“Bre was AWESOME! Our kitty Mango absolutely loved her (he was probably bummed when we walked back in the door and not her lol) and she took excellent care of him. He was a very happy camper upon our return :) She was super organized and took note of his care instructions at the meet-and-greet, and sent us awesome updates at each visit. Highly recommend!!”

“Chris communicated very well and made sure to keep us in the loop when taking care of our dogs. Very nice and kind person as well, as he took the courtesy to clean up our apartment afterwards, and that’s very generous of him. I would recommend him to anyone I know”

“Bethany and Nathan did an excellent job checking in on my animals while we were away. This was the first time I had left them alone so I was nervous, but my mind was set at ease as soon as I met Bethany. You can tell she really loves animals. I would definitely recommend them for pet sitting services and if I go anywhere else in the future, I would definitely book with them again.”

“My cat is normally very shy- but he loved Cedar! She was thorough, communicative, friendly and did everything I had asked. Great experience all around. I will definitely be using her again!”

“Andrea was amazing. I have an emotionally fragile senior, who's easily stressed; especially with new situations. And, due to her age, I'm always very cautious of her anxiety. But Andrea was great and very patient with her. And I really appreciate how thorough and honest she was in her reports. I expected my pupper would be frightened and trembling the first few times (nothing to do with Andrea, my senior is really easily distressed), and Andrea was completely honest and relayed that she was. Which I thought was a great show of character. (And it only took a few minutes before she settled, and after the third visit, my pup was fine) I'd absolutely recommend Andrea to anyone, especially someone that needs a friendly and calm companion for their pupper. Thanks!”

“Shari cares a lot about Lady Bird. She is always prompt and on time. It's hard for me to leave a good review because I don't want to share her. She will love your pet like her own. Definitely 5 out of 5. Will be a regular for sure.”
“Carolyn is a great person and pet sitter. She treats my pets and myself with nothing but care and kindness. I'm sad she's moving and won't be my pet sitter anymore. Wherever she ends up anyone would be lucky to have her to care for their pet.”

“Darlene was great with my Chihuahuas. They loved the attention and we had peace of mind. Even my stranger danger boy was comfortable enough to bring his toys to Darlene to play with him. She was always on time and kept us informed. This was our first time using Rover and it was everything promised.”

“Rebecca is AMAZING! Highly recommended. Walter felt instantly welcomed and loved when they first met, we knew it would be a great match. When we came home from our ski day, he was so happy! We also came back to a hand wrote note from Rebecca - which is so unheard of! We were provided photos throughout the visits, and Rebecca kept us informed throughout her visit. Can’t want to continue to have Walter loved on by Rebecca!! 🐾🥰”

“We were gone for over a week and Tabbi took excellent care of our Kitty. She communicated exceptionally well. We definitely recommend Tabbi for your pet needs.”

“Katie gave AMAZING updates and pictures. She honored my dog's routine and gave me peace of mind knowing my sweet old girl was in good hands while we were gone. I will definitely rebook her in the future!”

“Sarah was great! We had a trip to Disney World for little over a week and she was incredibly sweet with our two pups. From the first meet and greet our dogs loved her right away. During the visits she played with our dogs, gave them fresh water, food and administered cbd anxiety medication, and checked on our chickens! She also made sure to check that the fence line had no fresh holes dug by our dogs. Thank you so much Sarah! You gave us much needed (and appreciated) assurance that our furry family members were ok and in good hands!”

“Grace made traveling away from our cat so much smoother! We knew he was in good hands and her check ins kept us reassured. He took a quick liking to her and we are so happy to have a great pet sitter for future trips!”

“Dixie was great! She played frisbee with my obsessive yorkie each time she visited. She also sent me lots of pictures each time she visited. Will definitely book again!”

“Fantastic and went above and beyond for our pets. When we go on future trips we will definitely be reaching out again! Thank you so much for the attention and care you provided to our furry friends.”

“Kiley did an amazing job taking care of our pet and our house as well. She did out of the world things that I thought she would never do and she went above and beyond! Even though our cat almost burned down our house lol! She made sure everything was alright. She called the fire department and took our cat to the vet to make sure he was okay as well. She is a tremendous sitter/walker that I would recommend to anyone.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced pet caregiver with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. For 6 years, I managed a professional dog boarding facility, where I gained extensive experience with everything from daily care and enrichment to handling different temperaments and special needs. I’ve also worked in a veterinary clinic, giving me additional knowledge and comfort when it comes to recognizing health concerns and providing attentive care. I now work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to offer plenty of time, attention, and availability for your pets’ needs. Whether your pup needs walks, companionship, medication support, extra patience, or simply someone who understands them, I’m happy to help. My own 12-year-old rescue pup recently crossed the rainbow bridge. He was a reactive dog, and he taught me the importance of meeting dogs where they are, building trust, and creating a safe environment for every personality type. I have a genuine appreciation for dogs who need a little extra understanding and am comfortable working with pets who may be shy, anxious, reactive, or have other special needs. I do have a friendly cat and a younger child in my home, so for dogs who are reactive and unable to comfortably be around them, I kindly ask that services take place in your home where your pet can feel safest and most relaxed. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets and providing the same care, patience, and love I would want for my own. My flexible work-from-home schedule allows me to tailor my care around your pet’s individual needs. Whether your dog thrives on frequent walks, needs extra potty breaks, requires medication reminders, benefits from a slower pace, or simply needs more one-on-one attention, I have the availability to provide consistent and reliable care. Because I work from home, I’m able to be present throughout the day rather than fitting pets into a busy schedule. I understand that every pet has their own routine, comfort level, and personality, and I’m happy to adjust my approach to help them feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. From energetic pups who need enrichment and activity to senior pets who need patience and a little extra support, my schedule gives me the flexibility to provide the kind of personalized attention each pet deserves. My approach to caring for animals is centered around patience, trust, and treating every pet as an individual. I believe animals communicate in their own ways, and it’s important to take the time to understand their personality, comfort level, and needs rather than expecting every pet to fit the same mold. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment where pets feel respected and cared for. Whether that means a long walk, extra playtime, quiet companionship, a slower introduction, or simply sticking to their familiar routine, I adjust my care to what makes each animal happiest and most comfortable. My experience has taught me that the best caregivers are observant, patient, and willing to meet pets where they are. I take pride in building trust with animals and providing the same level of care, attention, and compassion that I would want someone to give my own pets.
“Emily took such good care of my babies while I was out of town! It’s always so hard finding someone you trust to look after your fur children, and it makes trips away from home so much less stressful knowing they are in good hands! Thank you Emily 🤍”

Emily took awesome care of my two cats! She writes down everything that happens during the visit and takes lots of hilarious and awesome pictures! She followed the instructions I left to the T and the house looked as good, if not better, as how we left it. The cats definitely enjoyed their time with Emily and I will definitely book with her again!

Megan has been so great! Had pet sitters fall through but thankfully for her, we were still able to go on our trip and know our pets were taken care of. She is always on time and I love the pictures and updates she gives while we’re gone. Would completely recommend her and plan to rebook her in the future. Thank you, Megan for taking such great care of my fur babies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fort Carson. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
