“Brianna was the best sitter I’ve ever used from Rover! She treated Buddy like he was part of her family, took him on many walks, and sent so many updates throughout his stay with them. She is a true dog lover, and I would love to have her watch Buddy again.”

“Melinda is fantastic! She’s great at communication and very responsive. The whole process was easy from beginning to end. I would highly recommend!”

“Donna and Dave took wonderful care of our Poodle. Our Dog became part of their Family in a very short time. Donna provided regular updates to let us know that she was eating well and happy. I will definitely use her in the future!”

“Cara is an exceptional individual who provides outstanding Dog services. Her communication skills are superb, and the updates and pictures she provided were truly valuable. I wholeheartedly recommend Cara! And will continue to use her in the future.”

“Miriam was awesome! This was our 1st time away from each other , Bear was very well taking care of . Will definitely book again. In future . Thanks again 🙏♥️”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our dog from Laura! From day one, communication was amazing, and we received regular pictures and updates that truly gave us peace of mind while we were away. Even in a new environment, seeing our pup relaxed, playing, and getting so much attention meant everything to us. The photos and messages showed just how much care and patience went into making him feel comfortable. When we picked him up, he was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious this isn’t just a business—Laura is someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. We will absolutely book Laura again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate dog care!”

“Cate is the best! We have used her twice now and we are so grateful to have someone we can trust! She is super flexible, always responsive and incredibly kind. Can’t recommend her services enough!”

“Courtney went above and beyond taking care of our dog. She even clipped his nails, expressed his glands, and gave him a full bath before pickup, which we really appreciated. Our pup can be pretty picky, high-maintenance, and honestly a bit spoiled, but she took such great care of him. He usually doesn’t do well with other dogs, but Courtney clearly understands dog behavior and body language. She carefully managed his interactions and helped him slowly become more comfortable around the other dogs—he even ended up playing with them! She also kept us updated with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re so glad we found her, and it really looked like he had so much fun during his stay. We highly recommend Courtney and would absolutely ask her to watch him again the next time we go out of town!”

“My doggo felt so comfortable here. I came to pick her up and she was all sleepy from her nap, very friendly with Rita, comfortable with the house, tail wagging and fur less floofy than when I brought her 😂”

“Our normal rover border was out of town and Zaire was able to meet us very last minute for our interview of her—which was unexpected and totally awesome! Let me say: These two folks are wonderful! I could tell Mesa really enjoyed his time with them!! There is a dog park for the apt complex too, and I have no doubt that he got such a kick out of that while there! :) Zaire puts so much thought into the care, it’s fantastic, and sends a couple of pictures a day. Upon leaving, she gave us a FOLDER with a ridiculously cute lil post card type picture of Mesa that she took and a report card (grade A+) with many notes about Mesa’s stay. Totally not expecting that—very nice touch. :) above and beyond. We will board again with her and wish her and her business great success.”

“Kerry was amazing! She took great care of our golden retriever while we were gone on a long trip. She took him on daily walks, sent pictures, and updates throughout the day. She is very kind and our dog loved her and her doggy Baldwin! Definitely recommend! Thanks Kerry”

“Sure! Here’s a version that sounds more like you: Erin and Cody were amazing with Marley! They sent lots of updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. They were also super understanding when there was a mix-up with drop-off, and I was really thankful for that. I could tell Marley was well taken care of, and I would definitely book with them again! 😊”

“Absolutely exceeded my expectations. Excellent care for my dog. Timely, clear, and concise communication. Photo and video updates appreciated.”

“Lorraine was awesome! We needed a dog sitter at the last minute and Lorraine made us and our dog feel comfortable and confident that she was well taken care of! I can't thank her enough!”
“I would highly recommend Bryn, she did a great job of watching our dog for 8 days. Excellent communication and he came home very happy and obviously well cared for.”

“Mike and Karen were a pleasure to work with. They bent over backwards to make our 13+ year old dog comfortable. They sent us daily photos and kept us informed on how our dog was doing. I highly recommend using Mike and Karen.”

“Estelle, David, and their family were so great with Bogey. Its great to have someone you really trust to watch your dog while away. One less thing to worry about for sure. Not sure Bogey wanted to leave from looking at all the pictures.”

“Aislinn took amazing care of our dog Milo!!! She sent lots of photos and checked in to let us know how he was doing. I highly recommend her!!! Thanks for being so sweet to our baby!”
“Kirsten & Jerry were great! This was our first Rover experience and selected Kirsten because of the experience listed and the extra services provided. Very flexible scheduling drop off and pick up, plenty of questions asked upfront to make it a comfortable stay, and Toby was happy to see us at pick up but you could tell he had a good stay with Kirsten. She will be our first call the next time we need a sitter.”

Aneah was amazing! We normally do house sitting for our dog, but this time we did dog boarding with Aneah and her dog Milo. My dog is selective about who she likes, and Milo has a fantastic personality and picks up on how much interaction dogs want. We were so happy to get all the great photos and communication from Aneah. We were having such a good trip that we wanted to stay an extra night and Aneah was able to accommodate that for us. We really appreciate her and would love to book with her again!

Mozzie had a great time and even came back smelling good and with a fancy new bandana. Jonathan was very communicative, friendly and loved on my dog. He sent photos every day and I could tell my dog was in safe hands and was comfortable there. Extremely happy with his services and would highly recommend.

Chelsie was fantastic! My puppies absolutely loved her and loved hanging around all of the dogs she cares for (hers and others). She kept me updated with pictures and it was clear the dogs were being well taken care of and were totally happy. Would reuse and recommend 100%!

Nori has cared for our dog Sadie numerous times, from a few hours to multi-week boardings. Each time has been great! Our dog comes home healthy, happy, and contentedly tired from playing with Nori's dogs. Although our dog is extremely timid around people, she adores Nori because of her gentle, reassuring, and confident manner. Nori sends pictures and updates during visits and we trust her completely with our dog. Highly recommend!
Hanui was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond in caring for our puppy while we were away. Our family couldn’t be more impressed or grateful for the love, attention, and excellent care she provided. She kept us updated with pictures and videos throughout our trip, giving us complete peace of mind. The communication with her was excellent. Hanui is such a kind, joyful, and trustworthy person. We wholeheartedly recommend her. Thank you, Hanui!

Sarah was amazing! So kind and absolutely saved my life when I had to drive to Colorado Springs last minute for the birth of my grandson who decided to make an earlier than expected appearance. She sent tons of pictures and updates. My fog Yeti loved her! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!!!

Doriana is an incredibly kind and thoughtful dog host. Our pup had special needs being post surgery, and Doriana was great at accomodating those instructions. We received plenty of updates, and we'll definitely be using her again when our family goes on our next adventure.

I had such a wonderful experience! Charlotte took amazing care of my dog for a few days and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that my pup was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. Communication was great, and I truly appreciated all of the love and attention they gave my dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their furry family member!

Another 5 star review for Kim! We have another stay already booked. We've been able to do more activities around Colorado since we found Kim to take care of Tika. Sadly, dogs aren't welcome at many of the places we've been visiting but with an amazing sitter, we have peace of mind that our pup is being well cared for while we're out exploring the state. Thank you!

Aliya was an AMAZING sitter for my two cats. She communicated great with me, she was flexible with my changing schedule, and she took great care of the cats like they were her own. She sent plenty of pictures and really gave me peace of mind that they were in good hands. Could not recommend enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
