“Jennifer has been the best pet sitter ever! She showed up on time every single day. She played and loved our dog every minute she was there. We got the "Rover Card" updates every time she visited with so much detail and pictures of our dog. I absolutely recommend Jennifer and will use her again in the future! Thank you so much, Jennifer!”

“Lisa has fantastic communication skills. I didn’t wonder whether everything was being handled. She genuinely cares about her “clients” and took initiative. Not once did I miss a recap picture where my babies were getting pets and love. She did a fantastic job of cleaning up after my cats (that’s saying a lot considering their “accidents” and messy disposition. Further, my diabetic cat was treated like she is an expert. No missed injections, and Lisa took the time to understand what was needed for a special needs cat.”

“Ashley is incredible! We decided to do a meet and greet with our lab since it was our first time using rover drop-in visits. Ashley was more than happy to meet with us and even spent time playing with our Gus during the visit! During visits Ashley takes great care of our lab. I always look forward to Gus’s visit card where Ashley provides detailed information on the visit and THE BEST photos of their time spent together. Ashley was also super flexible when our visit schedules changed and even helped us out last minute. She is our go-to pet sitter!”

About: I am a responsible, loving, patient and caring person I have flexible schedule, I have a dog and I know that fresh air and excercise is essential for a healthy dog without stress. I love dogs and I'll be more than happy to help taking care of your dog. I am a Vetenerian from Guatemala, I' am working for my licence so I can work as a Veterinarian in a clinic but I have to work hard and save money to achieve it. I cannot wait to take care of your dog :) If the dog is on a treatment or he needs oral or injected medication I can help with that, I can administrate the medication. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. We are in a house with fenced yard.
“For as long as she has been coming to my house, Kayla has been on time every time. Even if there is the slightest doubt, Kayla will always let me know if she might be running a little late that day so that she knows I am aware. My dogs absolutely love her no matter what her schedule for the day might be!”

About: I have worked with animals my whole life. I spend 3 years at a ranch in California learning about animal care for all kinds of animals and I loved every part of that! I will be your pet’s favorite babysitter! I just quit my teaching position to pursue all of my artistic dreams, and I now work part time jobs so I have plenty of flexibility! I have a fenced in yard, my dogs get walked daily, and I am able to feed, crate and play with them. They are loved at all times!

“Savanna was awesome! She did a bunch of drop in visits for us and was always on time and communicative. We received lots of updates and she was excellent at communicating any changes to schedule as needed. We expect to have her watch our dogs in the future!”
About: Recently moved from Savannah, GA. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats, from puppy/kitten up to senior age. It can be costly to have someone look after your pets and I hope to provide a value option. I work from home and am flexible for drop-ins or overnight stays. I’d be happy to spend time with your fur babies and take care of them. I have flexibility and can work with you to accommodate the specific needs of you or your pet(s). Can do days, nights, weekends. Willing to spend the night as needed. I will enter your home and treat everything with the utmost respect. My main concerns are the safety, health, and comfort of the animal(s) in my care.

“Michael has a calm gentle presence which my cat appreciated. Even if she still hid from him. Because she is a cat. Michael was able to drop in for our cat very short notice (we weren't going to get a sitter but then it turns out she had a UTI and needed some monitoring and food supplements). He communicated well and took great care of our kitty. Will definitely use Michael for our furbabies again!”

“Amanda has been watching my pup for months and my pup absolutely loves her! Amanda is very flexible with my schedule and responds quick. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and on top of my own pets I have taken care of my friends, neighbors, and families pets. I normally house sit and take care of pets as an occasional hobby and am looking to try and make some income off of something fun. I normally work mid day so that gives me plenty of time to have a morning or afternoon walk and weekends I have plenty of time to take care of your pet day or night! If you are able to talk to me about whatever you need for your fur baby two weeks in advance there is more availability I can work with. I am able to take care of hyper babies and as well as accommodate for those who may have arthritis or other needs. As long as I know all the deets about your puppy I will make sure I give them the best care.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a teenager, so about 15+ years of experience. Started with our neighbors and then our family got a dog. I’ve watched several breeds that have all ranged in age/sex/sizes. In 2015 I rescued my first dog on my own, she is a part chihuahua mix and is currently still apart of our family. She is a very chill and sweet girl, tends to stick to herself. She has been around plenty of other dogs. We had another one, a boy but unfortunately he passed a few years back. I know our girl misses having another friend and would love to have doggies around! As a stay at home mom, my job mainly consists of always being at home. I currently am free pretty much all week days and/or weekends with an hour or two of dropping off daughter at school. I am very flexible when it comes to your dogs needs and can work around most times. We can board at our place or we can make drop ins work. Some days I may have my baby with me or all kiddos, so just as long as the pet owner is comfortable with that:) Available for weekly drop ins. I take my eldest kid to school early in the morning, so would just work around that time frame to make it over to pet owners house. Husband can also stop by on his way home from work each day too. I will always make sure your dog(s) gets exercise, potty breaks, fed, treats and lots of attention while you’re away! My favorite part is giving them lots of love and snuggles.
About: I absolutely love dogs and I have owned them my entire life. I love to pet and play with every dog I see. Breed, size, or color does not matter; they are all cute and lovable. I know dogs need lots of love and attention especially when their owners are gone, and I will there for them to love and comfort them. I am the Administration Director at a Chick-fil-A, but I only work part time in the store, so my schedule is very flexible. I am a mom of two toddlers, but I am still watching dogs to bring in some extra income. My kids loves being around dogs! I am a dog owner myself, and I love to spoil them, so I will fulfill any special requests! I’m home with my kids everyday except Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a flexible admin job so even on Tuesdays and Thursdays I am home most of the day unless I have an in person meeting or something. My husband also has a flexible job and can be home if I ever have to be gone longer. At my house we have a fenced in yard and a separate basement and bedroom if the dogs have to be separated. I’ll provide pictures and updates to assure you that your dog was checked on and well-loved!

Jennifer was amazing with our 3 dogs. We received regular communication and photos of each visit she had with our pups. They truly loved seeing her at each visit and got lots of love and playtime from Jennifer. We will definitely utilize her services and care again and highly recommend her. Thank you so much Jennifer for taking such good care of our 3 pups and easing our minds while we were away.

Tony watched our 2 Bernese Mountian dogs while we were away. He stopped by twice a day to feed and be with our dogs. He sent pictures and comments with each visit. He is an excellent sitter and we would highly recommend him for your pet. We will use his services in the future. Stan P
Lauren is very knowledgeable about animals and animal care. This was the first time I used a sitter for my shepherd and she made sure by constant updates and pictures that he was well taken care of. If you’re looking for a totally reliable sitter to take care of your furry babies , I strongly recommend using Lauren. They’ll be in good hands. Ed
Parker was very prompt and thorough with the daily visits for our multiple Persian cats while we were out of town. Fed both soft and dry food, kept water fresh, cleaned their eyes and scooped litter. Then they all got pets and playtime. A recap and photos were sent after each visit and were much appreciated. Even our most timid one came out and Parker made friends with all of them.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
