About: Dogs have been part of our family for many years. We’ve shared our lives with German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Belgian Malinois, and even a wolf! Most recently, our two Australian Shepherds filled our home with love, energy, and adventure. Our Aussies are now moving out of town to live with our daughter. About: I am new to rover. I decided to join because of my love for dogs and needing profit while in school. I would love to do anything needed with and/for your dog. Being a pet parent myself, I understand the importance of tailoring needs to each dog. I adopted my first dog when I was 10 and I adopted my second puppy, Nix, at 12 weeks in July 2025. He knows sit, stay, retrieve, wait for food, shake, high five, fetch, find, etc. He is crate trained and can be left alone for up to 6 hours. He can go on stress free walks with his gentle lead & e collar while performing heal, wait, and go. I have experience watching & walking family and friends dogs-house sitting out of state. I have experience walking dogs and their behavior on walks as I take Nix five miles every other day. I am currently between jobs and am soon to be going back to school part-time, so I have plenty of time to entertain your pets! I have a fenced mulched area in the front of my house- no yard- but plenty of contained space to be let out to potty…this is what I do with my pup. I take my pup on a five mile walk daily and am very active to do whatever distance/time walk.

About: I have previously volunteered with a county SPCA organization taking dogs out for car rides and walks. And giving cats the love they needed during a very unsettled time for them. In homes, I have cared for up to 3 dogs (each about 100 pounds) and cats at a time, dropping in two or three times a day when the owners were away for work or vacations. I would refill food and water, play with the animals, and let them out for toilet breaks/ clean the litter box, and water plants. I have had dogs for about 10 years, and I have dog/cat sat on and off while going to school for just as long. I have also aced Rover's Safety Quiz for recognizing behaviors and keeping your animal safe. I work part-time leaving ample time to do pop-ins and walks. I'm available: Mon-Thurs: before 8:45am and after 1pm Fri and Sat: before 8:45am and after 6:30pm Sun: All day I prefer to meet you and your animals first, so that we can establish trust and go over any specifics for your fur baby. Taking care of animals in their usual environment allows them not to stray from routine and gives them a sense of ease. About: I've had dogs and cats usually both at the same time as my children were growing up. Since early 70's. I loved them and they seem to like me ok. The last dog I had was a Border Collie rescue that I adopted in Omaha 2017 she was found in Louisiana. Her and I moved to Colorado in 2020. She was very sweet and also loved other animals in the building where we lived including cats. Sadly, she passed 2024. We could communicate just with body language and looking into each other's eyes as I spoke to her. I still interact with all the dogs in the building when I see them. We would also go on hikes up at Palmer Park on the off-leash dog trail. Made a lot of friends with dogs there as well. I now live with my children and their 3 cats. They are very sweet also. Lots of cuddle time. Our pets just need love and attention and know that we care. So, I do tend to spoil them while abiding by the rules. I do have obligations a couple of times a week during the day. I'm usually gone about 2-3 hours when that happens. Evening meetings twice a month for couple of hours. I will do errands and help friends out from time to time. However, when I am scheduled to take care of a pet I work my schedule around them. Thursday mornings are the only day I cannot reschedule but I'm only gone for 2-3 hours average. Take the dogs for walks if client wishes / allows. Pay attention to cats and dogs so they don't feel alone. Stick to the routine the clients have set for them. Also change cats litter boxes when needed.

“Megan and her family were great! She has an excellent house for dog sitting with a great fenced backyard for roaming and exercise. She provided regular photos and videos which was very nice because it was hard to be away from our pup over the holidays.
