“Tiffany is our "go to". She is awesome! Very responsive, helpful in last minute crisis and, above all, great with our 2 dogs. They love when Tiffany and her loving dog Doc get to come over and we always feel better having her here watching our to fur childern!”

About: I’m a retired, veterinary assistant. I have five years of experience in the veterinary field. I often house sat for my veterinarians when they were gone. I watched their three dogs, fed, watered, and offered playtime with them as well. I’ve always had a love for animals. I would like to continue my care for animals in a different way. Working in vet med gives me a skill set to work with dogs of all ages and sizes. I am able to administer medicines to pets, make sure they maintain their feeding schedules, and provide an overall happy experience for both you and your pet. I currently am working part-time so I am able to work with flexible schedules. I would be available before or after my shifts. I would love to work with you and your pet. My personal pets at home are always taken care of. Maintaining food and water conditions, I also play with my dog multiple days a week. I always treat other people’s pets as if they were my own. I also teach basic commands, such as sit, down, stay, place, and off. If you were working on training your dog, I am happy to maintain structure for your pet. I will also provide bathing and nail trims if requested.
“I think almost anyone can watch dogs, if they're okay with Rover, it'll be fine. What takes a pet sitter from good to great is understanding the family, being attuned to each family and their pets specific needs, and above all, communicating the specific type pf care each situation warrants. Val went above and beyond. We will absolutely be booking again with her. Our babies not only got the best care, but we felt so comfortable in the entire booking. Our pups clearly felt at ease with her loving, patient demeanor, and did as well. I highly recommend a love fest vacation for your pups with Val!”
“Amelia was amazing. I have 3 dogs and one of them is skittish but Amelia was excellent with her, my dog had an accident in the house and Amelia cleaned it thoroughly. Thank you.”

“Alva did an amazing job watching my dogs over the weekend. Alva house sat my 2 dogs and they loved her!! They are two very different dogs energy wise and she made sure to spend time with both dogs and tire out the hyper pup with some fetch. Alva was very professional, she sent several pictures of all of the fun they were having and she’s a kind animal loving person. I completely 100% recommend Alva and will use her services again. It’s great that my dogs could stay in their home and be comfortable while I traveled.”

“We loved having Samantha take care of our doggy while we were away! Excellent communication, and loved the daily pics. Our fur baby was well taken care of. Thanks Samantha!!”

I pay attention to subtle changes in the dogs behavior and adjust what is needed to ensure their safety and comfort. My off/free days are flexible, and any scheduled time is devoted to your pup. When I get to watch your dog at your home, I will follow the rules you have laid out. My goal will be to maintain the safe and calm environment you as the owner have set for the dog, but playing and horsing around as able.
About: Currently, I work part-time at boarding & grooming facility in Pueblo West, CO. As a kennel technician, I work with dogs/cats of all behaviors and a variety of medications (except ones with a needle). Now approaching 2 years working there, I can handle just about any quirks your pets have. My mom has always worked in vet medicine, so my passion for animals started from the beginning! My real pet care started when we brought home a Aussie/Border Collie rescue, while I was just a pre-teen. He was very emotionally shut down when we brought him home, technically, not adoptable. This was my first in-depth introduction to dog behaviors and how complicated herding breeds can be. My other main passion is photography, which dogs are one of my favorite subjects! While the services I offer vary, my main love is nature & wildlife. When I'm not working at the kennel, I'm building my business! I work part-time, but my schedule can be a bit sporadic, either a half day in the morning or afternoon (either 7am-1 pm or 1pm-6pm). The rest of the time, I would be able to spend with your animals! While house-sitting, I like to spend lots of time with the pets because I value their trust & comfort over anything! I'm an early riser, so we can get outside for a walk before it's too hot! With lots of practice and a strong Pitbull of my own at home, I can handle walking strong dogs. Pets are treated as an equal member of the family! Being in their space, I understand the importance of maintaining their routine and habits. I know from my time at the kennel that feeding/medication schedules and directions can be very specific. Also, I am happy to continue any training or work they've already been doing!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pueblo
Haily was great. We are so thankful for her patience with us being over protective dog parents lol. She was flexible and open to connect before booking so our pup could meet her. She sent cute pictures throughout her visit w our pup and was super responsive in communication with us. :)

Amelia is a thoughtful dog sitter. My dogs ages, 12y, 7y, 4.5y, and 2y are a silly pack with different personalities and needs. Amelia was sure to come meet them and asked for notes. While house/dog sitting, she checked in with me to update me on how my dogs were doing, sent pictures, and asked questions as needed! I’ve already been in touch with her to watch them again. I highly recommend Amelia for your pet sitting needs. You will NOT be disappointed! She’s the best!☺️

Delaney was wonderful. She took care of my 2 dogs and cat. She updated nightly with what activity they did for the day, including going on walks, going to the park, and their eating habits! The house was in pristine shape when she left! I would recommend Delaney and I will definitely book her again!

I’ve used Amanda several times to care for my two labs, and she’s been wonderful every time. She’s incredibly responsive, reliable, and clearly loves what she does—our dogs absolutely adore her. It’s such a comfort knowing they are in great hands when I'm away.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Pueblo walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Pueblo maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pueblo choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pueblo. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
