“As always, Leslie did an amazing job caring for our pup! We had to travel out of state for a family memorial service, and it was so nice to not have to think or worry about him while we were away. In short, Leslie is the absolute best!!”

“Paula is Wonderful! She took in our sweet old Gigi on short notice, she is a true dog lover and Gigi took to her immediately. Paula sent us numerous updates and pictures throughout Gigi's stay. She gave her affection, attention and a special spot on the couch, she even gave her a bath. I can't say enough great things about how well she cared for our pup and how much I would recommend her to take excellent care of your puppo.”

About: I have had pets my entire life, but as an adult only had dogs. I am a physical therapist by trade so I do have a health background. I have done insulin shots for a diabetic cat and ACL rehab for a dog. I have done bandages for small wounds from sharp rocks when hiking or a torn nail. Let me know your pups needs! I work for the schools district so only planning to do this in the summer right now! I may continue into next school year, but want to insure I have the time needed for your dog! I am married and the mom of 3 teen age girls who love dogs and want another one. They would love to cuddle, love and play with your dog while in my care! I will take your dog on daily walks with our dog pup and make sure they are happy! Our dog Tulsa loves other dogs and warms up quickly. She loves walks and hikes. She is not food aggressive at all but loves treats! Let me know what your pup needs. Tulsa is crated during our absence and I would prefer to do the same for your pup if we are out. When I am home, Tulsa gets free rein of the main floor and supervision in basement and upstairs for safety. She sleeps in my bedroom and night and I would do the same for your pup, or crate if that’s what you prefer. Tulsa is trained to ask to get on furniture but is sneaky sometimes. If your dog is allowed on furniture, we will allow that on our main sofa, but keep them off our front room sofa - it’s white. I can accommodate special diets and medication, but Tulsa does not have either of those.
“Oliver had the best time with Briana and Manuel!! I got daily pictures and updates on how he was doing which made me feel so at ease as this was the first time I’ve been gone for a week. Thank you both for the love you gave Oliver. We would love to have him stay with you again!”

“Brooke & Scott did a tremendous job. Our little guy, who has tremendous separation anxiety, seemed to be extremely relaxed. He appeared to have really enjoyed his visit, and for the first time in his nearly 15 years of life, came home from a sitter or a kennel in at least as good of condition as he was when he left. Brooke sent us regular pictures to show us what and how he was doing. A GREAT experience!”

“Sam and Anthony are so great! This was Bear's second time staying with them and I can tell he was so well taken care of. I definitely recommend them! Bear is full of energy and they are so great and being patient with him and giving him all the love and attention he needs.”

“Shanna was so awesome with my baby. She took such good care of him for me. She always kept in communication with me and sent pictures everyday. I love her so much for easing my fears of him being in a strangers home. She’s the best!”

“Idali was a great sitter for my doggie! She had great communication with me during the stay and gave updates with lots of pictures. She's very respectful and caring!”

“Just was absolutely fantastic! Kobe is still an extremely energetic puppy and she handled him with patience and care! Pictures were sent to me to show how much live he was getting while mommy was out of town! Will definitely use Judy again!!!??❤️”

“We Left our dog Zac with Nichole For 3 days. She was so sweet and easy to work with, and stayed in good communication with us. She took good care of Zac, and gave him a much needed bath that we hadn’t had time to give him, but had made prior arrangements with her for. It was a great first experience with Rover all the way around, and we would definitely look Nicole up again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Monument
Abby and Adrian took care of our four-year-old golden retriever while we were out of town for our 10th anniversary! They really adored our pup and treated her like their own. They have two adorable little ones who were good friends with her. They took mine to all their activities, which I appreciate, and took her for walks every day. They are absolutely wonderful, and we will go back to them whenever we are out of town next time.

Our pup had a great time with Sierra! We boarded her for 6 nights, and Sierra was great with keeping up with some special diet requirements. She also has a large fenced outdoor area the dogs can play in, Mocha seemed very happy when we picked her up. Would definitely book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
