About: Our pets are our family and they should be treated as such ❤️. I am a full time nurse and do not need this job but I have two dogs that were very difficult and stubborn to train and I would have loved to have someone like me to be there if I went out of town or on vacation because I only ever trusted myself with them. I never went on vacation in their younger years because I was so scared someone would be mean to them or not care for them like I would if I boarded them. So I have decided to do this part time because every pet should be treated with love and care because they ARE our family ❤️🐾. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed if you trusted me with your family. I love all animals so much and quite frankly we don’t deserve their love and loyalty ❤️. Please choose me! I am working full time so I won’t be able to take all jobs but please reach out and I will try to make it happen. My schedule fluctuates so I can’t give certain days but if I am off work I will be there. I will treat your dog as you would just let me know any restrictions, dietary concerns, medications if they take them, certain ways they like things done or special things you would like done for your loved one and it will be done.
About: I graduated with a 4.0 in Vet Assisting at PIMA. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I personally own a 5 year old English Bulldog, a 13 year old cat and my 12 year old leopard gecko has passed. I love animal-loving people, animals and helping them! I have full availability at the moment as I look for other employment. I would love to give some of my attention to a pet in need of sitting or daily walks! My dog stays in a crate while I'm away from home and at night. He likes to snuggle every morning. We go to the dog park at least twice a week. My cat always has food, fresh water, and a cleaned daily litter box. My lizard had a clean cage and was fed 1 to every 3 days with meal worms or a super worm as a treat.
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, from friends to family, to mostly the luxury of my own home. I have had the pleasure to live with six big beautiful dogs. Three Great Danes, Two Great Dane/ Saint Bernards, and a Rottweiler. I have taken care of animals all shapes, sizes, and ages. I promise to love your babies as I love mine! I am in school part time, so I will have plenty of time to watch over your babies and make sure they have plenty of necessities to get them through the day/night. With providing the service to stay in your home, I will make sure to treat your home with respect and care. All while making sure it is a safe and happy environment for your animals while I’m there.
About: I offer attentive, reliable pet care tailored to each dog’s needs. I have a 10 month old Golden Retriever who is friendly, playful, and loves every dog, creating a positive and social environment. I’m experienced with puppy routines, basic training reinforcement, and administering medications. I prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication so you can feel confident your pet is in loving, capable hands. I work from home most days, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and supervision, and I can easily adjust my schedule to match your pet’s routine. I do not have a fenced yard but our apartment has a fenced dog park. I provide a safe, loving environment where pets are treated like family. My own pet is my world, and I bring that same level of care, attention, and responsibility to every animal I look after.
“Always amazing! Emily is just the best with dogs. Hobbes always looks forward to his walks with her and she is incredible and reliable. Emily makes going out of town so relaxing because you know your dog is in great hands!! I would give 10 stars!!!”

About: Neighbors have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their pets. I have walked neighborhood dogs and looked after local cats when owners traveled before. Additionally, my time volunteering at the Humane Society taught me how to handle animals safely, read their body language, and give them the dedicated love and care they deserve. I am currently a college student, so I have plenty of free time off over the summer to dedicate entirely to pet care! My open schedule allows me to easily accommodate midday check-ins, flexible dog walking times, and extended playtime. I can effortlessly adapt to your pet's normal routine to ensure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need throughout the week. I provide a calm, clean environment where your pet will feel completely comfortable and relaxed. I always prioritize safety and structure during my visits, ensuring doors and gates are secure at all times. To give you peace of mind while you are away, I will send frequent photo and text updates so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and having fun.
“We booked Allyson last minute when our previous sitter cancelled last minute. She came and met our dogs the day before our trip and they instantly loved her! She did an excellent job of walking them and then feeding them afterwards. She sent a photo of them after each walk and they both looked so happy. They clearly loved Allyson and they looked forward to their daily walks. We will definitely book Allyson again. 💕😊”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals—-dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs etc. I’m a very detail oriented person and I love when an owner gives me as much detail as possible in order to take the best care of their baby ☺️ I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds, all sizes and dogs with different needs (helping a dog thru a weight loss journey, anxious shy dogs, dogs that require medication etc). I love animals more than I love people and it shows! Anytime I meet someone’s pet, they’re always drawn to me and I feel very honored by that! I’m extremely patient and calm with animals because I have had my own pets who had special needs. I’m currently new to the Colorado Springs area and doing gig work, so I can be available to check on your pets anytime throughout the day! I treat a clients home with the utmost respect and only go where authorized or use only what the client tells me to for their pet! I’m very attentive to pets’ safety and I will treat your baby with the love and respect that I treat my own with ☺️
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12, I currently have 3 of my own. I have been doing animal behavior and training courses for eight years, and understand the best ways to make a dog feel comfortable and confident. I have worked with puppies all the way to senior dogs. I am also comfortable working with reactive dogs (to an extent). My own dog is reactive, and I know the best methods to keep a dog focused and safe during a high stress event. I will always do my best to keep the routine your animals have, as change can be stressful to them. I am a hybrid student so I am extremely flexible and able to come spend as much time as needed with your pet(s). I can accommodate almost any needs! Making sure a dog is safe is the number one priority. I will always ask your dogs comfort level around strangers, new dogs, cars, squirrels… and so on. This will allow me to tailor my care to ensure your dog gets the best experience possible and you don’t have to worry about anything happening.
About: “Dog fever” doesn’t even begin to cover it — my girlfriend and I are counting down the days until we can bring home a new puppy. I’m the kind of person who can’t pass a dog on the street without stopping to say hello, so you can imagine how excited I get around animals. I’m a private contractor working remotely with a very flexible schedule. I can shift my day to day schedule and adapt to most needs you may have. I am a very attentive person with patience and much affection. I hope to keep your pets routine consistent & stress-free with exercise, playtime, or just extra attention.
About: I have loved being around dogs my whole life. From having our own family dogs or dog sitting for friends and family, I have been around both large and small dogs and love them all. outside of my school schedule, i have pretty open availability to abide to your pets needs, i do also have large gaps in between my classes so care during the school day should be no issue! i am not able to have animals at my house but am very experienced with pet care, i have cared for pets with sicknesses and diseases as well as pets with tons of energy!
“Olivia was wonderful with our 2 pups! They are very powerful dogs and she handled them like a pro! She is my go to for taking care of my babies while we are away! Thank you, Olivia!”

About: Hi there! I'm a passionate animal lover with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. Whether it's dogs, cats, horses, or other animals, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm currently a second-year veterinary student and hold a Bachelor's degree in Equine Science. Before vet school, I worked as a veterinary technician, giving me extensive experience handling animals, recognizing signs of illness, administering medications, and providing compassionate care. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. I currently share my home with my dachshund, Elsa, and my horse, so I know the love and individualized care that every animal deserves. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visits, overnight care, medication administration, or just plenty of companionship while you're away, you can have peace of mind knowing they'll be in experienced, caring hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am currently home for the summer after completing my second year of vet school. My schedule is very flexible and would love to spend my time with all animals. I care for my patients and clients like I do my own fur babies. They get the most of my attention and when possible, love to explore with them as well.
“We had a great experience with Sarah J. walking our dog today and would not hesitate to hire her again! She was very sweet with our 90# Bluetick Coonhound and Sadie Blue took to her right away. Sarah sent us updates and pictures of our dog during and after the walk which I truly appreciated! At the conclusion of her walk, we had one very happy and tired pup! Thank-you Sarah!!”

About: I grew up with 6 bulldogs who needed attention both medically, physically, and emotionally. I genuinely love dogs and treat all of them like my own; understanding that dogs are family! I recently graduated from high school ant Palmer Ridge and am attending HVAC school in the fall at Pikes Peak ( this program will be part-time leaving me time to care for dogs). I enjoy caring for dogs in their own environment as I have found many dogs become stressed when they have to adapt to new environments. I appreciate detailed instructions on your dogs feeding and activity level to in order to best take care of them!
“Dezerae has been great walking my dogs. Even my normally fearful Chihuahua has taken to her kind spirit quickly, which is a feat in and of itself. Would recommend Dezerae to anyone!”

About: Friends and family have always trusted me to look after their pets. Growing up with lots of dogs and cats, I developed a deep love for animals. I enjoy taking them for walks, snuggling with them, and giving them the attention they need! I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets, from puppies and kittens to dogs, and cats, and many more. I’ve always been able to handle any problem, clean up any mess, and show love to any animal! I am currently fully available Monday-Sunday. So please reach out if you need any help with your beloved companions, I’d love to assist! When taking care for a pet, whether in my home or my client’s home, I always stick to the client’s routine. Whenever I have extra time, I love spending it with the pets, whether it’s taking them for walks, playing in the yard, or just hanging out.
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets and have always felt most at home around them❤️ My husband and I recently moved to Colorado with our Great Pyrenees that we rescued in 2023. She is our baby and may be a little spoiled. She’s a gentle giant, who has no regard for personal space, and LOVES a new fur friend-no matter the size! Before moving to Colorado, I spent time in Los Angeles working as a full-time dog walker, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. From quick 30-minute drop-ins to hour-long walks, overnight boarding, and house sitting, I’ve handled it all. Now that I’m settling into Colorado, I’m excited to bring that same reliability and care to a new community of dog owners. Your dog won’t just be walked — they’ll be in good hands! I am currently home all day, every day, so I have plenty of time to play and entertain your pups! I’m available for all services! We have a dog park that we like to go to regularly for potty breaks and exercise. I am able to kennel dogs if needed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
