About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals is genuinely something I love. I’m a proud pet parent to two dogs (3 & 4) and two cats (10 & 11), so I understand how much trust goes into having someone care for your pets! I’ve been dog and cat sitting for 7+ years. I started through Wag and eventually began caring for pets independently through repeat clients and word of mouth. Over the years, I’ve cared for all kinds of personalities and love getting to know each pet’s unique quirks, routines, and needs. I’m an animal lover at heart, and I truly enjoy building a connection with every pet I meet :) - I’m that annoying person talking to animals In the baby voice! My goal is for your pets to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. If needed there is always space to separate animals however, I plan to integrate them to have a nice time playing together if that’s what your sweet one allows!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in elementary school. I have mostly had big dogs all my life but I have taken care of small dogs too. I currently have 2 older big dogs whom I care for. I currently work full time at a school so I would be available to work with your animals after 4. On Mondays I have classes from 6-8 but before then I will be able to check on your animal. On the weekends I am completely available all day. I will not bring your animals to my home as I have 2 big dogs and 3 cats who aren’t accepting to new animals.
About: I’ve worked in vet med for about 3 years. I’ve always owned animals. I currently have 2 dogs, a 6 yr old golden lab and a 5 year old pittie. Family and friends trust me well enough to care for their babies. Im a stay at home mom just trying to make some extra money. I love staying home with my child so if I’m able to bring in some extra income by also caring for pets(which i love) it would be a dream I can easily crate your dog if needed. I would give all the love and cuddles to the pups if they enjoy that. I want to make them as less stressed as possible while you owners are away.

After chatting with Devin during our first meeting, it was so clear how much she adores cats, which made us feel completely comfortable trusting her with ours! She took such amazing care of our sweet senior cat! She'd check on her twice a day to feed her, give her medicine, and shower her with lots of love. Katie was amazing! She watched our two cats for 3 weeks, following everything to the letter. She communicated a ton with us through pictures and messages to let us know the cats were doing well. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were in need of a last-minute dog sitter. I checked Rover and found Josh‘s profile and contacted him right away. He returned my message within a short amount of time we spoke about expectations and needs and about Zeus 140 pound Rottweiler some even seasoned dog sitters would have been intimidated but not Josh Josh took the time to meet Zeus the day prior to needing Care and want him over within no time. We left out of town, knowing that Zeus would be well cared for even after only meeting Josh once. We got updates each time. Josh visited Zeus. We got pictures and best of all we had peace of mind. Thank you, Josh for being so great to Zeus. We recommend you to anybody who needs help with their pups while away.

Another great experience with Lori! Our Dexter has been a bit more nervous lately being left alone, and Lori knew exactly how to cater care to help him. She recommended playing soft music, and I really think it did wonders. She truly puts care into getting to know your pet's individual needs.
Tamara did a great job watching my two cats, Scully and Tex. She made sure they were fed and had water, kept everything clean, and stayed on top of the litter box. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
