“Rayelle was awesome! She took great care of our kitties while we were gone and I could tell that she genuinely cared for her feline clients. 100% trust her in our home and with our pets. We'll definitely be looking to Rayelle the next time that we need pet sitting.”

“Sasha was great! I had plans change last minute so was in a pinch trying to find a pet sitter. Sasha was able to set up a meet and greet last minute so my dog Zoey was familiar with her when she did the drop-in. She is kind, responsible, and took good care of Zoey!”

“Jason went above and beyond to overcome some obstacles to hoa drop in visit. We admire his dedication to getting it done! We had the chance to meet him, his wife, and his dog Juniper ahead of the visit and found them all to be wonderful.”
“Spencer was wonderful! Jackson loved him immediately ( very rare) he was give extra time and attention when he wasn’t eating! I’d recommend him highly… I will definitely use Spencer again!”

“Jessica literally went above and beyond to watch over our fury babies while my husband and I went on vacation. Jessica’s main fur baby was our dog simba but she was kind enough to pop in and check on the baby and big goats as well. We were so nervous going on a vacation as farm owners but she made us so comfortable. Highly recommend booking with her!”

About: Hello, a little bit about me is my mom was actually a miniature dog breeder while I was younger, and I would actually help her take care of the puppies, along with having the privilege to be with the little mama’s in the middle of the birthing process. It resulted in me learning how to take care of the many animals, and how to have a lot of patience lol. I, myself, have 2 baby dogs and 1 needy cat, so I understand how it is when they become your world. If you have any more questions about me, just feel free to ask! I know that it can be an overwhelming experience to find a good sitter, but I am here to make it as fun and relaxing as possible. Thank you so much, and I look forward to supporting you! I am currently working part-time at Farmers Insurance, and it is 1-5pm on Monday-Friday. I also just prefer a couple hours for the morning on Sundays to go to church, but all other hours I am completely free! I cannot take care of pets in my home sadly, but I will be able to soon! I will update you guys when that happens, but I am willing to drive to them for now!
About: Not only have I had many fur babies over the years, I have a very special place in my heart for them. Throughout the years, I have also cared for other people's fur babies. I currently work full time with set hours. I can easily accommodate to morning and evenings schedules, including weekends. There isn't much in a schedule I couldn't accommodate. I have a privacy fencedbyard with lots of room to run. It is a very safe area to have dogs in and close proximity to the library for walking.
“Cathy was great with the dogs!! She communicated very well, was on time, and took care of my babies without any issues. One is young, rambunctious, and energetic while the other is small and old but still likes a little attention and play time. She did well with both.”

“As always, Melissa provided great care for our older cat — he requires quite a bit — and we are very thankful for that! Also, the pictures are great :) We will certainly ask Melissa to look after our kitties again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I grew up on a family farm in the Midwest, we raised multiple breeds and 4H projects included dog training. I helped establish two dog training programs in two prisons in the Midwest. I served for a few years on the board of a nonprofit no kill shelter in the Midwest. I have two American Shelter Dogs that are well socialized and love going out on the trails. Both behaved well enough I am 100% comfortable off leash as long as trail rules allow. My boys are just part of life in the country. We live on 40 acres. I have 1.5 miles of walking trails. We go on regular walks at home for the week we don’t make it to the trails. I am self employed and try to maintain an available schedule. My home offers an open floor plan and the outdoors offers 40 acres with 1.5 miles of maintained walking trails. Outside time with your pup will be on leash until I am comfortable with our bond. Visits at your home will be an opportunity for play time in their own environment based on their likes and needs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
