“Leilani was great! Rubble got along with her pup and came home super happy! She was flexible and communicative, and sent pics over the weekend. 10/10 will book with Leilani again!”

“This was my first time using this service. It was a last minute need and Tami was very accommodating and kind. I could not have asked for a better person, home or experience for my little Bella. Tami went above and beyond. Got lots of updates, photos ect. Her home is a good fit, her 2 little fur babies are great. Again a person could not want or expect more.”

About: I grew up on a 44-acre farm, gaining hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, from cats and dogs to chickens and pigs. I know how to provide responsible, attentive care. Currently, I am a proud pet parent to my two fur babies: Mondo, my cat, and Bella, my senior pit mix. They are both incredibly loving, and we are always happy to have friends over for supervised playdates! I am focused on earning some extra money while doing what I love most: taking care of fur babies in my free time. I recently moved into my mom's place, which is conveniently located near the reservoir. It is a beautiful, spacious area that is perfect for outdoor adventures and exercise! I will care for your pet as if they were my own, with your pet's safety and comfort as my top priorities. If your pet has any special requirements—such as medication, specific dietary needs, or routine requests—please let me know when booking so I can provide the best care possible
“Patricia was absolutely AMAZING watching our dog Ollie! She was so caring and thoughtful and it really made us feel so much better knowing he was in great hands during our trip. Thank you Patricia!!!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs most of my life. I have experience with young and old, small and big dogs! Place trust with me. I am a retired and the pet care business is now my full time fun! I love walking and hiking and have walked 4 caminos in Spain and France. I am very dependable, caring, protective, and trustworthy. My current active lifestyle does perfectly with this venture. I live next to a park and trails so your dog will enjoy my location and every walk is an adventure. Whether you pup loves leisurely strolls, hiking, energetic jogs, I make sure they get the exercise, care, and attention they deserve. Rain or shine,I'm here to keep tails wagging and paws moving.
About: I am a passionate dog owner and animal lover. I have experience with fostering and rehabilitating dogs. I am very invested in animals receiving appropriate interaction and mental and physical stimulation daily. All animals big and small are welcome to my services. For sitting at my home, I have a fully fenced in back yard where dogs can stretch their legs at any time of day, safely enclosed on the property. I have very friendly dogs that can provide companionship and socialization for pets. I have experience with basic to intermediate dog training and am always happy to help an animal reach their potential!! At this time I do only freelance work, so my availability is open for any of your petsitting needs whether its a midday potty and play break, an overnight stay, or a full vacation. I have a fenced in back yard for frequent bathroom breaks. My dog is very well mannered and spend most of their time roaming the house/napping/playing, but is also crate trained for times when they need to be out of the way for their safety. I would host dogs in similar conditions, or come to them at their home in their usual conditions and routine
About: I have a masters in social work which I am pursuing licensure and plan to continue employment on a part time basis. I am a recent empty nester so I have ample time to devote to caring for animals. My husky is friendly and loves to pay with other dogs. I live an active lifestyle! I play with the dogs throughout the day along with daily outings to the dog park. My pups follow me around everywhere I go, they are never far from my side. I care for animals with genuine love and attention. IMy four children have moved out and i care for them with little difference between parenting them and parenting my dog.
“Brooke is great. We had some worries about our minimally socialized 2 year old German Shepard Dog mix we adopted during the pandemic. But Brooke, her dog and environment turned out to be a great fit for her and our 14 year old pug. Brooke sent pictures and gave updates to ease our concerns. Unfortunately, our pug had a non-emergency recurring health situation start up while with Brooke. She reported the details to us with concern and compassion and without sounding unnecessary alarms prematurely. I highly recommend Brooke.”

“Jessica was so kind and wonderful! She responded very quickly when I had questions or wanted updates on our boys while we were away. They both seemed happy when we picked them up and energetic. Would definitely book with her again.”

“Kimberly took such great care of our boy!! He was treated and loved on as if was just a part of the family. She always kept me updated throughout, sending pictures and messages. Definitely recommend and would trust her to take care of our pup again!”

About: Not only have I had many fur babies over the years, I have a very special place in my heart for them. Throughout the years, I have also cared for other people's fur babies. I currently work full time with set hours. I can easily accommodate to morning and evenings schedules, including weekends. There isn't much in a schedule I couldn't accommodate. I have a privacy fencedbyard with lots of room to run. It is a very safe area to have dogs in and close proximity to the library for walking.
“Atsumi was very communicative during the whole boarding process with Boujee! Every time I thought about him a picture or video would pop up from her and all my worries would disappear! She’s very patient with him which is what I love most of all! This was our first time boarding him and we definitely feel comfortable with Boujee in Atsumi’s care!”

“Noah was super easy to work with to set up our stay. My lab was very happy during his week with Noah. Everyone was so chill and relaxed, my lab was immediately at ease. We would definitely book with Noah again.”

About: Our family had dogs since I was a young boy; I've had many since then. I've also trained them. We also had fish, hamsters, birds, reptiles and lizards as pets. Some 15 years ago, one of my dogs went blind... I cared for him for 10 yrs after that until he passed away. He never left my side. A few years ago, I got another dog but she died of cancer last year. At the moment, I don't have a dog (she died) but I have 5 cats. I do rather well with both and my cats are quite used to dogs. I used to live on a ranch where we raised Arabians; I was responsible for feeding & caring as many as 18 horses. When I was younger, I rode often and played polo. My father passed 10 yrs ago and his wife sold our ranch. I am available to feed horses provided that I'm paid the time it takes to travel back and forth. I am available for cat/dog sitting & feeding. If you need dog boarding, please let me know if you pet gets along with cats. I work from home, so I am a home quite a bit. I also have a flexible schedule, and this can be accomodated to work around certain issues or conflicts. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments. I have a large (unfenced) yard, but I am willing to take your pet on walks in my neighborhood, as needed. I live one block away from a park. I am home quite often, so your pet will rarely be left alone. I am available for drop-ins, visits, or even overnights.
The median cost per night for pet boarding in Pueblo is $35
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pueblo
Lovenda was absolutely incredible with Lola. Not only were all of Lola's basic needs met, but she truly thrived during her stay. It was like a fun summer camp for her - she made new friends, went on adventures, and even learned to swim! We were a little anxious because she'd never stayed away from us before, but she settled in immediately. She was having so much fun that she didn't seem to miss us at all. We loved all the updates and photos we received. Lovenda is a genuinely lovely person who clearly understands dogs. Knowing Lola was so happy and well cared for gave us complete peace of mind. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Absolutely love using Beth to care for Pickles when we go on vacation. This time she watched Pickles and Tater for us. She goes above and beyond caring for them and making sure my very picky dogs are getting full bellies when they refuse to get their food. She is also very flexible with pickup and drop offs.

Alexis was awesome: great communication, very friendly with our timid dogs, and super professional. She was willing to adjust the booking after having something come up with one of her dogs at home to make sure both of our furry friends were best taken care of. I will definitely rebook with Alexis anytime we need help!

Emily was the best person we could have imagined, and even was available 1 more day. So grateful! Mochi was a little hesitant at first, but definitely welcomed our girl in ultimately, and they had a great time being friends! Great care, excellent service for our lovey!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
