“I am glad I found these two! Their house is perfect for dogs and has a great genced in yard. I got daily updates on the pups and they seemed so happy! They were also very flexible with us when our flight got delayed. I have already re-booked with them.”

“Victoria & family were amazing! They cared for Palmer last minute over the holidays and our large puppy had a great time! We will always rebook with them in the future if available!”

“Can't recommend Karissa enough! She is so sweet and has the perfect spot for the dogs. Arrangements were made easy plus she always replied fast when I had questions etc. Tucker didn't want to leave and the best part is he left tired from so much play time that he is the calmest boy right now. Will definitely bring Tucker back when we need a sitter(:”
“Brooke and Nathan were absolutely wonderful with our dog Jasper. They have 2 of their own dogs and took care of other pups during Jaspers visit so he made some new friends - great for his socialization. Communication was great and pictures were shared. I highly recommend having Brooke and Nathan care for your pets, they will be in good hands. Will definitely book again. Thank you for everything!”

“Kara was awesome! My dog came back completely exhausted! She sent a couple of pictures which was great and above all I was delayed (flight) and she ended up bringing my dog back to my house! Now that is service! Thank you Kara”

“Red was great. She was open to accommodating Camilo for a week at her house. Camilo loved the space to run and to play with her dogs. She sent videos of Milo playing. I’m sure he had a really good time, and I was at peace leaving him with her.”

“Kellie was super easy to work with and our dogs were clearly well taken care of. Both of our pups have had issues with separation anxiety, but Kellie made them feel like part of the family.”

“Stephanie is an amazing sitter! She’s a fantastic communicator and made sure we knew our pup was ok while we were gone. He was tired and happy when we picked him up :)”

“Kristin is extremely nice and provides great updates while we are gone. Summit enjoys her time here and comes away very happy! I would highly recommend Kristin for all of your rover needs.”

“Hands down the best pet sitting experience EVER! She was attentive, sent pictures and updates and my girls were VERY happy! Would do this over and over again with Judy!”

“Thor sure loves his stays with Grammy & Dan!! When we arrive for drop off, he races from the car to their door step and excitedly waits for them to answer so he can greet them and his furry pals there. I don’t worry about Thor when he is at there house.”

“I would give 10 stars if I could. Tim is great with Cabi and Nugget. Nugget is usually shy around people he doesn't know. He was laying on Tim's lap within hours of being there. I highly recommend Tim. It is comforting to know my pups are well taken care of when I have to board them.”

“Ryan was absolutely great with Apollo! This was my first time leaving him, so I was a bit nervous, but Ryan really helped put me at ease. He kept me updated and made sure Apollo was comfortable and happy. Apollo had such a great time—he came home tired and content, and pretty much slept the whole next day! I’d definitely trust Ryan to watch him again. Highly recommend!”

“Danielle was awesome!!! We received plenty of photos from her during our vacation and saw how much fun the dogs were having running around in her big backyard. They came back very happy and I look forward to booking with her again.”

“Sarah and Darren take great care of my senior Chihuahua with lots of cuddles, giving meds and regular updates. They give us peace of mind while away from our little one.”

“Seriously the best!!! Nicole was wonderful with Nelli! She sent me so many photos and my pup was happy and safe. She snuggled her well Nx gave her lots of walks. Nicole is definitely watching Nelli again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Castle Rock
Barb and Luis took such good care of Lucy, our 10 year old Westie. She loved playing with their dog Benjie..looks like Lucy was a puppy all over again!. We received multiple pictures and feedback daily. I especially appreciated them working with Lucy’s finicky eating habits. This may have been Lucy’s first stay with Barb and Luis, but it won’t be her last!
Andrew was FANTASTIC with taking care of Cowboy! You can tell he has a lot of love for dogs and really knows how to take care of them. He's amazing at communication and provided updates throughout the sit. Cowboy looked so happy in all pictures I received! I would 100% have Andrew watch Cowboy again.

Tyler and Patricia and their children are great with dogs! They have a great house asks back yard that is good for the pups they care for. They are so Foss with dogs! My strong willed Alaskan Malumut (1/2) loves Tyler! That says a lot! I felt so comfortable with my dog staying with them! Thank you, Tyler and Patricia and kids for loving on others' dogs so well!

Kelly was fantastic! She took wonderful care of my dog and made her feel right at home. My dog absolutely loved all the attention from Kelly's children, so she was well loved and entertained throughout her stay. Kelly was great at communicating and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our dog was in caring, capable hands. I highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again!

Paula & Rich are THE BEST. They were so amazing from our first meeting through our goodbye. My dogs were in the best hands. They were so responsive in setting up everything, and routinely updated us every day with multiple pictures and videos. It is so obvious they LOVE dogs and dogs love them back! we were genuinely convinced our pups would never want to come home! They loved them so hard, snuggled and pet them constantly, and spoiled them with multiple walks and hikes a day. They also got the pups new tennis balls to chase around. I knew my dogs were so safe in their hands. If our dogs could talk, they would be calling Paula & Rich to pick them up for another visit. We cannot wait to use them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
