A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that can include walks, playtime, fetch, and mental stimulation like basic training or enrichment games. For more relaxed dogs, I’m just as happy keeping them company and giving them attention. With cats, I focus on interactive play, enrichment toys, and creating a calm environment. I also make time for cuddles (if they want them!) or simply sitting with them so they feel comfortable and not alone. No matter the pet, I make sure they get attention, engagement, and care that matches what they enjoy most.

I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and truly love getting to know each pet’s personality. I’ve had cats for 14 years and dogs since I was 7, so caring for them feels second nature to me. I’ve helped care for friends’ dogs over the years and am comfortable with all kinds of energy levels from playful, goofy pups to more relaxed companions. I also have experience with extra care needs, including giving daily insulin injections to a diabetic cat, so I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with routines and medications. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want them to feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m comfortable with puppy care, senior pets, and animals with anxiety, and I always adapt my approach to fit their individual needs.

Nicole went out of her way to make my dogs feel comfortable! They are Chihuahuas so they are very defensive initially and she took the time to get to know them! She took them on several walks and sent lovely pictures of them! I really felt at ease with her being here! I give her five stars and recommend her fully!
