About: I have experience in walking, pet sitting, and boarding dogs. I love the energy and exitment that they bring into the room. I love getting to know and interact with our furry friends and look foreward to how I can best help serve you and your dog! As a recent high school graduate, I have a fully flexible schedule and a deep passion for animal care. My goal is to provide your "fur-babies" with the consistent attention, exercise, and affection they deserve while you’re away. I am known for being highly reliable and have excellent references from previous clients who trust me with their pets' well-being. Whether it's long midday walks or keeping them company at home, I am excited to provide a safe and loving environment for your pets. I take great pride in providing a high standard of care that focuses on both the physical and emotional needs of every animal. My goal is to ensure your pet feels genuinely loved and supported while you are away. I believe that exercise and socialization are vital to a pet's health, and I am committed to creating an environment where they feel safe, active, and cherished. I am a hardworking, reliable sitter who will treat your pet with the same patience and affection as if they were my own.
“Courtney took such great care of my 3 month old kittens when I had to be away for a few days! She spent so much time playing with them, making sure they were good, and even trimmed their nails. Truly above and beyond: her care for animals is so deep, she loves each and every pet as her own (even if one of them doesn’t really like her LOL). With her vet tech experience I felt confident with her in my home in case she needed to intervene and perform any sort of emergency medical task or simply getting something out of their mouths. Will be booking Courtney again in the future when the need arises! Very easy to work with and flexible with scheduling.”

About: Hi, I’m Karissa! I’m a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer, military spouse, and lifelong dog lover passionate about helping families build stronger relationships with their dogs. I believe dog training is about so much more than teaching commands—it’s about creating trust, clear communication, and a bond that allows both dogs and their families to enjoy life together. Whether I’m stopping by for a walk, providing a drop-in visit, or working through training goals, I strive to make every interaction a positive experience for your dog. I’m a dog mom to two wonderful pups. My 7-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd has been with me since puppyhood and has taught me so much about raising an intelligent, high-energy breed. More recently, I adopted a tiny teacup Chihuahua puppy at 6 months old, so I’m currently experiencing all the excitement (and occasional chaos!) that comes with puppyhood again. These experiences help me relate to dogs and owners in every stage of life. I offer positive reinforcement-based training support, puppy foundations, leash walking skills, and basic manners, always with the goal of building confidence rather than using fear or intimidation. I also offer convenient virtual training sessions for families who want guidance from the comfort of their own home. While I especially enjoy working with military families and have military base access, I’m happy to work with anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable care and training for their dog. If my Rover calendar shows availability, you can trust that I have dedicated that time to providing your dog with the attention, care, and enrichment they deserve. At this time, I provide care in your home and do not offer boarding. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog and help you both thrive together! I currently work full time, however if my availability is on in Rover, rest assure I have the time to dedicate to your fur babe. I will be more than happy to travel to your home to check on your fur babe. At this time, I cannot take pets to my own home.

Cara is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable leaving your pets in her care within minutes of meeting her. She goes the extra mile and provides notes on how your pet is doing. She also sends pictures of your pet with each visit. It really made us happy to be able to see pictures of our kitten while we were away. No complaints! We would definitely recommend Cara to take care of your pets!

Another great experience with Lori! Our Dexter has been a bit more nervous lately being left alone, and Lori knew exactly how to cater care to help him. She recommended playing soft music, and I really think it did wonders. She truly puts care into getting to know your pet's individual needs.

Elsa cared for our cats last week and did a great job with them. She followed instructions to ensure they got enough water, dry food, their daily canned dinners, and fresh tap water dribbled from the one specific bathroom sink that they drink out of it's clear that Elsa spent time visiting and playing with them since they were not starving for attention when we returned. Door was locked, house was as clean as we left it, and most importantly, the cats were healthy and happy. Success!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fountain. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
