“Pat was awesome with my dog Copper. I never had to worry about leaving him home under her care. My lab is a senior so mostly just needed petting and companionship during her visits. Will absolutely use again.”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals—-dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs etc. I’m a very detail oriented person and I love when an owner gives me as much detail as possible in order to take the best care of their baby ☺️ I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds, all sizes and dogs with different needs (helping a dog thru a weight loss journey, anxious shy dogs, dogs that require medication etc). I love animals more than I love people and it shows! Anytime I meet someone’s pet, they’re always drawn to me and I feel very honored by that! I’m extremely patient and calm with animals because I have had my own pets who had special needs. I’m currently new to the Colorado Springs area and doing gig work, so I can be available to check on your pets anytime throughout the day! I treat a clients home with the utmost respect and only go where authorized or use only what the client tells me to for their pet! I’m very attentive to pets’ safety and I will treat your baby with the love and respect that I treat my own with ☺️
“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! Her communication was clear and precise. He punctuality was awesome. She even altered her visit time to better facilitate our fur babies. Plenty of pictures and awesomely detailed updates. I cannot recommend her enough for your pet sitter needs.”

“Emily was wonderful with our dog! She is great at communicating and very thoughtful. Her attention to detail with our dog and prompt communication left us at ease and confident he was being cared for well.”

“Thank you for the fast response and accommodating me last minute! Wonderful pictures and definitely made me at ease knowing that they are ok :) 10/10 will book again!”

“Maria was amazing with our 3 dogs! Our regular sitters they have grown accustomed to over the years were not available and while our dogs are friendly, they have their specific quirks and needs. Maria adapted to them with ease and provided everything they needed while we were gone. It was a great relief to have someone we could trust and rely on providing such attentive care! Not only this, but she also picked up their poop from the yard every day and threw it out, left the house tidy, and collected the mound of packages we accrued over the week we were gone. Thank you so much, Maria!”

“Heidi was fantastic! She communicated well and took the best pictures of my 2 cats. I had to book last minute and she was very nice about it and was even able to stay an extra day when my flight was canceled. She took excellent care of the pets and the home. If I ever need to get a pet sitter again I will be using Heidi if she's available!”

“Our first experience with Rover couldn't have been better and it's all thanks to Dezarae! We really appreciated the updates and pictures every time she checked on our turtle & elderly cat while we were on vacation. They both seem to warm up to Dezarae quickly and we'd highly recommend using her to pet/house sit! We'll definitely be asking her to come back whenever we leave town from now on!”

“Jennifer is the best!!!!!!! We were not comfortable with our first dogs Rover sitter, and she responded right away offering to help!! Thank you Jennifer!”

“Roselin came to the rescue again after my flight was delayed until the next day. Roselin didn’t hesitate when I told her the situation and she continued to drop in on my dog the following day until I got back. She’s really flexible and the love she shows my dog is next level. Highly recommend.”

“Kyla did a great job with my pups!! When we initially met she was very observant and took notes to ensure the best care for my pups! I was very impressed! She was on time if not early. She stayed in good communication and responded quickly! I loved the pics she took!! Very happy and will be using her again! Thanks so much Kyla!”

“Samantha was amazing with my cat, Nori! She dropped in twice a day and always kept me updated with entertaining photos and detailed notes. If I ever had questions, she always responded immediately and was flexible to help me. Nori warmed up to Samantha quickly, and I could tell she was well cared for. She is very knowledgeable and comfortable with cats. I highly recommend Samantha as a reliable and thoughtful sitter with a kind spot for all animals!”

About: I’ve been a vet assistant for over 3 years and am studying to be a vet tech. I have experience with a wide range of temperaments and medical conditions and understand the care needed. I am fortunate to be able to see first-hand the beautiful, unique love between humans and their pets. I know being away from our fur babies can be stressful for you and them so I guarantee that I will give the love, comfort, energy and care needed as though they were my own :) For four days a week, I work 8am-6pm. I offer my services before and after. On my days off, which are inconsistent, I am open all day unless otherwise specified. Available on weekends too, unless otherwise specified. With clear, precise information on your pet, their lifestyle, and with you and your home, I am able to do whatever is needed with safety and satisfaction.

About: I’ve spent my entire life around animals, and spending time caring for pets outdoors and at home is something I truly love. Growing up, I walked my childhood dog every day, which taught me patience, consistency, and a love for walking with my best friend. I’m an avid walker/hiker who loves exploring the outdoors, and while I plan to welcome an adventure-ready dog of my own in the near future, loving on and caring for your pets is the next best thing! In our home, my husband and I are pet parents to two long-haired cats - one we raised as a kitten and one we rescued as an adult cat - so I deeply understand routines, boundaries, and the importance of a low-stress, caring and understanding environment. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk or your cat needs patient company, I treat every pet with the exact same dedication, care, and respect as my own. What You Can Expect From My Visits & Walks ✨ Attentive, Tailored Walks: I stay alert to our surroundings at all times—actively watching for traffic and trail hazards—while matching the pace, route, and distance to your dog’s energy level. ✨ Thoughtful Cat Visits: Every cat has a unique personality. I let shy cats set the pace with calm, quiet companionship and engage outgoing, energetic cats with purposeful play, while keeping food, water, and clean litter boxes available. ✨ Reliable & Detailed Updates: You will always receive punctual check-ins, transparent communication, and photo updates after every visit so you have complete peace of mind. I work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, which makes my availability exceptionally dependable: ✨ Monday – Friday: Early mornings (4:30 AM – 6:00 AM) and evenings (after 6:00 PM). ✨ Weekends: Flexible, expanded availability throughout the day for walks, extended drop-ins, and visits. Your pet’s safety and the security of your home are my highest priorities: ✨ On Walks: I use secure leashes/harnesses, keep a safe buffer from unknown dogs or wildlife, and check paw comfort on varied terrain and pavement. ✨ In Your Home: I follow your entry instructions and routines to the letter. Before leaving, I double-check that crates, exterior doors, and gates are completely locked, doors are secured, and pets are calm and settled.
About: I am a self-sufficient, independent living in Monument, CO who has taken care of two amazing dogs for the past ten years. They are 75lb lab mixes. Since I have them, I prefer not using my home, but I am more than happy to do house visits. I have rescued and rehabilitated all my dogs with grace and patience. I adopted my third dog, a senior dog, Chloe when she was nine years old and cared for her until she passed last year at the age of 14. I strongly believe in being happy and healthy and my dogs as well as yours deserve the same. I am committed to giving your dog(s) the best treatment possible, I promise to love them as if they were my own! My hope is that my flexibility will allow pet owners to relieve some stress and get the help needed especially for the holiday season! I am currently working at a cardiology office Monday - Friday. I am available evening and weekends as needed. I am available weekends for overnight if requested. I always keep a close eye on my furry friends while they’re outside. I’m constantly monitoring for potential hazards, such as something they could injure themselves on, as well as the temperature outside. I always make sure to come prepared with a backpack that contains water and a bowl, as well as a small first aid kit, in case, either of us gets injured! I have some medical experience, and I can sometimes transfer that experience to my pets.
“Reliable, trustworthy dog lover! Zella and I look forward to Amanda’s visit every week. Zella waits for her at the window and would wag her little tail off (if she had one) with excitement. And me- knows she will care, play and talk to Zella like her BFF. She’s the best!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
