“Miriam was fantastic in keeping us updated. Our dog was obviously happy and in good spirits upon pickup. We were grateful for her keeping our dog for the week. Great care overall.”

“I can’t say enough about how amazing Laura was with our dogs while we were out of town. She sent daily updates and photos, took them on multiple walks each day, and even brought fun toys to keep them engaged. She was incredibly flexible with timing, and I can’t imagine leaving our dogs with anyone else moving forward. Six stars if I could!”

“Trish is amazing!! Such a sweet person who so clearly loves all fur babies & took amazing care of my pup. She sent many photos & updates throughout the day, it was obvious my pup was having the best time with new human & dog friends! Couldn’t recommend more!🙏🏼”

“Mile and Karen took great care of our older dog who requires medication. She seemed very happy when she came home, as I am sure she received lots of tender, loving care while we were gone. I would highly recommend them.”

“Josie was so wonderful and took such good care of both my kitty and dog! She sent daily pictures and videos and kept them on their schedule with lots of pets and love! Allowed me to really enjoy time with my family back Easr. Thank you, Josie!”

“I appreciate Zeah, she came to get my animal and gave me some time to myself, as well as try to get her acclimated with other cats. Thank you. Zeah”

“Bryn is such a caring and communicative sitter! My dog ended up being sick for the last 24 hours of the stay, and not only did Bryn immediately contact me with all the details, she provided frequent updates until I was able to pick up my dog. Five stars!”

“Brianna was the best sitter I’ve ever used from Rover! She treated Buddy like he was part of her family, took him on many walks, and sent so many updates throughout his stay with them. She is a true dog lover, and I would love to have her watch Buddy again.”

“Shayne and Adam are the best! From booking to dropping off Zelda, everything went so smoothly. I hate to leave Zelda, but I’m always so happy and at peace when she gets to stay with Shayne and Adam. She loves them and sweet Nora, and you can tell they love and care for her like she is their own. Everyday I get picture updates, and I can tell she’s having a great time while I’m away. There’s no one else I’d rather have taking care of my baby <3”

“Ling and Andrew did a great job. Milo had tons of fun playing fetch and going on walks. He always comes back super happy and tired. Thank you again Ling and Andrew!”

“Our normal rover border was out of town and Zaire was able to meet us very last minute for our interview of her—which was unexpected and totally awesome! Let me say: These two folks are wonderful! I could tell Mesa really enjoyed his time with them!! There is a dog park for the apt complex too, and I have no doubt that he got such a kick out of that while there! :) Zaire puts so much thought into the care, it’s fantastic, and sends a couple of pictures a day. Upon leaving, she gave us a FOLDER with a ridiculously cute lil post card type picture of Mesa that she took and a report card (grade A+) with many notes about Mesa’s stay. Totally not expecting that—very nice touch. :) above and beyond. We will board again with her and wish her and her business great success.”

“This was a very shout overnight stay as a trial sleepover, trying to acclimate our dog to Kerry a new sitter and to get ready for the 5 night stay. She was very sweet and attentive to our pup. I think this will work out for our needs.”
“Rita was very easy to communicate with and flexible with drop off/pick-up times. She was great with our pups! We would definitely leave Jamo and Spritz with her again.”

“My dogs had the best time with Courtney! I never felt worried about them and knew they were in good hands. She also sent plenty of pics and updates the entire time we were away! It makes me feel great to know that we have found a safe and reliable sitter and will definitely book again for future trips!”

“Estelle and her family were great sitters. This was our first time using Rover and we were so glad we did. Estelle and David were kind, they listened to our desires and needs for our dog Lily. They updated us with lots of pictures. We know Lily was in good hands at all times. Being our first time, we were concerned about our dog running off, but those concerns left the moment we walked in the house and saw that they put baby gates in the hallways blocking the dog access to the front door. When we picked up Lily, we knew she enjoyed her stay. We will definitely use Rover again and Estelle and David again as well.”

“Megan was great! She watched our dog for a week while we were out of town. She provided updates and pictures frequently and I could tell she had a great time. Will definitely use again!”

“Tankie LOVED his stay with Christy and her little toy Aussie, Petunia! When we went to pick him up he looked at us and said, "Nope, I'm staying!". When in CO Springs I will definitely let Tankie go for another visit!”

“Charlotte was great. I was nervous because our little guy was only four months old but he was extremely well adjusted and did well with her dogs. he responded quickly to our texts to check in and even sent us video of him playing. Would definitely recommend her and will use her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Colorado Springs
We met Colleen at her home several weeks before boarding our Havanese pup. We were impressed with the clean house, spacious backyard, and interest Colleen took in caring for our pet. While we were gone for 4 days, she texted us an update on how well everything was going and how well Toby was fitting in with the family. We won't hesitate to use her boarding services again.

Sydney was a life saver with our last-minute booking! From the time of drop off to pick up, she was very responsive, and engaging. Sent us lots of photos of our pups and really involved them in her family for the short few days stay. Would definitely recommend in looking forward to booking with her again in the future!

Ziare is soooo sweet! I had to take a last minute trip out of town for a few days and never used Rover before but she was so accommodating. She was extremely flexible with her availability even when work had me running a few minutes behind for meeting up! She kept me updated on my two dog's activities and sent plenty of pictures! My senior dog requires medication and she made sure she was able to take it. My youngest dog was definitely the energetic one of the group but Ziare was able to remain flexible for her needs as well. Overall 10/10, plus you get a little goody bag with printed pictures when you pick them up! I'm so appreciative for her help and openness! Would definitely book again :)

Jennifer is a kind hearted dog lover who took excellent care of my dogs! I really felt like they received lots of love outside of a normal boarding situation. They seemed happy and comfortable in her home and she really went the extra mile with communicating with me while I was away. She's a great person and trustworthy. She is flexible and kind. She made several accommodations for me specifically in order to be able to watch my dogs.

Codey & Erin were amazing sitters! Quick at communicating and flexible with our last minute schedules which we highly appreciated. Our pups absolutely loved their spacious yard and came home exhausted. Would highly recommend and would definitely love to use them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
