“We are all very happy with Skipper's boarding experience with Mike and Karen. We had a great in-home visit before our booking, which eased any concerns I had. They have a lovely home and a beautiful backyard and they were unphased by Skipper's running around anywhere and everywhere. I know Skipper got lots of exercise while he was with them. We received updates daily letting us know how the day had gone with pictures. We are 100% happy with our experience with Mike and Karen and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again in the future!”
“Rita was so great!! It’s very obvious Rita loves dogs and treats your dog as if it were her own while they are at her house. She is very flexible and accommodating. I didn’t have to stress at all while I was away knowing my dog was getting amazing care.”

“My girls loved Samantha and her family and I could tell from all the pictures I got through their stay. I went out of town for a wedding that I was participating in so I barely had time, and it was nice to see pictures of my babies when I got back to my phone. I was very nervous leaving them with 1) someone I didn't know and 2) my older girl's attitude changing around new dogs, but they took great care of them. They set up a meet & greet beforehand so we can introduce our dogs and talk through my worries so that helped calm my nerves before leaving them. From the videos I was sent, I know they engaged with them a lot as well so they weren't just fending for themselves in a new place with new dogs which is important to make sure everyone is okay. Their kid also did really well with them and they loved him. I would absolutely book with them again with more confidence the next time around.”

“Absolutely wonderful! I felt very comfortable leaving fur baby with Shayne & Adam. I got daily updates and never had to question how my pup was doing. My dog was well cared for and happy. Thanks guys!!”

“Alisha took great care of Cooper. She quickly notified me when there was an issue and kept me informed of how well he was doing. Thank you Alisha!”
“Lori takes the BEST care of our dog, Winston. She also provides us frequent updates while watching Winston. We wouldn’t want anyone else taking care of our little guy.”

“Paula is Wonderful! She took in our sweet old Gigi on short notice, she is a true dog lover and Gigi took to her immediately. Paula sent us numerous updates and pictures throughout Gigi's stay. She gave her affection, attention and a special spot on the couch, she even gave her a bath. I can't say enough great things about how well she cared for our pup and how much I would recommend her to take excellent care of your puppo.”

“Jonathan was amazing! He was communicative, attentive, punctual and most importantly he was incredibly knowledgeable. He made porkchop feel happy, safe, and cared for. He sent updates with pictures and videos. His home is perfect for your pups stay! A true dog lover.”

“I am completely at ease when I leave my 14 year old girl with Sarah and her family. She’s always well taken care of and Sarah takes the time to know her particulars and accommodates her. So thankful!!!”

“Sure thing! Here’s a review for Samantha and Anthony: Samantha and Anthony did an amazing job watching our dog. They kept us updated with videos and pictures, which was really reassuring. They also had other dogs they were watching, which kept our dog company and well-exercised. Highly recommend them!”

“Michael was great with our dog Ellie while we took an overnight trip. He gave me updates on how she was doing and pictures. Would definitely book again, thank you! :)”

“Lexi was amazing and sent us pictures often and even added that our Boba said goodnight! Very sweet and personable! Boba seemed to love her and her family! We'll definitely use her again!”

“Kara was awesome our dog was very well taken care of and she was very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. Our dog seemed very at ease even apon pick up he usually seems overly eager to see us usually but it was like leaving him home with a close friend or family member. Thank you Kara highly recommended!!!”

“Shanna was awesome! I received multiple updates daily which is always a relief knowing our fur baby is in good hands :) will definitely be using Shanna in the future!”
“Christy was wonderful! My dog Kona was loved on and I received daily updates including pictures about how and what she was doing. I definitely felt more at ease leaving Kona with Christy than at a dog kennel where she’d spend much of her time alone. Christy was easy to communicate with and flexible. I highly recommend using her for pet care!”

“Brooke and Scott are amazing! They took such great care of my little dog. They sent me photos daily and reassured me that she was doing well. I highly recommend them!”

“Hands down the best pet sitting experience EVER! She was attentive, sent pictures and updates and my girls were VERY happy! Would do this over and over again with Judy!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Monument
Abby and Adrian took care of our four-year-old golden retriever while we were out of town for our 10th anniversary! They really adored our pup and treated her like their own. They have two adorable little ones who were good friends with her. They took mine to all their activities, which I appreciate, and took her for walks every day. They are absolutely wonderful, and we will go back to them whenever we are out of town next time.

Our pup had a great time with Sierra! We boarded her for 6 nights, and Sierra was great with keeping up with some special diet requirements. She also has a large fenced outdoor area the dogs can play in, Mocha seemed very happy when we picked her up. Would definitely book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
