“Briana and Manuel are the absolute best! They take such good care of Donut and he always loves to spend time with them. I trust them fully with my dog and appreciate everything they do!”

“Twix loved his stay with Lexi! She sent many pictures each night. Lexi was very friendly and communicated well from the moment I reached out about boarding. I will definitely be booking with her again whenever needed.”

“Christy was wonderful! My dog Kona was loved on and I received daily updates including pictures about how and what she was doing. I definitely felt more at ease leaving Kona with Christy than at a dog kennel where she’d spend much of her time alone. Christy was easy to communicate with and flexible. I highly recommend using her for pet care!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dogs received! They were attended to and my pups felt comfortable and loved while I was away. I appreciated the updates and photos they sent me. It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals they look after. I highly recommend Willam. K. to anyone looking for a trustworthy place to board their furry friend! You can customize this based on your specific experience! Want me to tweak it a bit?”

“Melissa and Sean did an amazing job watching Miklo for the second time! It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they watch, and I always feel at ease knowing Miklo is in great hands. They provided regular updates, were very attentive to his needs, and made sure he was happy and comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet sitters. Thanks again, Melissa and Sean!”

“Mango is a pretty anxious pup but she had an absolute blast at Sarah's place! She got to play a bunch and came home a very tired pup! Sarah sent lots of updates which I really appreciated as well!”

“Megan is fantastic! She is very calm and kind, especially with our dog. She was great about sending pictures and updates. It was very reassuring! We will definitely use her again.”

“Brooke and Scott are amazing! They took such great care of my little dog. They sent me photos daily and reassured me that she was doing well. I highly recommend them!”

“Jennifer was awesome! Out first time leaving our Goldendoodle, Luna, and she was so trust worthy and great at communicating!! We are so thankful for her taking such great care of Luna!! If we need to leave town again and can't bring Luna, we will definitely be using Jennifer again, knowing that she will be taken care of!!”

“Bryn is such a caring and communicative sitter! My dog ended up being sick for the last 24 hours of the stay, and not only did Bryn immediately contact me with all the details, she provided frequent updates until I was able to pick up my dog. Five stars!”

“Sarah and her family welcomed our cat with open arms as their own. This is the first time we have board our cat through Rover and our cat came home stress-free. Sarah kept us informed daily with photos and text. Sarah and her family provided a great experience for us as well as our cat. Thanks for everything and we can't wait to go away once again now that we have a stress-free environment for our fur child to board at.”

“I am extremely impressed about how much Priya and her family took care of my beloved Labs. They are very important to me and one of my dogs is special needs. Priya went the extra mile to do whatever she could to assure that my dogs Earl and Bella felt at home. She sent pictures and videos daily to update me on what they were doing as well as funny moments during their stay. She administered Earl's daily medication and played with them. Although they were very happy to see me, I could tell that they had an amazing experience at somewhat like a second home. Priya is very kind, relatable and down to earth and makes you feel like a friend right away. Her family really loved my dogs. If I ever need to book again, I will look to see is she is still available. I couldn't find a sitter to watch my kids for free including my neighbors and friends. But I would rather do this again because I know that they will definitely be taken care of instead feeling like a burden to someone who is really not interested in pet sitting. That definitely worried me before meeting Priya. I was instead worry free and at peace while I was away. And staying in a kennel with concrete floors is no longer an option for my dogs. I know that Earl and Bella will remember them and the house. If you have any reservations about booking with Priya, I assure you that you don't have to worry. Thank You So Much Priya for your care and attention to my beloved pets. I cannot put everything in words of how well this went and how appreciative I am. But you may have an idea by what I wrote. :)”

“Kim is wonderful! Highly recommend her for caring for your furry family. She has a calm and caring energy that immediately put my anxious pup at ease. I received several photos and videos each day and Kim made sure my pup was getting lots of playtime and socialization. This was my first time away from my pup and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you Kim!!”

“Breanna was so kind, calm, and caring with every interaction with my dog Zoey. From the introduction of Zoey to her dog and the other dogs she was caring for, to the activities and games she does with the dogs, she is all about the safety and enrichment of their day. The photos kept me updated and feeling thankful that Zoey was being taken care of and loved.”

“Leslie did an amazing job of taking care of our pup! Not only has Moses found his new Rover sitter but also a new friend. Couldn’t be more pleased!”

“April and her family were wonderful with our two German Shepherds. She immediately responded to all our messages, and sent daily updates and photos. Our pups were well taken care of, looked just at home with April's family. And her husband and kids all were excellent care takers for us while we were away. Absolutely recommend boarding with her again!”

“Julie and her wonderful family were great with Bella. Julie sent pictures and updates and they were much appreciated. I especially like the fact that Julie only accepts one client at a time so I know Bella got a lot of attention. So happy to have found Julie on Rover and I would definitely recommend her.”

“Ruth and her husband Greg are caring and accommodating pet sitters. Our little Butch was welI cared for and he came home happy. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with them and plan to book again when needed. Thanks Ruth!”

“Sure thing! Here’s a review for Samantha and Anthony: Samantha and Anthony did an amazing job watching our dog. They kept us updated with videos and pictures, which was really reassuring. They also had other dogs they were watching, which kept our dog company and well-exercised. Highly recommend them!”

Our dog had a great time over at Caleb and Rachel’s! They were able to accommodate her feeding schedule and gave her lots of time outside in the backyard and on walks. We loved getting text/photo updates! This was our first time using Rover and glad we had a great experience. We would definitely book with Rachel and Caleb again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
