“Devin is amazing. It’s the second time she’s taken care of my cat. She sends detailed updates and pictures that make it easier to be away. She goes out of her way to learn what my cat likes and how she likes to play. You couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter!”

“Chris communicated very well and made sure to keep us in the loop when taking care of our dogs. Very nice and kind person as well, as he took the courtesy to clean up our apartment afterwards, and that’s very generous of him. I would recommend him to anyone I know”

“Bre was very personable and interacted with all our animals very well. We have some nervous animals, and she respected their space and let them approach her or ignore her as they wanted to, while providing great care. By the end of the time of our reserved Drop-In visits they were sitting in the same area without our animals dashing off and they would meet her at the door eager for their time together. She was also open to learning and caring for our chickens. She did well to judge when it would be best to keep them in the coop, out of the cold and when to let them out for the day. If she had any questions, she did very well to ask, clarify instructions and follow through with them. Bre was also able to do some extra property care, opening and closing of gates, getting mail, and bringing in packages as needed. She felt confident suggesting procedures that we hadn't considered to better conduct her services and delivered them constructively. We are very pleased with Bre and hope to use her services in the future. We are also impressed with the Rover app, and how they protect their customers and their service providers.”

“This is the second time we have had Bethany check in on our boys! She is fantastic! She sent pics and kept us updated on how they were doing. Will be using her any time we need another sitter!”

I have a fenced in yard and my own dog who's well trained and friendly to all animals. Im always out and about going on small or long walks with my dog.
“Kiley did an amazing job taking care of our pet and our house as well. She did out of the world things that I thought she would never do and she went above and beyond! Even though our cat almost burned down our house lol! She made sure everything was alright. She called the fire department and took our cat to the vet to make sure he was okay as well. She is a tremendous sitter/walker that I would recommend to anyone.”

“We had a great experience with Kirsten watching our pets over the holidays. She took care of our cat, reptiles, and our bird, and we felt really comfortable knowing they were in good hands while we were away. Megan has been so great! Had pet sitters fall through but thankfully for her, we were still able to go on our trip and know our pets were taken care of. She is always on time and I love the pictures and updates she gives while we’re gone. Would completely recommend her and plan to rebook her in the future. Thank you, Megan for taking such great care of my fur babies.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fort Carson. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
