About: Animal lover who works remotely which allows plenty of flexibility for me to accommodate your schedule. Competent in all forms of care from puppy to senior. I am currently working remotely from my home office in OCC this gives me plenty of flexibility to take care of your fur babies. Morning, noon or overnight I can build my services around your needs. At my home in OCC I have a fenced in backyard and regularly take dogs to the parks nearby for exercise and fun. At my home home I have one dog and one cat.

“Patricia did a wonderful job caring for our cats while we were gone! We came back and they were so happy. Loved the daily update pictures and notes”

“Brianne went way above and beyond with our kitties while we were away for the first overnight trip since we had gotten the kittens. She played, fed, cleaned up after them, and was always interacting with the kitties and sending pictures and video! I appreciated the continual contact, and knowing that our cats were being spoiled and well taken care of! We returned, and they were not frantically seeking attention, or worried or anxious. She took great care of them and helped keep them (and me!) at ease!”

About: I volunteer at Happy Cats Haven and have worked with kittens, middle aged cats, and senior cats. I’ve had two cats and one now named May, I also had two Golden Retrievers. I’m an animal lover and enjoy giving them love and attention. I love kitty cuddles and playing with cats and dogs. I’m free all days of the week. I provide basic cats needs, food/water, litter box cleaning, playing etc. Whatever the fur baby mom or dad needs me to do. Also applies to dogs.
“My most favorite sitter ever! My cat can be a little demon, Rycheigh cleaned up their food messes and gave him some good attention. Always made sure to take good photos and updates for me. Thank you as always Rycheigh!”

It's easy enough for me to bounce around and take care of animals for those who are busy! I have experience with all types of animal personalities. I am happy to take walks, play around, or cuddle as needed. I am happy to take dogs with me on hikes and walks, I own a mid size suv that allows easy transportation.
“Arianna sent photos daily, but ended up being unavailable one of the days I had her booked for and I was informed 45 minutes after the drop-in time, day of. Luckily, my partner was in town and able to stop by to care for my cats, albeit later than they are normally fed.”

“You are absolutely amazing. Thank you for the additional service of watching our mail! You truly go above and beyond even when not asked. We look forward to using you in the future 🤗”

“My kitties love Edyn, they were happy to play and get attention from her. My female cat can be pretty finicky on who she let's pet her, and Edyn is allowed to, so a big win.”

“Came by consistently when we were on vacation, sent plenty of photos, and the cats seemed to like her! She was also responsive and available whenever we reached out.”

About: Hi 😊 I’m Maru & Mori’s dog mom 🐶🐶 I used to spend every day with my two dachshunds — one is a 15-year-old senior pup, and the other is a rescue baby who came from an abusive environment. They’re currently staying in Korea for a while, and I realized how much I miss the simple everyday moments with dogs — going on walks, hanging out together at home, taking naps next to each other, and just sharing the day 😊 So I wanted to start pet sitting not in a “professional service” kind of way, but more because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and spending meaningful time with them 🫶 For pets who spend long hours alone waiting for their humans to come home, I’d love for them to have a fun, comforting day with a new friend instead of feeling lonely all day :) I work freelance from home, so I’m usually home most of the day and can give pets plenty of attention and company. ✔️ Puppies welcome ✔️ Senior dogs welcome ✔️ Shy or anxious pets welcome ✔️ Cats welcome too 🐱 And currently, there are no other pets in my home, so it’s also a good fit for pets who prefer calm, one-on-one attention 😊 🐾 Daycare 🐾 Pet sitting visits 🐾 Boarding at my place 🐾 Walks & playtime 🐾 Photo/video updates 📸 Honestly, I just miss having furry little companions around and would love to spend time with pets the same way I did with Maru & Mori — with warmth, patience, and lots of love 🤍 Feel free to message me anytime 😊🐾 Self employed, and work from home. Very flexible time and availability to care for your dogs. Close proximity to multiple parks downtown and safe walking and bike trails. Able to come to your house as well for dog care! I've lived with two dachshunds in Seoul for 15 years. They recieved two to three walks a day by the Han river and lots of attention indoors during the day. I take care of oets like they are oart of my family
“She was very polite and made sure she new what my cat needed. Unfortunately things changed and i had to cancel. But if i need someone in the future i will definitely look for her!”

“Genna is the best and has done a great job caring for my German Shepherd. It was so easy to coordinate with her and I felt at ease because you can see she truly cares. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah was wonderful! She gave good updates and I could tell my cat was well cared for while I was gone. Both Izzy and my place looked great when I returned.”

“I am extremely grateful for Shawna being available outside the normal drop-in routine. She is flexible and great with my pups. Thank you, Shawna!”

“Dixie was amazing. She did a Meet & Greet before watching my fur babies. I had her do a drop in twice a day, and she showed up, and I even loved the pictures she sent each time! I’ll use her again next time I need a dog sitter.”

“Dan is absolutely amazing—it honestly brings tears to my eyes thinking about how well he takes care of our dogs while we’re away. He’s reliable, thoughtful, and truly goes above and beyond. We couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter. Thank you so much, Dan!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Manitou Springs
Josh was the perfect fit for Lil Richard. Lil Richard was living on the streets and showed up at my door. He’s somewhat timid but very loving. Josh gave him lots of attention which eased my kitties anxiety at being stuck inside while I was away. Josh communicated very well, I want to be contacted for any little thing and Josh heard me when I said that. Josh made good decisions and showed me Lil Richard his priority. I’ll be using him again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Manitou Springs. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
