“Sure thing! Here’s a review for Samantha and Anthony: Samantha and Anthony did an amazing job watching our dog. They kept us updated with videos and pictures, which was really reassuring. They also had other dogs they were watching, which kept our dog company and well-exercised. Highly recommend them!”

“Our normal rover border was out of town and Zaire was able to meet us very last minute for our interview of her—which was unexpected and totally awesome! Let me say: These two folks are wonderful! I could tell Mesa really enjoyed his time with them!! There is a dog park for the apt complex too, and I have no doubt that he got such a kick out of that while there! :) Zaire puts so much thought into the care, it’s fantastic, and sends a couple of pictures a day. Upon leaving, she gave us a FOLDER with a ridiculously cute lil post card type picture of Mesa that she took and a report card (grade A+) with many notes about Mesa’s stay. Totally not expecting that—very nice touch. :) above and beyond. We will board again with her and wish her and her business great success.”

“Bryn took great care of Django while we were away for the weekend. He got along great with Bryn and her little dog, Stanley, and we won’t hesitate to use her again in the future.”

“Kim is amazing! We adopted Willow, a high energy rescue, a few months ago and were nervous about leaving her with a sitter for the first time. Kim put our minds at ease immediately. She took such good care of Willow, and sent pictures every day of their adventures! We were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing she was in great hands. We will absolutely be booking with Kim again!”

“Right away I felt very comfortable leaving Truffle with Dolores. She kept me up to date my entire trip and is such a sweet person! I can tell her and her family gave my pup so much love. She went above and beyond to help me out with a scheduling mishap. Could not recommend more!”

“Franco warned up to Kerry quickly, and loved his walks, treats, cuddles and her yard. I’ll definitely ask her to sit again and highly recommend! She takes great photos too and is really communicative.”

“I appreciate Zeah, she came to get my animal and gave me some time to myself, as well as try to get her acclimated with other cats. Thank you. Zeah”

“Caitlyn was available such short notice, flexible with pickup time and took good care of our girl that needed eye ointment throughout the day. Although it was just for a day would definitely be back for longer stay. Thank you so much Caitlyn!”
“They were so caring and attentive to my very anxious, senior dog. I had no worries while we were gone on our trip, about her. She was comfortable and came home happy. Will definitely reach out to them first thing when needed again.”

“Excellent!!! Mike and Karen made our anxious boy, Dakota, comfortable during his 5 day stay. He was extremely well cared for. We would not hesitate to use them again. We liked the daily picture and update on his day. Thank you!! :)”

“Milo enjoyed his stay with Ling. She sent consistent updates to let me know how Milo was doing and we got a tired pup which is always a plus when you return from vacation. Thank you Ling and Andrew!”

“Hanui is wonderful. It’s impossible to describe in detail how truly happy my wife and I are after she looked after our Murphy. She gave him all the love and care one could ask for - even dealing with his need to sleep alongside someone. We won’t hesitate to ask her to look after him in the future. And we’re even planning on having a meet-up just so he can spend more time with her after their connection. You couldn’t ask for a better person to look after your pet.”

“Sean did an amazing job watching our pup over the weekend. He was very easy to communicate with, sent me pictures and updates and took really good care of our pup. Thank you, Sean! I know my pup was in good hands with you.”

“I can’t say enough about how amazing Laura was with our dogs while we were out of town. She sent daily updates and photos, took them on multiple walks each day, and even brought fun toys to keep them engaged. She was incredibly flexible with timing, and I can’t imagine leaving our dogs with anyone else moving forward. Six stars if I could!”

“This review is long overdue but I can’t emphasize enough how much Breanne will be one of your best experiences on Rover if you need care services for your dog. She goes above and beyond to make your dog feel at home and accommodates many busy schedules. She has been our saving grace and we can’t thank her enough for her great care!!!”

“Courtney went above and beyond taking care of our dog. She even clipped his nails, expressed his glands, and gave him a full bath before pickup, which we really appreciated. Our pup can be pretty picky, high-maintenance, and honestly a bit spoiled, but she took such great care of him. He usually doesn’t do well with other dogs, but Courtney clearly understands dog behavior and body language. She carefully managed his interactions and helped him slowly become more comfortable around the other dogs—he even ended up playing with them! She also kept us updated with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re so glad we found her, and it really looked like he had so much fun during his stay. We highly recommend Courtney and would absolutely ask her to watch him again the next time we go out of town!”

“Amber is amazing and tough! I adopted a crazy dog, and Amber and her kids handled her perfectly. She sent pics, took her to the park. I appreciate her last minute acceptance and her pricing is great! She is gracious and kind. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs care for their fur babies. She is trustworthy and experienced!”

Charlotte is the absolute BEST!!!! Felt like I was leaving my boy with a close friend. Scoob had an incident and Charlotte was kick to respond and make sure my sweet boy was taken care of. Her updates and check-ins made my trip away from home MUCH easier. SO SO SOOOOO happy Scoob and I found an amazing sitter with such attention to detail. Charlotte has easily become our go-to sitter ❤️

I have been booking with Christine now for a number of years as I have a job that requires a decent amount of travel and a nearly 12 year old husky who is very particular and very needy. He is not a casual "drop in and check on him" kind of dog and requires a fair bit of attention not to become an absolute terror, and Christine has taken his quirks in complete stride and provided him excellent care on every occasion. Mishka loves staying with her (he gets excited in the car when we take her exit off 1-25) and always comes home happy and healthy. She is my go to sitter in the Springs and I do not forsee that changing for the duration of Mishka's life.

Hally is the best! She has taken care of our dog, Jaws, several times now when we have been traveling out of town, and is always the first sitter we check with for any boarding needs. She is very communicative, sends lots of picture and video updates, and seems to genuinely love our pup. I feel such peace of mind leaving Jaws in her care, and confidence that he is safe, well-cared-for, and having a blast.

We met Colleen at her home several weeks before boarding our Havanese pup. We were impressed with the clean house, spacious backyard, and interest Colleen took in caring for our pet. While we were gone for 4 days, she texted us an update on how well everything was going and how well Toby was fitting in with the family. We won't hesitate to use her boarding services again.

Sydney was a life saver with our last-minute booking! From the time of drop off to pick up, she was very responsive, and engaging. Sent us lots of photos of our pups and really involved them in her family for the short few days stay. Would definitely recommend in looking forward to booking with her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
