I’m the proud human of two dogs—an anxious Dachshund/Jack Russell mix and a floofy energy-ball Corgi —which means I have extensive experience in both being bossed around by a moody sausage and trying to keep up with a potato who has approximately 47,000 thoughts per minute! I absolutely love dogs and genuinely believe they are our most precious family members. My own pups are spoiled, loved beyond measure, talked to way too much, and make up more photos in my camera roll than people do. So when your dog is in my care, you can expect plenty of love, attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and—when appropriate—a completely reasonable amount of treats. (I will, of course, follow your rules. I promise not to undermine your parenting.) I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful. I want you to feel confident that your furry family member is safe, happy, and getting lots of attention while you’re away. I’ll take the time to learn your pet’s personality, routine, favorite activities, and all of their adorable little quirks. I will meet them where they are. Is your dog a professional cuddler? Excellent. A walking enthusiast? Let’s go! A little shy and needs time to warm up? No problem. Convinced they are the CEO of the household? I’m familiar with that dynamic! I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet gets the kind of individualized care I’d want for my own boys. My goal is simple: when you’re away, I want your dog to be safe and happy. I want them to be thrilled to see you, but relieved they spent time with a friend. I’d love to meet your four-legged family members and give them all the love and attention they deserve! My schedule is currently very flexible, which gives me plenty of time to make pet care a meaningful part of my day. I have two dogs of my own, so caring for pets is already a natural part of my daily routine—from morning walks and feeding to playtime, cuddles, and making sure they get plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I have flexibility in my schedule right now, I’m able to give your pets the time and attention they deserve rather than trying to squeeze their care in around a hectic schedule. I can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and overnight care depending on your pet’s needs. I also understand that consistency is important to pets. I’m happy to follow their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in their/your home, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their people are away. I live in a clean and clutter-free apartment with a dog park, so I am happy to care for a single dog in my home, if needed, or I’m happy to come to your home to keep your pet comfortable and happy in the environment they know. For walks and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure they get exercise, playtime, attention, fresh water, and potty breaks. For in-home or overnight care, I’ll keep their normal feeding, sleeping, and activity routines and make sure they get plenty of companionship and affection. I’m also very respectful of your home and your instructions. I’ll carefully follow any special directions you provide, including medications, feeding requirements, behavioral considerations, or things your pet may be nervous or uncomfortable around. Communication is important to me, too. I’ll keep you updated and send pictures so you can relax knowing your furry family member is doing well.

I am currently a stay-at-home mom so have great flexibility in caring for your pooch. If I am not home, one of my older kids will be so your pup is never lonely. I have a fenced in backyard and a lovely neighborhood to walk in. I do have one small dog who is incredibly friendly and is looking forward to having a buddy.

“I had to leave unexpectedly to visit a sick sister. Chelsea did an amazing job with a very short run through of what my cat needed. In addition my cat is a 9 year old indoor rescue that I have not even had a year, so she is a little leary of people. She took right to Chelsea. Having to leave unexpectedly brought it own challenges and Chelsea went above and beyond in looking out for Luna, my cat. I cannot say enough good things about Chelsea and highly recommend her.”
