“Bryn spoiled our sweet Riley during her stay and it was so fun to get pictures of Riley playing with her ball each day that we were away! Bryn truly loved spending time with our dog and found humor in each of her quirks, which quickly put us at ease! Riley can’t wait to stay with Bryn again!”

“Sarah took wonderful care of our 7 month old golden retriever while we were on vacation! We got daily updates and pictures. We will definitely book her again for our next vacation! ❤️”

“Absolutely wonderful! I felt very comfortable leaving fur baby with Shayne & Adam. I got daily updates and never had to question how my pup was doing. My dog was well cared for and happy. Thanks guys!!”

“Excellent!!! Mike and Karen made our anxious boy, Dakota, comfortable during his 5 day stay. He was extremely well cared for. We would not hesitate to use them again. We liked the daily picture and update on his day. Thank you!! :)”

“Kara was awesome with Rizzo! She sent pics which were much appreciated, and Rizzo seemed happy and content when I picked her up. Kara was also communicative and flexible, which I really appreciated! Would definitely book again!”

“Anthony and Samantha really do a great job putting my mind at ease knowing my pup is well cared for! Ruby spent two days/nights with them, came home happy and then slept the rest of the day, tired out from so much fun. Ruby gets excited when I mention their names or when we pull up to their house so I know she plays hard, is loved and well cared for while there. I heartily recommend them!!”

“Sean and Melissa are outstanding hosts for dog friends. They were not only very kind but also great with communication, I felt completely comfortable having my pet stay with them.”
“Paula is Wonderful! She took in our sweet old Gigi on short notice, she is a true dog lover and Gigi took to her immediately. Paula sent us numerous updates and pictures throughout Gigi's stay. She gave her affection, attention and a special spot on the couch, she even gave her a bath. I can't say enough great things about how well she cared for our pup and how much I would recommend her to take excellent care of your puppo.”

“Julie and her wonderful family were great with Bella. Julie sent pictures and updates and they were much appreciated. I especially like the fact that Julie only accepts one client at a time so I know Bella got a lot of attention. So happy to have found Julie on Rover and I would definitely recommend her.”

“My initial meet and greet went smoothly. We met at her house and she not only let me ask any questions I had but also asked some of her own: Which shows me she cares. This was my first ever booking and I was nervous. She ensured a safe visit for my babygirl. I received updates and pictures. Ms. Christy also accommodated me having to drop off 2 days earlier. Which was much appreciated. We definitely will be back again! Thank you!!!”

“Had to go out of town for several days and Alisha was just the sitter we wished for! She loved our dogs as if they were her own and sent plenty of picture and updates, which we loved. Highly recommend Alisha and will definitely be hiring her again for our future dog-sitting needs!”

“Amazing experience! Jonathan and his wife had my pups for two weeks while I was traveling and made sure to send lots of pics & videos. They were on top of communication and made pick up and drop off super easy. They bathed both of my pups and took them on lots of walks. 12/10 rating! Would definitely recommend and I will be using them again soon.”

“We had no worries at all leaving our dogs with Liz and Gary. We love the fact that they had a great big tall fence in their beautiful backyard. I know our dogs got wonderful love and attention. I highly recommend.”

“Judy was so awesome with Shaka. It was a long booking but after a few days I no worries at all as she kept me up to date on how they were doing. I would recommend Judy to everyone needing someone to take care of their fur babies. She is the best!”

“Bettina and Jim were an absolute dream come true! Being new to the area, we were a little nervous about leaving our poodle for the holiday week. But after our first visit, we knew he would be in good hands. They were the best, sent pictures daily of walks and good times while we were away ? highly recommend!”

“Michael was awesome! I got updates everyday from him and he was super responsive not to mention very flexible too. Highly recommend! Thanks so much for taking care of my pup!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Monument
Gary & Liz were just great. We had a last-minute cancellation with another Rover sitter (family emergency). I contacted Gary & Liz, who saw me right away for a meet & greet. We quickly knew that both of us were very comfortable with each other. They have a wonderful set-up; they were flexible on drop-off/pick-up times and sent regular updates with, I might add, stunning photos of our dog. I highly recommend Gary & Liz.
Abby and Adrian took care of our four-year-old golden retriever while we were out of town for our 10th anniversary! They really adored our pup and treated her like their own. They have two adorable little ones who were good friends with her. They took mine to all their activities, which I appreciate, and took her for walks every day. They are absolutely wonderful, and we will go back to them whenever we are out of town next time.

Our pup had a great time with Sierra! We boarded her for 6 nights, and Sierra was great with keeping up with some special diet requirements. She also has a large fenced outdoor area the dogs can play in, Mocha seemed very happy when we picked her up. Would definitely book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
