“Janet was super nice and very dedicated to caring for my cats. She took meticulous notes during the meet and greet. I'm actually outside of her normal service range, but she loved my cats so much that she agreed to take care of them despite the longer drive. If you have a pet that needs care in downtown Colorado Springs, I highly recommend Janet.”

“Brianna gave the best care to my sweet Dale while I work overnights! I loved the pictures and updates of her visit. She offered great insight to adjusting to overnight shift work with a puppy! It’s very clear she has vast animal care experience. Thank you for caring for my boy, would happily book again 🤗”

“Michelle picked up for Pretz’s favorite walk and gave the pup a great break from home alone today! First time together and left pup happy after taking care to provide fresh water and attention - Perfect!!”

“Sarah was quick to respond for a last minute booking we needed for a holiday weekend. She followed directions and provided pictures of our cats being entertained. She also brought in some rather large packages we had delivered while we were gone.”

“Dixie was great! She played frisbee with my obsessive yorkie each time she visited. She also sent me lots of pictures each time she visited. Will definitely book again!”

“Tess was an absolute blessing to have during a very stressful first time away from my girl in a new home. The updates she provided were just what I needed to feel comfortable enough to continue with what I needed to handle. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure my Eleanor was cared for and not lonely. I’ve already rebooked her. Definitely recommended!”

About: Hi 😊 I’m Maru & Mori’s dog mom 🐶🐶 I used to spend every day with my two dachshunds — one is a 15-year-old senior pup, and the other is a rescue baby who came from an abusive environment. They’re currently staying in Korea for a while, and I realized how much I miss the simple everyday moments with dogs — going on walks, hanging out together at home, taking naps next to each other, and just sharing the day 😊 So I wanted to start pet sitting not in a “professional service” kind of way, but more because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and spending meaningful time with them 🫶 For pets who spend long hours alone waiting for their humans to come home, I’d love for them to have a fun, comforting day with a new friend instead of feeling lonely all day :) I work freelance from home, so I’m usually home most of the day and can give pets plenty of attention and company. ✔️ Puppies welcome ✔️ Senior dogs welcome ✔️ Shy or anxious pets welcome ✔️ Cats welcome too 🐱 And currently, there are no other pets in my home, so it’s also a good fit for pets who prefer calm, one-on-one attention 😊 🐾 Daycare 🐾 Pet sitting visits 🐾 Boarding at my place 🐾 Walks & playtime 🐾 Photo/video updates 📸 Honestly, I just miss having furry little companions around and would love to spend time with pets the same way I did with Maru & Mori — with warmth, patience, and lots of love 🤍 Feel free to message me anytime 😊🐾 Self employed, and work from home. Very flexible time and availability to care for your dogs. Close proximity to multiple parks downtown and safe walking and bike trails. Able to come to your house as well for dog care! I've lived with two dachshunds in Seoul for 15 years. They recieved two to three walks a day by the Han river and lots of attention indoors during the day. I take care of oets like they are oart of my family
“Jerica has been a great and reliable drop in visitor for my pug, Spanky! She gives him lots of playtime and always updates me with any concerns. She was also very flexible with me when I needed to cancel a visit last minute, and very communicative. I would definitely recommend her!”

“We were so happy to have Dylan take care of our Bootsy boy again. This time was special too because he was able to help us trap and rescue a cat who has been loose in our neighborhood for almost 3 months! He’s literally a kitty guardian angel. Thank you so much, Dylan! He went above and beyond in helping us out with our new kitty friend, and even spent time with this cat helping to calm and reassure him. He gave us some great tips on how to make this cat feel comfortable and acclimated during this time.”

“This was my first drop in visit from Tahler and she did fantastic. She sent me tons of pictures and all of my fur babies looked happy. I really appreciated the updates.”

“Brianne went way above and beyond with our kitties while we were away for the first overnight trip since we had gotten the kittens. She played, fed, cleaned up after them, and was always interacting with the kitties and sending pictures and video! I appreciated the continual contact, and knowing that our cats were being spoiled and well taken care of! We returned, and they were not frantically seeking attention, or worried or anxious. She took great care of them and helped keep them (and me!) at ease!”

“Austin and Ani are the most professional sitters I have had yet! I love the numerous and helpful notes and pics they do every day. I appreciate the consistency in their use of the training I am doing with my pup. Would highly recommend :) ”
“Jessica is awesome! She does great with my super high energy, hyper dog. Her services have helped me out tremendously and my dog really likes her, she is calm and relaxed after spending time with Jessica. I will definitely continue to use her services and would highly recommend her.”

“Brianna did a fantastic job taking care of my dog while I was out of town. Consistent updates and pictures and let me just say, I could see the joy on my dogs face. Brianna is definitely a fantastic care taker.”

“Dora was so thoughtful with both cat care and some odds and ends with housesitting that came up while we were away—we really appreciate her attention to detail and would rebook with her anytime we need help! Thank you 🐾”

About: I have hands-on experience working with dogs in both training and care environments, including assisting with board-and-train programs under a professional trainer. This work gave me exposure to structured obedience training, leash handling, and managing dogs with a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. I have also worked with higher-drive dogs, including bitesport and working-line dogs, where clear communication, calm handling, and consistency are essential. This experience taught me how important structure, patience, and reading a dog’s body language are in building trust and maintaining safety. In addition to training environments, I have experience with everyday dog care such as walking, feeding, basic obedience reinforcement, and maintaining routines that help dogs feel secure and balanced while their owners are away. My focus is always on keeping dogs safe, comfortable, and understood while providing owners with reliable, attentive care. Pet care is a priority in my weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take on morning, midday, and evening visits as needed. I plan my days around bookings so I can be consistent, reliable, and fully present for each pet in my care. I prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine while in their home environment. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding, medication, and care preferences. For drop-ins, I ensure pets are cared for, have fresh water, bathroom breaks, and attention before leaving. For walks, I focus on safe leash handling, awareness of surroundings, and adjusting the walk to the dog’s needs and energy level. I treat every home with respect and understand the importance of trust when caring for someone’s pet.
“Abigail was so professional and a delight! Daisy loved her, and Abigail went above and beyond giving her attention. She also checked in and provided pictures. I’m so grateful!”

“Amanda was an excellent sitter. She followed our instructions to a tee and paid extra attention to all of our very specific requests. She also showed genuine concern for one of our ailing cats, which is indicative of how much she clearly loves animals. Amanda is everything you could hope for in a sitter: she's extremely pleasant to work with, has an incredible background of being a former Vet Tech, has the empathy you'd expect from another loving pet owner, and is otherwise very low maintenance. We would definitely consider using her again the future.”

“Sarah does a great job with my 2 shepsky dogs! I appreciate the rover card with many pictures every visit. My dogs are happier when I come home from work. Thank you Sarah!”

Katheryn is literally the best. She is sooooo good with my dogs (3) and you can tell genuinely cares about the pets she sits for. She is communicative, organized and dependable. Literally the best dog sitter in all of Colorado. I absolutely recommend her to anyone is the Colorado Springs area. THE BEST!!!

We needed pet care on short notice due to a family emergency. Michelle listened to my needs and took notes during our meet and greet, which really put my mind at ease. She provided great texts and pictures of each visit, again helping reduce our anxieties of leaving our kitty on such short notice. Highly recommended. Thanks, Michelle!

This is the first time we've left our dog at home when taking a trip so I was concerned Sadie wouldn't react well. Ann is amazing. Sadie seemed to love her and enjoy her walks. Received a picture every day. Came home to a happy dog. Would definitely use Ann again. Couldn't ask for a better experience for Sadie and myself.
Alli is an absolute life saver. Absolutely wonderful with my kitties - they’ve become familiar enough with her now that their behavior when I come home has even improved (less confused, if confused at all) & it puts me at tremendous ease. Thank you for taking such good care of the kitties Allie, you’re the best!

Maria was amazing with our 3 dogs! Our regular sitters they have grown accustomed to over the years were not available and while our dogs are friendly, they have their specific quirks and needs. Maria adapted to them with ease and provided everything they needed while we were gone. It was a great relief to have someone we could trust and rely on providing such attentive care! Not only this, but she also picked up their poop from the yard every day and threw it out, left the house tidy, and collected the mound of packages we accrued over the week we were gone. Thank you so much, Maria!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
