About: I have a long history of pet sitting, both with drop-ins and overnight stays. I have experience working at a doggy daycare facility, so I am well accustomed to giving loving care for such special pets. I have experience working with a variety of breeds, as well as various necessities like feeding, cleaning, and even medications. I have experience with dogs and cats, as well as any other critters you might have. I am a very active person, and love taking dogs on walks! I have received a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Physiology and Behavior as well as a Masters in Conservation, and am extremely passionate about all of the creatures on this planet. My professional experience also includes being an Animal Care Technician at an animal shelter, Receptionist/Aid at a vet clinic, and a Research Associate Animal Technician at CSU. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your adored pets! I'm currently working seasonally and am usually a stay at home cat mom, so I'll have plenty of time to devote to your fur babies! I am extremely respectful of all clients homes as well as their pet care requests. Becky watched my 2 cats for 3 days when mt usual Rover was unavailable and she was wonderful. Her updates were helpful and the pictures she sent made me happy. She kept me updated on their eating which seemed to drop off a bit by day 3 so I was aware they were upset by my absence. Her gentle approach made me feel comfortable being away. For the past several years, whenever we have needed pet care, we have always asked Amanda and Josh to care for our cat, Sierra. Our cat loves them and is always happy and well taken care of. When we return from a trip, we know that she still loves us but wants to have more visits from Amanda and Josh. In return, they love our cat and miss her when they don’t see Sierra for a while. Leandra is the best! I knew from our first meeting that she would do a great job taking care of our cat, and she ended up surpassing even those high expectations. While we were away, some unanticipated complications arose, and Leandra handled them without missing a beat. Based on her extensive experience, she had good ideas, and she kept us well informed.
