Had the privilege of having Lexi walk Jenga for the past 5 months during the afternoons and she’s been nothing but professional and a delight for Jenga, would absolutely recommend for anyone who may be too busy during the day to give their pup a walk!

Stephanie has been reliable, a great communicator, and our dog loves her! She gives him plenty of water breaks on their walks together. I’m so happy we have found her! I recommend her to anyone who needs a kind person to help out with their pets.

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life and have been dog sitting for family and friends since my junior year of high school. I have experience with both large breeds, like German Shepherds, and small dogs. I’ve done everything from short check-ins while owners are at work to week-long stays. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone who truly cares, and I treat every dog I watch with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m currently a student at Arizona State University with classes on weekday mornings. Outside of that, I have a flexible schedule and can adjust my routine to accommodate pet care. On weekends, I usually work on school assignments, which I’m able to do from anywhere, allowing me to provide attentive and consistent care. I currently provide pet care in my client’s home to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any household routines. I prioritize safety by keeping doors secured, monitoring pets closely during walks, and maintaining a clean, calm space. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I am a caring, reliable animal lover who has been around animals my whole life, cats, dogs, horses, you name it. I have fostered and rescued many animals, dogs and cats specifically and am comfortable handling them no matter their temperament. I love all sizes, big, small, and in between. I have two german shepherd huskies and currently have a foster malinois mix that I am rehabbing. I’m not able to care for other animals in my home due to having a foster dog, but I am more than willing and happy to travel to yours to make sure your fur babies are happy and well taken care of. I’m currently not working and my schedule is very flexible, so I’m pretty much always available to take care of your pets! You need me, I can be there. I am a very active person and I love taking dogs on walks or even simply just cuddling on the couch if they’re a couch potato. Keeping the animals in my care perfectly happy is my biggest goal when pet sitting.

About: Hi! My name is Dani, and I’m currently a graduate student looking to earn some extra income doing something I genuinely love — caring for animals. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and since high school I’ve volunteered at animal shelters helping care for dogs and cats of all personalities and needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you fully trust with your pets, and I always treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles, sticking to routines, or just making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, I truly put care and attention into every visit. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and experienced with animals that are shy, energetic, anxious, or need a little extra love. As a grad student, I also have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to your pets and give them the care they deserve. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! As a graduate student completing my degree online, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to your pets throughout the day. I also go to the gym daily for about an hour and a half, which fits easily into my routine while still allowing plenty of availability for walks, playtime, feeding schedules, drop-ins, and overnight care. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I love being able to spend my time with pets while also earning extra income during grad school. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I always follow routines carefully, pay close attention to behavior and surroundings, and make responsible decisions to keep everyone safe — including your pets, your home, and myself. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, anxious, or needs extra patience, I provide attentive and compassionate care at all times.

About: I never feel like “it’s just a dog” or “it’s just a cat”. I care for animals as part of the family. I’m experienced and skilled. While I do work full-time, I have the ability to make sure a pet is taken care of. I recognize that pets need time and love as much as food and bathroom breaks. I have a fenced yard and a doggie door. While I don’t currently have my own pets, I frequently take care of two bundles of energy who love being with me.

Samaya has been such a blessing! She takes my dog on her daily walk and has been there for us after my dog had surgery and needed extra TLC. When I have gone out of town Samaya has also checked in on my cats and I know that they are given all the extra attention my needy felines want! I am so thankful to have found someone who cares for my animals and who I can count on to be there when I can’t. Thank you Samaya!

I really appreciated her attention to detail, asking questions about his walking style, feeding times, etc… I highly recommended Vivian to all pet owners in the Springs area!

About: Hi there! I have always loved all animals but growing up I’ve had dogs. I am willing to care for any sort of animal you might have: dogs, cats, fish, birds, amphibians/reptiles, or any sort of exotic pet! Currently, I have a 6 year old yellow lab named Gunner, a 2 year old black lab named Winston, and two cats, Ody and Linus who are both 1 year old. Their personalities are all very different but no matter what personality your pet has, they deserve to be cared for in a loving way. I hope I can be that caregiver for your pet! I am available to do drop in’s, take your pet on walks, or house sit while caring for your pet and keeping them safe. I am working on my bachelors degree for social work and working full time. All of my schooling is online so that means I have plenty of time to care for pets! I love crafting like embroidery and crochet, and I love being outdoors in general but especially when I can go on a nice walk. Usually I let my dogs out into a fenced in backyard when they need to go potty but I also take them on walks around the neighborhood. Gunner is a big dog so we put him on a harness and he loves it! I like to keep things clean so I make sure there are no messes left by my pets.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10 years old. I have done it as a job and simply because I've owned many animals throughout my life. I love dogs and cats of all personalities and sizes. I don't mind if they are couch potatoes or need someone to play with, then every second of the day! I have also taken in whole litters of dogs and cats before and know how to take care of puppies and kittens quite well. I have experience with older animals, I have administered medicine to both cats and dogs in need. I am willing to accomidate to what ever will make you and your animal comfortable and happy! I work part-time, usually 6-hour shifts on Thursday-Mondays. I could be able to change that around and figure out something that works good for you! I live in an apartment with a dog park, and I usually go on walks in the morning and afternoon. I spend most of my time outside and would love to take your dog with me.

Cassie has been an incredible dog walker for my service dog, Reina, on Mondays and Fridays. Her reliability, professionalism, and genuine love for animals have given me complete peace of mind knowing Reina was in such caring hands. Over the time she worked with us, Cassie built a wonderful bond with Reina and always went above and beyond to ensure she was happy, safe, and well cared for. Her kindness, patience, and dedication never went unnoticed. Reina and I are truly saddened to see Cassie leave, but we are so grateful for everything she has done for us. While we will miss her tremendously, we wish her nothing but success, happiness, and exciting new adventures in this next chapter of her life. Thank you, Cassie, for your outstanding care, friendship, and commitment. You have made a lasting impact on both of us, and we will always be grateful. ❤️🐾

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Black Forest. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
