“Mango is a pretty anxious pup but she had an absolute blast at Sarah's place! She got to play a bunch and came home a very tired pup! Sarah sent lots of updates which I really appreciated as well!”

“Christy (and fam) not only took great care of Barkley, they wore him out (which is saying something- all good)!!! It was clear he was well loved while I was gone and I’m so grateful!!”

“Kim was great. Excellent communication. Sent Lots of pictures and made us feel at ease knowing our pup was in such great care while we were out of town!”

“I had just moved to the springs and had a trip. My usual people were unavailable and I needed to find someone fast. She was able to accommodate me last minute and it was like a match made in heaven. My boy was almost disappointed to leave his new best friends. Definitely will be going with her again, she is very thoughtful and takes care of them as if they’re her own!”

“Great communication! I received photos and updates. Rita was awesome in accommodating my last minute change in pickup time. I'll definitely use her services again!”

“Miriam was awesome! This was our 1st time away from each other , Bear was very well taking care of . Will definitely book again. In future . Thanks again 🙏♥️”

“Troy was great with our furbaby. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. He and his family were very kind. We recieved plenty of photos and updates throughout the week. He even gave us a "goodie bag" with gifts for our dog when we picked her up! So sweet. Jovie was returned to us happy and healthy. His 2 young dogs had a lot of energy and looked happy as well.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and kitties for many years. I only have cats so I also enjoy my pup friends too since I don’t have them at home! I have cleaned houses for many years, so many of my families know my love for animals and I take care of a lot of their pets as well. I currently clean houses during the day, so early in the day, late afternoons and early evenings work best for my schedule. I’m also pretty flexible anytime all weekend. I can board two pets at any given time in my home. I am glad to care for your pets in whatever way you feel most comfortable.
“Laura took great care of my pup! She sent lots of pics and updates of all their activities. It was great knowing he was well cared for while I was away!”

“Bryn is such a caring and communicative sitter! My dog ended up being sick for the last 24 hours of the stay, and not only did Bryn immediately contact me with all the details, she provided frequent updates until I was able to pick up my dog. Five stars!”

“Took great care of Jaxson! They sent constant updates and pictures. My fur baby was so comfortable and well taken care of during his stay. I will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Megan was amazing with our dog.! We were a bit hesitant leaving her with someone new as she is 15 years old. Megan kept us updated as to how she was doing which put us at ease. When we picked her up, she showed no signs of distress or fatigue. Thank you Megan, will be booking future stays.”

“Courtney went above and beyond taking care of our dog. She even clipped his nails, expressed his glands, and gave him a full bath before pickup, which we really appreciated. Our pup can be pretty picky, high-maintenance, and honestly a bit spoiled, but she took such great care of him. He usually doesn’t do well with other dogs, but Courtney clearly understands dog behavior and body language. She carefully managed his interactions and helped him slowly become more comfortable around the other dogs—he even ended up playing with them! She also kept us updated with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re so glad we found her, and it really looked like he had so much fun during his stay. We highly recommend Courtney and would absolutely ask her to watch him again the next time we go out of town!”

“I am very grateful to Ruth and her husband for caring for my little dog. They were very accommodating to cuddle her and make her feel safe. I will definitely use their services again in the future!”

“Lorraine is by far the most caring loving pet sitter Pixie has ever had. She cares for Pixie as her own and has experience and knowledge of little dogs that makes a huge difference. We will be using Lorraine again and hopefully for many years to come. Thank you Lorraine!”

“Whiskey had such a great stay! So good, he didn’t want to leave! Shaela was great and kept me informed with picture updates! Whiskey came home smelling fresh and clean after his bath!”

“Sarah and her husband Patrick are AWESOME! They took AMAZING care of our 4mo old German Shepherd puppy LunaBear. They updated us throughout the process and were very kind and loving both to our fur baby and to our family. Definitely would recommend them to everyone interested! Thanks guys!”

“A 10 on scale of one to 5 picked him up an he was in good spirits he liked being the I felt if needed I would use her again thanks Amy appreciate your care for rin”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
