Compassionate Animal Friend
I love animals. I have taken care of my family and friends' dogs over the past twenty years and have been entrusted with both housesitting as well as walking, bathing, and administering medications. I have had many different pets growing up and housed over 30 cats in my lifetime. I volunteered for 7 years at my local nature center as the animal caretaker growing up and currently have a year's worth of volunteering at the Wild Blue Sanctuary in Colorado Springs. I am very passionate about all animals! I treat every animal with respect, patience, and love - knowing it may take them a moment to feel comfortable with a new person. Animals quickly warm up to me because of my compassion and sensitive nature, and if you allow me to care for your fur baby I will show them as much attention and love as I know you give them! *Extremely punctual for all appointments, even a bit early!* *I am very strong on communication and send many pictures during care time* *I will retrieve your mail and packages left at the door, as well as water plants if needed*

Safety, trust & environment
I currently have a cat at home - but she is indoor/outdoor and I have multiple indoor facilities on my property so mixing your pets with mine will not be an issue. Your pet will be taken care of at my home as if it is my own! I do not have a fenced-in yard but I live in a more forested area of the city with many dog-friendly hiking trails so we can stretch your fur baby's legs frequently on a leash, so that's not a problem. If I am caring for your pet at your house - you set the rules, and I abide. I am here to help in the way you need.

Nora is amazing! She took such good care of my babies. I received such comforting communication, happy pictures, and came home after a long trip to some very relaxed kitties. Highly recommend.
Nora was absolutely wonderful with our pups! She was communicative, attentive, and took such great care of them while we were away. She went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, safe, and well cared for, and we really appreciated all of the little things she did around the house as well. She kept us updated, handled everything that came up with the dogs, and clearly gave them lots of love and attention. We came home to two happy pups and a house in great shape. We would absolutely recommend Nora and will definitely have her care for our dogs again! ❤️
Nora was wonderful to my dogs and cats while we were away. I have a very shy Aussie that did not want to come out but Nora sat close to her and gave her treats to make her feel more comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with her.
Nora seems likes a nice person, I hired her for 30-minute daily drop-in visits for my two cats over a 10-day period. Before the booking, I provided both written and verbal instructions regarding their feeding routine, including wet food, dry food, and litter box care. Unfortunately, I do not feel those instructions were consistently followed. Based on what I observed, the visits often seemed focused on taking photos of them rather than spending meaningful time interacting with and caring for Loki and Thor. One of my cats, Loki, takes her time to warm up to new people but I didn’t notice extra effort to interact and engage with her. There was also a day when a visit was cut significantly short due to her car issues. While Nora informed me of the situation and offered to spend extra time the following day, I don’t believe that was very professional for something that was already scheduled/paid for. I understand things come up but pets rely on consistent routines, and each visit should be treated as its own commitment. Overall, I was a bit disappointed with the experience and did not feel the service matched the expectations I had when caring for my babies.
Best pet sitter we've had! Absolutely lovely working with Nora. She went above and beyond. Our animals loved her. She even saw my cats that no one else has ever met. Easy to communicate and work with. She even took care of our garden plants. She sent pictures daily as well as a summary of what's going on. Highly recommended.
Nora took amazing care of our Lilibet and provided wonderful/reassuming updates everytime she stopped in! I would highly recommend Nora to anyone looking.

Schedule
I currently work remotely from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am very familiar with the Colorado Springs area as well as animal-friendly parks and pathways. I do not need much notice to help you with your animals and home, and I don't mind last-minute cancellations, as I know life happens! I am available when you need me - days, nights, weekends, or week stays (we can discuss if you need longer). I also will put your pet's care as a priority so if they require something like specific attention or multiple walks a day, I am here to help!
