About: Hello my name is Mesa! I’ve been dog sitting for 4 years of all ages & sizes. I love to taking care of my friend’s fur babies and adore animals. When caring for dogs, my goal is to spend as much outside as possible, go on adventures, relax on the couch & give them a lot of treats. They deserve the best love & life while they’re on earth. I am a full time graduate student at Drake University. I’m off at noon and the weekends. I have plenty of time to take your dog out on a walk or give them all the love! How I make your dog feel safe & trusted is by reading the instructions that’s left by the owner to know his/her feeding schedule, medication & restrictions if there are any. I would make sure he/she is comfortable in their surroundings & make them feel at ease if not. My goal is to make your baby the happiest, loved & well taken care of while you’re gone. I currently am a fully time graduate student at Drake University! I and done with classes at noon and can be ready in a moments notice to go on an adventure with your fur baby! I have a wonderful backyard for furry friends to enjoy time outside! I have a playful and cuddly ESA dog who enjoys meeting new friends whenever he can. H also adores cats and hopes for cuddles with them!

“Notified me when there was a concern immediately, also assisted us when a package came in late so she made an extra trip to put it away. Really appreciated her communication”

“My kitties love Edyn, they were happy to play and get attention from her. My female cat can be pretty finicky on who she let's pet her, and Edyn is allowed to, so a big win.”

“Arianna sent photos daily, but ended up being unavailable one of the days I had her booked for and I was informed 45 minutes after the drop-in time, day of. Luckily, my partner was in town and able to stop by to care for my cats, albeit later than they are normally fed.”

“Chris is wonderful and is very attentive to your fur babies needs. You will get photos and details of the visit which gives you assurance your pet is well taken care of.”

“Dixie was very trustworthy and super accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure my babies were well taken care of. I will never use another cat hotel! I will be using Dixie again! Her communication is 10/10”

I always make sure the pets are happy and getting the love they need. I always take my dog on long walks or to the dog park. Same with neighborhood dogs. I have two cats as well and trust me! About: Hello, I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life growing up on a farm and always had canine and feline companions. My father was veterinary trained and passed on some of his knowledge to me. I love all creatures great and small. I started my own dog walking business at 13 and now work as a nurse caring for our two legged friends. I’m comfortable with all sizes and types of animals. Not task is too big. I’m comfortable walking multiple dogs. I’ve pet sat for friends and family on countless occasions. I look forward to caring for your best friend. It would be my honor. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companion! I look forward to giving pets the time they deserve and need. I’m adaptable when it comes to my furry clients. I find it helpful to set up a meet and greet before accepting a booking, that way both parties are comfortable and agree that we are a good fit. I pay attention to detail and leave your home exactly as I found it. Any pet messes will be cleaned up immediately upon discovery. My goal is for your pet to feel comforted when you aren’t able to be there. I value communication and update my clients after each visit.
“We appreciated Erin and her care for our dogs. She came to our campsite for visits when we knew we’d be gone for two long days. She did everything we asked, provided feedback and pictures. If we are on the area again, we will definitely purely book her!”

About: Pets are family! I grew up with my grandma raising champion Alaskan Malamutes and training them as sled dogs, assisting her to teach weekly obedience classes, and have spent so much time in a vet hospital with my stepdad veterinarian. I then found my kind of people (animal lovers!) at The Veterinary Specialty Center and worked there for 7 years as an ICU assistant in both emergency and internal medicine. I don’t know life without pets & I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our furry babies make our life complete! I’m currently a stay at home mom for my two human children & my two fur babies. I have the time morning, noon, & night to keep your pet cuddled, entertained, & loved while you’re away. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur babies company. I am also happy to keep them separate if you prefer. Kenneling is up to your discretion but not necessary. Besides school drop offs/pick ups & occasional errands, I will be home.
About: Math teacher turned pet sitter! I am a 28 year old math teacher in the Colorado Springs area looking to take care of your pets! As a kid, I completed the 4H Veterinary Assistant program before deciding ultimately to become a math teacher. I have raised two dogs and currently 3 cats! I love animals and cannot wait to love on yours! I am currently on Summer break so I have plenty of time for your kiddos! I am open to any and all job offers and will accept them on a first come first served basis. I am all about creating a safe and fun place for my pets to flourish. I regularly walked my dogs growing up, understanding the importance of exercise for a growing puppy. My cats thrive in a household that gives them opportunities to play, interact, and keep active.
“Emily was an outstanding caregiver for my German Shepherd, Arya! She sent me pictures and a synopsis of the visit. I felt totally at ease with Emily, and knew that Arya did too. I will 100% reach out to Emily the next time we need someone to look after Arya.”

“Laura was great and was always on time to feed our cats everyday, they’re usually scared of strangers but she made them more comfortable and social than they have been with previous cat sitters!”

About: I have been working with dogs since I was 10 years old and started 4-H, I have shown dogs trained them and worked with animals my entire life. I worked for a breeder and helped care for a litter of 6 from birth to 8 weeks. Caring for animals is important to me and I want to create trusting relationships with my clients so they know their pet is in the best hands as I know I only wanted the same for my own pups. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the week. Because I create my own work hours, I’m able to plan my days around pet care and give pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Whether it’s regular walks, check-ins, or overnight care, I enjoy building pet care into my routine and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I care for pets in my client’s home by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, safe, and secure while their owners are away. I prioritize feeding schedules, walks, playtime, exercise, medication instructions, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also treat every home respectfully and provide regular updates so pet parents can feel confident knowing their pets are being cared for with patience, reliability, and genuine compassion.
About: I have always taken care of dogs. I always put myself in animals “paws” to make sure they get the care I would want if I was a dog. Also if anything bad were to happen we have a vet that is about a 10 min walk/ 2 min drive. So they will always be safe! I enjoy taking care of animals and volunteering at my local shelters. I enjoy going for walks and always having a set schedule for the dogs. I care for my dog Gabby by getting her daily exercise in, playing with toys, making sure she has water and having her on a feeding schedule. Also doing enrichment activities.

Safety is my biggest priority. I've learned how to remove dogs from altercations and when you need to stand up for them. I treat every animal as if it were my own. I understand their boundaries and keep to their personalities. They'll be my bestfriend just as I am sure they are yours.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cascade-Chipita Park. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
