“Hi, we’re Radar and Jammer, and we’re writing this review ourselves because Maren is the best! She stayed at our house the whole time (she was doing school on her computer), so she was always here with us. We were never lonely; our new friend Maren provided constant good company. We got LOTS of walks every day, and the best part?...she let us roll in the dirt as much as we wanted. When Radar got extra muddy (classic Radar), Maren even gave her a bath, which Radar thought was a nice pampering. We felt totally safe and happy the whole time. Zero stress, zero FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) like we usually get when our humans go somewhere without us. When our humans came home, they were pleasantly surprised at how clean the house was and that our fur hadn’t piled up everywhere after a whole week. (We know that Maren kept the house tidy with the vacuum). Also, we *may* have pulled a little thread on a blanket while jumping on it (zoomies…). Maren told the humans right away and even offered to pay for it. (They said no since we’re the ones who did it and it’s just normal dog wear and tear, but still – very responsible of her.) Maren is our #1 favorite sitter, paws down. (Part of us wants to keep her a secret so she’s always free when they leave again…but our humans said there are other doggos who should get to spend time with Maren too). Highly recommend. About: I’ve been a vet assistant for over 3 years and am studying to be a vet tech. I have experience with a wide range of temperaments and medical conditions and understand the care needed. I am fortunate to be able to see first-hand the beautiful, unique love between humans and their pets. I know being away from our fur babies can be stressful for you and them so I guarantee that I will give the love, comfort, energy and care needed as though they were my own :) For four days a week, I work 8am-6pm. I offer my services before and after. On my days off, which are inconsistent, I am open all day unless otherwise specified. Available on weekends too, unless otherwise specified. With clear, precise information on your pet, their lifestyle, and with you and your home, I am able to do whatever is needed with safety and satisfaction.
“Debbie was absolutely amazing with our two girls, Lucy and Rumi! We were nervous going into this booking because Lucy takes a while to warm up to new people and tends to be anxious/vocal at first but Debbie was so patient and consistent with her that by the end of the stay, Lucy had gone from barking and hiding in the bedroom to a completely zero-bark day, letting Debbie scratch her ears and even walk her on leash. That kind of progress with an anxious dog speaks volumes about how gentle and attentive Debbie is. Rumi, our happy-go-lucky girl, was Debbie's shadow the whole time and clearly felt right at home with her too. Debbie sent detailed updates and photos after every visit, went above and beyond by offering to stay overnight so the girls wouldn't be alone for too long, and even left lights on for us before she left in case we got home after dark. Little touches like that show she genuinely cares. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs and total peace of mind. Debbie made it possible for us to enjoy our trip without worrying, and we'll absolutely be booking her again. Highly, highly recommend!”
