I was scheduled to leave on an international flight and everything was timed including allowing 30 minutes with the sitter to help my dog adjust before leaving even though he had done well on the meet and greet. I got to the sitter’s at the appointed time and knocked on the door with no answer. After about 10 minutes of knocking, I started to panic and ran in the rain to her neighbors to see if they could contact her but no one was home. I sent her a message through Rover asking where she was while I continued knocking and ringing the bell for 30 minutes. My daughter started calling everyone she knew to see if they were available to sit. When the sitter finally answered my message she said she would have her son, who had been upstairs the whole time, come down and answer the door. She was not home. I was angry when I left and didn’t have the time I wanted to spend with my dog to help him adjust. A week later when I picked him up she didn’t mention any problems but when he got home he had black diarrhea and threw up. When I messaged her, she said he hadn’t eaten the day before. I took him to the vet who said my 14 pound dog had lost a pound since his routine visit 3 days before I dropped him off at the sitter’s and thought it might be stress related to a chaotic drop off. I will not be using this sitter again.

Georgie was very well taken care of. She sent pictures 2 times over the weekend. Very nice family and pleased with the stay.

Debbie and her family are amazing! Debbie has watched my dog twice now, and she always comes home happy! Debbie has a wonderful yard for pups to run around, dog friendly couches (which my pup is used to), has been attentive when my dog needed medication, and has a spacious, pet friendly home. Also, my last booking request was last minute and Debbie kindly and compassionately accommodated me. I highly recommend Debbie for pet sitting!

Debbie was great! Very fast at communicating. Sent us a picture while we were away and left the house clean—exactly how we left it! Our dog had a great time and was in good hands.
