“LeAnndra is amazing! Our first time using her. She was so generous with her time and let us come over for a meet and greet with our malamute. She gets depressed when we leave and the visit help us know she was familiar with LeAnndra ahead of time! Our pup was sad and wouldn't eat much and LeAnndra went above and beyond and mixed her food with pumpkin puree to help her eat! Worked like a charm. We were always updated got pics and videos. So thankful we found her!!!”

“Eileen and Mike are very sweet and caring. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with them as I knew they would take very good care of him. And I was right, Teddy seemed very relaxed and well taken care of when I picked him up. Thank you so much for your loving care!”

“Absolutely wonderful! I felt very comfortable leaving fur baby with Shayne & Adam. I got daily updates and never had to question how my pup was doing. My dog was well cared for and happy. Thanks guys!!”

“Abigail was absolutely amazing with my dog, she took great care of Jenny, and when we pick Jenny up she seems extremely happy. I’m truly greatful that they took the time out of their day to take care of my dog on such a short notice.”

“We decided our dogs were going to love staying with their new family rather than coming home with us! Patty and Mike took such good care of our boys while we were on vacation and kept us updated with pictures and videos every day to let us know they were having a good time! Will definitely have the boys return to them before anyone else! Would leave 100 stars if we could!”

“Rachelle was an amazing dog sitter. She is very kind and caring. She took time to listen to my worries about leaving my fur baby with someone new. It was pretty obvious from the video and photos that Ranger loved being with her and her family. I am definitely going to be finding her again to take care of Ranger!”

“Brianna was the best sitter I’ve ever used from Rover! She treated Buddy like he was part of her family, took him on many walks, and sent so many updates throughout his stay with them. She is a true dog lover, and I would love to have her watch Buddy again.”

“Meg and Rachel were amazing! Winston loved them possibly more than me and they kept me updated with how he was doing. Highly recommend and I will definitely be reaching out to them in the future.”

“Kirsten & Jerry were great! This was our first Rover experience and selected Kirsten because of the experience listed and the extra services provided. Very flexible scheduling drop off and pick up, plenty of questions asked upfront to make it a comfortable stay, and Toby was happy to see us at pick up but you could tell he had a good stay with Kirsten. She will be our first call the next time we need a sitter.”

“Amazing as always! She constantly updates me about the pup and she always has a great time there. No complaints whatsoever and I would def use their services again!”

“Ashley did great with our dog! Our dog has a lot of weird “quirks” that need accommodation such as refrigerated dog food, sleeping under the covers of a bed and relaxing on top of the couch (like a cat lol). Ashely’s constant photos and updates helped keep us at ease that she was quickly adjusting to her time away! Additionally, our dog has some anxiety associated with drop offs and Ashely and her husband did nothing but instill confidence during this time!”

“Matthew and his family were fantastic with my boys. They welcomed them and let them make their house thier home. They sent pictures and updates everyday and made sure the distance seemed minimal while I jad to be apart from my dogs. Would highly recommend them and their home as a great option when you need your fur family cared for.”

“Madeline and Christian are always so fantastic. Bailey loves going there and playing with their pup. They are awesome at communication, I feel so comfortable leaving Bailey with them and love getting photo updates. They are my go-to for pet sitting!”

“Jonathan was outstanding! We were in a pinch after traveling 7hrs to Colorado Springs just to find out the Hotel wouldn’t allow Tucker. Jonathan answered our prayers and was willing to take Tucker in last minute for a long weekend. He kept us updated with photos and Tucker loved every minute. If we are ever back we will be contacting him again.”

“Milo enjoyed his stay with Ling. She sent consistent updates to let me know how Milo was doing and we got a tired pup which is always a plus when you return from vacation. Thank you Ling and Andrew!”

“Levi had a great time with Chelsie and the other dogs there. I could tell he played hard but did not have any anxiety or problems. he was still playing with another dog when I picked him up - lol good sign when he would rather play than go home because he is a momma's boy for sure!!”

“Bryn took great care of Django while we were away for the weekend. He got along great with Bryn and her little dog, Stanley, and we won’t hesitate to use her again in the future.”

“As always, Charlotte did a great job with my fur baby. She is always mine and Chewie's first choice. Chewie is very familiar with her and Odis. She is very happy when I leave her with them, and when I come to pick her up. She is well taken care of and I would not pick anyone else but Charlotte. Thank you so much girl. Thanks for the videos and pictures! :) See you next time!”

“Aliya was absolutely amazing with my cat Poppy! She provided multiple updates throughout the day and sent pictures. My cat is my baby so it always makes me nervous having someone watch her but I would gladly book with her again and would recommend her for anyone else! They provided a very peaceful environment for her. Thank you for providing such great care to my girl!”

“Samantha and Anthony take incredible care of my pups every time! Both dogs are so excited when we get to their house and are happy and tired when they leave 😊 I’m very happy to be a repeat client for these lovely people!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Carson
Dina was awesome with our pups. She took them on walks every day (which they looooove), sent us pictures and videos daily, and kept us informed. We felt very comfortable leaving our dogs with her. They came back home happy. Would definitely use her services again and highly recommend.

I’m a college student with a new kitten and wasn’t planning to leave her so soon, but Samantha was so wonderful. She took Clementine to a spay appointment and helped with recovery. She even dropped her off when I got back. I will definitely be calling Samantha again if I’m going out of town! :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
