About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, but my experience really began when we moved to Colorado back in 2009. On a small plot of 5 acres my family kept dogs and horses, and as early as the age of 14 I was bucking hay not only for our animals, but for neighbors and family friends as well. I’ve taken care of dogs, horses, cats, chickens, ducks, goats and even alpacas! I have a soft spot for what some would consider „problem“ animals. As many pets as I have cared for I have yet to pick out one myself- they seem to find me. My current companion has a distant history of aggression and has bit me more than once in the past, but every day he makes me proud and proves to me that he was worth the patience. He hasn’t had an incident with aggression in over 4 years now! As a high-energy Husky breed he has pushed me to become more athletic to properly exercise him, and to invest time into learning how to communicate with dogs. Of the six queues dogs use to communicate (verbal, somatic, motion, location, eye contact and posture) his strongest is eye contact. In a game of charades, once he breaks eye contact I know I‘ve hit the mark, and he responds well on our walks to a tall, proud posture, tending to mimic with a cute little prance. I love my boy <3 I prefer volunteer work and odd jobs to traditional employment, so my schedule varies greatly depending on demand. I might take a job tending to someone’s yard or garden, feeding and playing with their pets, or cleaning their home, so I am typically able to fit a visit in about every 4-6 hours. I prefer to hit the gym Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, and I walk my dog a minimum of twice a day, morning and night, which I will need to attend to if my roommate is unavailable. Otherwise I am available for visits, dog walks and house sitting any time or day of the week! I like to give time and attention to the animals I care for, more than just a quick visit, so I can come to know them. Plenty of care, play and exercise is my goal for walks and play dates.
About: Hi 😊 I’m Maru & Mori’s dog mom 🐶🐶 I used to spend every day with my two dachshunds — one is a 15-year-old senior pup, and the other is a rescue baby who came from an abusive environment. About: I have always had some type of animal present in my home growing up as a kid! My passion for animals led me to foster a few times and I loved every bit. I actually just moved here! I was thrilled to find out that this state/area was dog-friendly! I wake up early in the mornings and incorporate walks into my day-to-day life and I am able to assist emergency needs. I have a dog park in my neighborhood and it’s pretty walkable! Most to all dogs needs some form of exercise and I don’t mind a good hike or a walk in a bigger park! So much scenery to be seen! I am paranoid when it comes to some things so I would ask a ton of questions to make sure that I as the caretaker would be at ease and of course the owner and companion.

This is the first time we've left our dog at home when taking a trip so I was concerned Sadie wouldn't react well. Ann is amazing. Sadie seemed to love her and enjoy her walks. Maria was amazing with our 3 dogs! Our regular sitters they have grown accustomed to over the years were not available and while our dogs are friendly, they have their specific quirks and needs. Maria adapted to them with ease and provided everything they needed while we were gone. It was a great relief to have someone we could trust and rely on providing such attentive care! Not only this, but she also picked up their poop from the yard every day and threw it out, left the house tidy, and collected the mound of packages we accrued over the week we were gone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
