One of our dogs has a few medical issues, without going into a lot of detail these issues involve Andrea cleaning out our dog’s eyes quite frequently. She takes care of her eyes so well and gives her medicine when needed! I love the updates and pictures she sends me and I can tell by the pictures that our furbabies trust and adore her, too. Andrea is incredibly helpful around the house when needed (filling up our humidifier, unclogging a shower drain-thank you again for doing that, worrying about the dishes, and so much more) and we’re just so grateful for her. We took our chances on Andrea being new to Colorado and got so lucky!”

She took excellent care of my senior dog Jax (13 year old malamute mix with arthritis who is on multiple medications) and excellent care of my home! I was nervous about leaving him, but my nerves were instantly calmed when I met her for an introduction meeting before my trip. She sent multiple photos each day and her updates on how he was doing made me feel like she genuinely cared about him. I usually get some attitude from Jax for leaving him, but he was in such good spirits when I came home that I really think he enjoyed his time with her. About: I have extensive experience in caring for & training dogs of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds. I am a positive reinforcement trainer specializing in household & public manners, impulse control, & trust/confidence building. I also have extensive experience caring for reptiles and birds. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 turtle at home, but have previously owned or cared for a wide variety of other animals. I also have experience administrating medication through many different methods. I truly love caring for and playing with all animals, learning their personalities, and being a safe caregiver when you can't be there. I previously had a rover caregiver account with over fifty positive reviews, but during COVID I had to readjust and after years of a dormant acount, it was disabled. I currently have a pretty open work schechule 7 days a week. I take my bookings extremely seriously. You can trust that if I accept a booking, even outside my regular availability, that I will be on time and take care of your baby to the fullest. They deserve the best!! When watching your dog in your home, I ensure safety by making sure that all exits are secure, and checking the stability if the fencing in the backyard. For a walk, or leashed potty time, I always ensure that the harness/collar & leash are secure before leaving the house & stay on alert for potential dangers while outside. It's also important to me that the walk is for the dog, not for me. As long as they aren't trying to ingest anything, I let them take their time sniffing and exploring and lead the walk, rather than I taking the lead.

“Debbie was absolutely amazing with our two girls, Lucy and Rumi! We were nervous going into this booking because Lucy takes a while to warm up to new people and tends to be anxious/vocal at first but Debbie was so patient and consistent with her that by the end of the stay, Lucy had gone from barking and hiding in the bedroom to a completely zero-bark day, letting Debbie scratch her ears and even walk her on leash. That kind of progress with an anxious dog speaks volumes about how gentle and attentive Debbie is. Rumi, our happy-go-lucky girl, was Debbie's shadow the whole time and clearly felt right at home with her too. Debbie sent detailed updates and photos after every visit, went above and beyond by offering to stay overnight so the girls wouldn't be alone for too long, and even left lights on for us before she left in case we got home after dark. Little touches like that show she genuinely cares. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs and total peace of mind. About: I've been around cats my entire life! I've helped raised litters and even have 2 boys myself! I hope to one day work with cats professionally one day and I thought this would be good way to get myself out there Monday through Fridays I will been in school till 12 am. I have a part-time job with it but with a mostly fixed schedule. My cats are not allowed outside and I have both of them chipped, I do yearly vaccine appointments with my main vet. I've installed cats shelves and multiple cat tree for them also. I've also trained one to be harness trained( my other is to anxious of loud noise to be walked currently. )
