Growing up in a close-knit neighborhood, my sister and I would dog-sit for many neighbors. I've had experiences with all different types of dogs, ranging from a small chihuahua to a big English bulldog. I have walked the dogs and cared for them over periods of the day and have stayed the night in the owner's home. I am a graduate of USC and am looking to work in the animal care industry. I also grew up with a yellow labrador and a miniature schnauzer, who both aged well into their teens. Throughout their senior years, there was attentive care, love, and patience given while caring for them both. Sadly they are now both gone, but having this opportunity with Rover allows for me to help others in caring for their furry family members of all breeds!

Maria has been wonderful with our dog, Kita. Kita stayed with her regularly from approximately 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM, and even though she's a nervous girl, it was clear from the start that she quickly became comfortable and happy there. Maria was incredibly flexible with scheduling and even allowed Kita to stay until 5:45 PM on one occasion, which we really appreciated. The best thing is that Kita absolutely loves going to Maria's house. She gets excited when we arrive and always comes home tired and well cared for. It's such a relief knowing our dog is in good hands during the day. We highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and accommodating dog sitter!
We travel full time and needed a boarder for a couple of nights in order to visit some friends with cats, and Maria was able to take our dog on very short notice and with very little background information. Of course we were available for questions, but - importantly - she communicated with us proactively, sent lots of pictures and video, and made us feel entirely certain that our dog was in capable and caring hands. Thank you, Maria!
Maria as always was an awesome sitter for Parker. Great communication and gave lots of love to my pup.
Maria took great care of my pup while I was away for a week. She was kind, communicative, doted on my pup and sent any questions, details of the day and extra pictures. I really appreciate the care she provided and would rebook with her without hesitation.

Yes, she tends to be a nervous pup, but between your patience and kindness I know she appreciates you. Thank you for daily updates whether pictures or videos, and even inquiring how you can make her more comfortable is thoughtful. Given I am currently doing Rover full time, I am able to give your pet 24/7 care! I will be able to be with them all day!

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a fenced in yard, so I prefer every dog to come with a leash upon drop off. I have a dog park and grassy areas to walk them, and can drive to local walking trails. And of course have lots of indoor play time!
A typical day
A typical day can involve lots of walks in the green spaces and sidewalks, outdoor time on balcony/patio, comfortable quiet napping spaces, and playing with toys indoors!
