“Amelia is the best. She came over to hang out with my dogs and feed them. Since it was crazy hot today, she made sure they played in their play pools and cooled down. I highly recommend Amelia for your pet sitting needs!”

My open schedule also allows me to easily accept last-minute or emergency bookings when you are in a pinch. Safety and trust are my top priorities. When walking dogs, I use secure leashes, avoid distractions like my phone, and always keep a safe distance from unknown dogs or busy streets. I also check the pavement temperature to protect their paws. For cat drop-ins, I ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when entering and leaving. I double-check that gates are closed and that no pets slip outside. I meticulously follow your home security instructions, respect your privacy, and strictly adhere to feeding guides. To give you total peace of mind, I will send you detailed updates and photos during every single visit.
“Sasha was great! I had plans change last minute so was in a pinch trying to find a pet sitter. Sasha was able to set up a meet and greet last minute so my dog Zoey was familiar with her when she did the drop-in. She is kind, responsible, and took good care of Zoey!”
“Both my cats were very happy to have Samantha sit and cuddle with them. They didn't seem to miss us as much since she spent time with them every day. She notified me right away when she saw a problem with one of the cats ears so I was able to get him to the Vet soon after returning.”

“Bodhi was a very happy boy and it was such a relief to know that Emily was taking such good care of him while I was out of town for the day. She was super communicative and friendly and sent me pictures of both visits. I will definitely reach out to her again when I need help with my boy!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 12, dogs, cats, hamsters, and even rats. However, I didn’t start taking care of the pets of others until I was 15. I have experience in cat sitting and dog sitting. I also have experience in senior dog care, including giving medication as I have my own two senior dogs (13 and 14). I am available all day Sunday-Wednesday for drop-ins and walks, Thursday-Saturday I am only available in the mornings until the evenings (I can't provide services on these 3 days after 4:30 PM, so please keep that in mind if booking). I have 3 dogs, Muffin (13), Jack (14) and Kitty (5). I try to get them out doing different things as much as I can. We go to different lakes, out of town, hiking, site seeing, etc. I don’t want them to have a boring life lol. My 2 older dogs are on medications, so I am capable of taking care of their health.
About: From a very young age I have had all sorts of animals in my home, ranging from the tiniest creature being a hamster, to the largest being horses. I love animals, animal people, and mostly, taking care of animals, as my parents instilled the responsibility in me from a young age. My experience of care taking for animals has been from my own furbabies, other peoples furbabies, strays, fostering for local rescues, and also taking care of my fathers K-9 officer in his absence. I have worked in Doggy Daycare, have a complete and full understanding of pack mentality with dogs, and am always a step ahead of the game in their care! They bring me such joy and happiness, and it's the least I can do to give that back to them by helping you when you may not be available to them. UPDATES: All bookings are on a first come, first serve basis due to a high volume of requests. Presently this is my work, so I've got pretty open availability, I'm also a live in caregiver for my Dad, but he's still pretty independent and doesn't require my assistance around the clock. With my own pets and with yours, their safety is always of the utmost importance. If you have preferences for their care that will be followed to a T. I have 1 dog and 2 cats and everything I do is for them. My home is catered to their needs and they are members of my family. Any pets I care for will be treated as lovingly as I treat my own furbabies, and any home I enter is treated with respect just as I treat my own home.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pueblo
Cheryl saved me and my house during my trip overseas. She discovered a leak and went above and beyond to contact me, and then my emergency contact when I wasn’t reachable, and even helped sort out the aftermath. And she is WONDERFUL with my kitties! They just love her! 😍

We were extremely happy with the care our cats received. Tori was reliable, punctual, and communicated well throughout the entire eight days. Tori visited every day as scheduled, refreshed food and water, cleaned the litter boxes, and made sure our cats were comfortable and well cared for. We returned to a spotless home and two happy, healthy cats. We would gladly book her again and highly recommend Tori to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
