to a local park, interactive play with toys, or a puzzle game to keep them mentally stimulated. For dogs who enjoy cuddling, we’ll unwind in the living room where they can curl up next to me while I work or we watch Netflix together Evenings are just as relaxed and fun. After dinner, we might head out for another walk or spend more time in the outdoors for one last play session before winding down. I make sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, and care so they feel safe and happy while you’re away!

- Communication is vital. Your dog is a member of the family and I want to know anything that will make their stay with me a good experience for everyone. Their diet and routine, their likes and dislikes, their favorite spot to be scratched. I want to know it all. I welcome and encourage detailed instructions and will follow them to the letter. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend ?
