“Amy was the perfect sitter! She sent multiple daily updates, followed our instructions, and gave Panda plenty of exercise on walks in the neighborhood and play in her fenced-in backyard. We would feel super comfy leaving our pup with Amy again. Thank you!!”

“Sid took excellent care of my senior pup Finn. She sincerely cared about making my anxious boy comfortable, sent daily updates and photos. Her cats got along great with Finn too. Thank you, Sid and Joe!”

“Kadin, his wife, and two dogs were perfect home away from home for our two big friendly dogs. They have a big yard and two dogs who love to play, so it was a perfect match with ours! During this sit, we had a medical emergency, and they were accommodating with quick scheduling, drops offs, and everything we needed to get our dogs care during a medical crisis. We appreciate them greatly and highly recommend them to other families.”

“Despite the last-minute booking, Su took wonderful care of Claire and treated her with great kindness. She sent me many photos of Claire every day, which gave me peace of mind. If I have the opportunity again, I would definitely like to ask her to take care of Claire again.”

“Erik was amazing! Took good care of Prince and even updated us frequently on anything and everything! Prince seemed to have a great time too. Will contact Erik again in the future! Thanks again!”
“Jen was incredibly accommodating in having the flexibility to watch our pup when we went into labor. She kept us in the loop and was able to extend the boarding when we had to unexpectedly stay away longer. She gave us great peace of mind that our first baby (our pup) was being well cared for so we could focus on having our new baby. We greatly appreciate all her support and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Traci was FANTASTIC! She shared pictures and updates about our Scout! Her yard is very well taken care of and completely fenced in! We were very worried at first to leave our Scout, but Traci made us feel wonderful about picking her! HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“I really can't say enough about how truly wonderful Brenda is. I have never felt so at ease leaving my baby girl with anyone. She communicates daily on your dog, sends the cutest little update videos and pictures. Lilah looked so happy with her and I am so grateful for Brenda's help and care for Lilah. ❤️❤️”

“LaDonna was amazing with Guinness. It was his first time with a sitter. I was nervous, but she took great care of him and sent me lots and lots of photos, videos and updates to ease my mind. I highly recommend her!”

“Michelle and her family were amazing! She kept us updated, was very flexible, and gave our dog so much attention and love! Teddy can’t wait for us to go on another vacation so he can stay there again!”

“Niki is always amazing. She always communicates everything with us and she was so understanding and generous when we experienced flight delays. I have complete peace of mind when Luna is with her.”

“Mary Jo is amazing! Our girl was treated like family, and we enjoyed the photo updates. We’re so glad to have have found her, and look forward to booking another stay for our pup again soon.”

“This was the first time we left our two dogs. Teresa was so great with both dogs. She is a natural with dogs; her caring and gentle manners helped with one of our dogs who was anxious. She went above and beyond to help with the stay. We received daily messages, videos, and photos of the adventures they were up to. By the end of the two-week stay, our dogs loved her! We highly recommend Teresa and plan to use her again.”

“We were thankful to leave Bentley in Robert and Diane’s care and have him be at ease. Robert and Diane are very responsive, kind, attentive, organized and have a lovely backyard. We received photos which was so appreciated. Bentley was obviously comfortable and happy. Thank you kindly!”

Renea and Dave were great with Bella! This was the first time she stayed with them so I was a little bit worried about how she would react. She is a young dog with a lot of energy and they played with her to use up some of that energy! They sent photos and videos which showed me how much fun she was having and eased my mind. I am very happy that I chose to leave her with Renea and Dave and I will book with them again!

Jessica was wonderful. We did a meet and greet before hand. Jessica was super accommodating, giving us confidence that Shay was in good hands for the weekend. She provided updates and photos. I recommend Jessica to everyone looking for a reliable, kind person to watch your dog.

Cami and her daughter were awesome. We were very impressed with how Cami responded the very first time we contacted her. She understood our concerns and was quick to respond to all messages. During Pebbles' stay she sent plenty of photos and updates. Overall, we were extremely happy with Cami and her lovely daughter.

Robert and Diane were absolutely phenomenal! We adopted Bean, two years ago, and she definitely is not the easiest dog. They took Bean in, qwerks and all, with open arms and determination. I was sent daily pics, which helped ease my mind, and when I picked her up Robert was just as positive as when I dropped her off. This was our first time ever leaving her and we are so appreciative of the both of them!! We highly recommend them to watch your pup!
David and Laura were very attentive, communicative and caring with my 2 yr old terrier. They are very comfortable with all dogs/ large and small and make the dog feel very at home in the home and yard which is perfectly set up for dog sitting! Highly highly recommend!

As always, Roxie loved her stay with Heatherlyn. She had many walks, car rides and trips to starbucks for a pup cup! I loved the multiple videos and pictures that Heatherlyn sends to us so I know what Roxie and friends are up to. We could not ask for a better dog sitter!
This isn’t the first time we’ve boarded our dog here — we’ve used them several times now, and it’s always the same great service. This time was for about a week, and Dawn and Rob once again made sure our dog felt right at home. From drop-off to pick-up, it was obvious he was in good hands. We loved getting timely updates with photos and videos throughout the stay, which made being away so much easier. No anxiety, no stress, just a happy, relaxed dog when we picked him up — which after a week away says everything about the care he received. Huge thanks to Dawn and Rob for consistently going above and beyond — highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that treats your dog like family.

Aiden was great! He was available same day for a meet and greet, and Leia liked him immediately. He watched her a couple days later for over a week. I received daily updates including pictures. He even went so far as to buy her a toy because I forgot to pack hers! I highly recommend Aiden.

My boy was so well taken care of! He loved Evelyn (even at first meeting) and was a happy boy the whole time. He’s never been with anyone else other than family before so I didn’t know how he’d do, but she sent pictures and updates the whole time to ease my mind. Definitely will work with her again!

I highly recommend Alexis! We were leaving out of the country, and our dog had some last minute itching/licking issues and she really stepped up and handled the situation great. We were so grateful since we had technical problems with the communication and time difference on our side. She's awesome!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
