“Sasha was great! I had plans change last minute so was in a pinch trying to find a pet sitter. Sasha was able to set up a meet and greet last minute so my dog Zoey was familiar with her when she did the drop-in. She is kind, responsible, and took good care of Zoey!”
About: I am an avid dog lover and dog trainer dedicated to providing exceptional care for your pets. Having grown up with pets and personally owned eight (including my feline friends), I have a lifetime of experience. I enjoy working with all dogs, specializing in rescue dogs and large breeds like Great Danes. I am happy to accommodate any special requirements or desires your pet may have. I look forward to meeting and caring for your loved one like they are my own. **please read scheduling details as I work a split schedule during the week** I am currently available for dog care, drop-ins, and walking during the following times: Weekdays: Available after 5:30 PM every day. Weekends: Available all day Saturday and Sunday for ALL services. Note on Scheduling: I currently work a full-time, split schedule during the week (5:30 AM – 10:30 AM with a 2-hour break, then 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM). If my availability appears unavailable online, please contact me directly, and we can work out a time. I have two very well-behaved and socialized dogs at home: My Great Dane loves playing with other dogs and is friendly with cats (if they permit!). My Labrynesse is a calm, older dog. Neither of my dogs is aggressive or territorial, and they adapt well to schedule changes. I have kennels available and plenty of space for dogs to run, along with constant access to fresh water. I also have a playful puppy who is energetic and currently undergoing training.
“So very reassuring meeting Isaac before the actual appointment, put my mind at ease and even taught Bella new tricks!!! I really appreciated knowing he would be dropping in and will be sure to use his services again!”

About: With hands-on experience as a kennel tech, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. My background includes feeding, walking, administering basic care, cleaning kennels, and making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m experienced in handling energetic pups, shy dogs, and maintaining a clean, structured environment where pets can thrive. I treat every dog like family and focus on providing reliable, attentive care you can trust. I have flexible availability and am able to work any time of day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Book me anytime. I take great pride in caring for my own animals at home and treat them like family. I make sure they are well-fed with a healthy routine, always have fresh water, and receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection every day.
About: Currently, I work part-time at boarding & grooming facility in Pueblo West, CO. As a kennel technician, I work with dogs/cats of all behaviors and a variety of medications (except ones with a needle). Now approaching 2 years working there, I can handle just about any quirks your pets have. My mom has always worked in vet medicine, so my passion for animals started from the beginning! My real pet care started when we brought home a Aussie/Border Collie rescue, while I was just a pre-teen. He was very emotionally shut down when we brought him home, technically, not adoptable. This was my first in-depth introduction to dog behaviors and how complicated herding breeds can be. My other main passion is photography, which dogs are one of my favorite subjects! While the services I offer vary, my main love is nature & wildlife. When I'm not working at the kennel, I'm building my business! I work part-time, but my schedule can be a bit sporadic, either a half day in the morning or afternoon (either 7am-1 pm or 1pm-6pm). The rest of the time, I would be able to spend with your animals! While house-sitting, I like to spend lots of time with the pets because I value their trust & comfort over anything! I'm an early riser, so we can get outside for a walk before it's too hot! With lots of practice and a strong Pitbull of my own at home, I can handle walking strong dogs. Pets are treated as an equal member of the family! Being in their space, I understand the importance of maintaining their routine and habits. I know from my time at the kennel that feeding/medication schedules and directions can be very specific. Also, I am happy to continue any training or work they've already been doing!
About: I have owned pets all my life and learned how to properly take care of them. I also know how to teach dogs, manners and fun tricks! I own two lovely German shepherds. I exercised them daily and feed them twice a day. If possible, I love taking long walks with them. My dogs are highly active. Therefore I play with them every day. For my clients everything is at the pet's pace. Nothing more nothing less!
“Amber was awesome! Super professional, gave great updates, and most importantly kept our pup happy, safe, and healthy. We came home to a happy pup, clean home, and a surprise on our refrigerator — Amber had printed out pictures of Kota and put them on the fridge for us! Highly recommend Amber and will definitely be reaching out to her again.”
About: Years of owning different pets or being around them. Have raised puppies into good dogs. Watched my buddies aged and learned how to take care of them and not push them too hard. I pay attention to subtle changes in the dogs behavior and adjust what is needed to ensure their safety and comfort. The days I have available are because I work full-time Tuesday through Friday and I do not have a set clock out time as it varies day by day. My off/free days are flexible, and any scheduled time is devoted to your pup. When I get to watch your dog at your home, I will follow the rules you have laid out. My goal will be to maintain the safe and calm environment you as the owner have set for the dog, but playing and horsing around as able.
“Haily does an amazing job with our older dog. She is prompt and reliable and has great communication. We love knowing that she takes care of our sweet girl every day and we don’t have to worry about her.”

About: I am a passionate dog owner and animal lover. I have experience with fostering and rehabilitating dogs. I am very invested in animals receiving appropriate interaction and mental and physical stimulation daily. All animals big and small are welcome to my services. For sitting at my home, I have a fully fenced in back yard where dogs can stretch their legs at any time of day, safely enclosed on the property. I have very friendly dogs that can provide companionship and socialization for pets. I have experience with basic to intermediate dog training and am always happy to help an animal reach their potential!! At this time I do only freelance work, so my availability is open for any of your petsitting needs whether its a midday potty and play break, an overnight stay, or a full vacation. My dog is very well mannered and spend most of their time roaming the house/napping/playing, but is also crate trained for times when they need to be out of the way for their safety. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pueblo West
Kari was amazing. She went above and beyond seeing to my two cats and everything in between. My two boys were a bit messy while we were gone and she cleaned up after them. She checked in on my fish tank and got the mail and vacuumed the cat mess. Much love! She will be my go to person from now on. She put my mind at ease about leaving for a long weekend.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
